Next door, Fu Shili and Sheng Qian looked around upon entering and, upon noticing that only Fu Shihan was there, frowned in unison.
"Didn’t Su Wanxin co to keep you company?" Sheng Qian asked puzzledly: "Doesn’t she live just next door?"
Fu Shihan turned and sat down on the sofa, lighting a cigarette, and looked at them: "Is there sothing you need from ?"
"Just checking on you." Fu Shili walked over and sat down, saying: "Yangyang was sent back to the old house after school. The driver said he received a call from Wanwan."
"Mm." Fu Shihan nodded, "Got it."
Seeing his response, Fu Shili didn’t say anything more.
Last night, mbers of the Fu Family had all been to the hospital, and he had overheard when Lu Ci was calling Su Wanxin.
Even Fu Shili didn’t expect that Su Wanxin had never shown up at the hospital. Was she worried about dia reporters, exposing her relationship with Fu Shihan?
Regardless of which reason it was, both were quite irritating.
Fu Shihan’s condition was not a problem; after resting for a day, he planned to return to his normal life tomorrow. Fu Shili chatted with him for a while, then got up and took Sheng Qian ho.
After saying goodbye to the two of them, Fu Shihan continued sitting on the sofa, smoking, and picked up his phone to check the ti—it was only eleven o’clock, like certain night owls, definitely not sleeping yet.
Not sleeping but not seeking him out, knowing he was hospitalized but not visiting him, and when he went to find her, she simply pushed him out the door.
Even Lu Ci and the rest of their friends rushed to the hospital imdiately after learning he had an accident last night. But what about her?
Never before had he been disregarded like this; the more Fu Shihan thought about it, the angrier he got, the frustration stuck in his throat and he couldn’t swallow it down.
He extinguished the cigarette in his hand and went upstairs to sleep, planning to look for Su Wanxin again tomorrow. If she still refused to admit her wrongs and lower her head, then he would really stop seeking her out in the future.
He didn’t want any part in such a humiliating affair of eagerly chasing soone who was cold to him!
Fu Shihan was so irritated that he only managed to fall asleep after one o’clock in the middle of the night. The next morning, he went to the company and, after a busy morning, he tracked Su Wanxin’s location and set out to negotiate with her.
At Huazheng Group, Su Wanxin was buried in piles of data sheets, her head aching terribly.
After the official opening of the company, the first project had already been settled, but since she rembered sothing, problems followed suit.
Su Wanxin propped her head with one hand, trying to find a solution and, unbeknownst to her, missed lunchti.
She slowly straightened up and called Chen Lei, asking him to co to Huazheng Group as she had sothing to discuss with him.
After hanging up the phone, Su Wanxin rubbed her stomach, feeling a bit hungry. She stood up to go out and casually grab sothing to eat. However, as soon as she opened the door, there was Fu Shihan about to knock.
Su Wanxin paused, and Fu Shihan also said nothing, both of them stiff for a while. Su Wanxin lowered her eyelids and offered a bitter smile.
"Co in and talk."
She stepped aside to let him in. Fu Shihan, unceremoniously, entered and after scanning the furnishings in the room, flopped down on the sofa.
"What do you need from , President Fu?"
Su Wanxin fetched a cup of water and, leaning against her desk, looked at him and asked quietly.
"President Fu..." Fu Shihan scoffed with a mocking laugh, nodding thoughtfully. "Is this your way of making it clear you want to sever ties with ?"
It would be one thing if others were present, but now that it was just the two of them, what was she playing at?
Su Wanxin sighed and responded with a counter-question: "Did you co here to have a fight with ?"
"I ca to ask President Su, just what am I in your eyes?"
