Fu Shihan stepped out of the room and walked toward her original bedroom.

The dim light in the hallway made Su Wanxin hold her breath, not daring to let out a sound for fear of being seen by soone. Especially not by his grandfather, or she would seem shaless...

It wasn’t far, and she arrived quickly.

The servants had cleaned the room in the afternoon, and the sheets and duvet covers were freshly changed.

Su Wanxin sat on the bed as Fu Shihan turned on the light. After adjusting to the brightness, she started to quickly look around the room.

But within seconds, her eyes turned red.

She had dread of this room before, more than once.

The grievances and anxieties that had built up over many days finally erupted at this mont. Tears blurred Su Wanxin’s eyes as she looked at him, and then he held her in his embrace.

Su Wanxin hugged him and wept, gradually beginning to understand why her forr self had felt cornered.

Among all the types of math problems, Su Wanxin loved multiple-choice questions the most.

Because they were the simplest, the correct answer was right in front of you, all you had to do was find it.

But now, faced with this multiple-choice question about him, she couldn’t determine what the correct answer was.

If loving him ant hurting him, what choice should she make? Various signs showed that she had once chosen to back away.

Scenes of her eting with Mu Xinghan popped into Su Wanxin’s mind, and she still half-doubted his words.

She couldn’t ask Fu Shihan for confirmation, as he had forgotten the past, and even if Mu Xinghan’s words were true, Fu Shihan would surely not admit it.

He would say that even in death, he would not let go.

Therefore, if she wanted to inquire about that matter, the best person to ask would be Fu Yansheng. Because even if Mu Xinghan intended to harm Fu Shihan, Fu Yansheng would not.

But now, sitting in this room, surrounded by a slew of familiar sensations, Su Wanxin suddenly feared seeking confirmation from Fu Yansheng.

She feared that Fu Yansheng would admit it, afraid that he would call her an Evil Star who would bring misfortune to his grandson. Otherwise, why would he dislike and reject her so much, to the extent that even the household servants could tell he did not like her.

There were so many who wanted her to leave him, but that group did not include herself!

Fu Shihan watched her cry and felt reassured.

His intention for bringing her here was just this—to make her cry and then she would be easy to coax.

"Tell the truth." Fu Shihan lowered his head to her ear and softly asked, "Are you dissatisfied with my performance that night?"

Su Wanxin’s body stiffened slightly, unable to imdiately grasp what he was referring to, until he "kindly" explained it a bit.

"If that’s the case, shall we find a ti for to perform again? I promise it’ll be better than last ti."

"Fu Shihan." Su Wanxin sobbed as she called his na. "If one day I truly leave you, it will certainly be because of your annoying mouth."

So irritating!

"Hmm? So based on what you’re saying, you were fairly satisfied with that day."

Fu Shihan took the opportunity to peck her lips, tender and lingering.

"Stop crying. I’ve seen you keeping a poker face ever since you ca back today, not daring to speak or smile. Don’t be so afraid, no one dares to do anything to you."

"Not even you?"

"What do you think?" Fu Shihan replied with a helpless and bitter smile. "I am utterly without limits when it cos to you."

"So you have no demands for ?"

"I do."

"What are they?"

"I’ve told you before, don’t leave."

Su Wanxin’s heart trembled, and she closed her eyes.

Indeed, he was the smartest person.
