The moonlight is enchanting, but she is even more so.
Fu Shihan’s gaze is deep and fervent.
He lowers his eyes slowly, moving his gaze upward, eting hers.
Su Wanxin’s long eyelashes tremble slightly, sowhat unable to withstand his burning look. She leans backward and lies down on the bed, pulling the quilt over to cover her face.
Her face and ears are flushed, and the speed of her heartbeat makes her a bit panicked.

It was intentional.
There were no other thoughts in her mind, just the feeling that she didn’t want to disappoint him.
From the hotel to ho, he hadn’t done anything excessive. The promise had been spoken from her lips, and even when she regretted it, he didn’t say anything, just helplessly smiled bitterly and told her to sleep.

He was indeed very busy that day, with sudden issues at the overseas branch. He was still asleep when a phone call woke him.
He has a bad temper when he wakes up, listening to the subordinate over the phone, not getting to the point, which frustrated him. Then he rushed to get dressed, looking for his ID, and headed for the airport.
The docunts that he later asked Su Wanxin for were related to the dostic company’s business. During a video conference that day about the project, he suddenly rembered that the items were at ho.
Actually, he could have had soone co to his house to fetch them. Calling Su Wanxin was more about his own desire.
He just wanted an excuse to say a few words to her, to have her visit his ho.
However, he didn’t expect that she would see these photos that day.
"I’m sorry..." Su Wanxin continues to speak softly, "I couldn’t resist that day and wandered around without your permission."
Su Wanxin bravely confesses, knowing it’s impolite to wander around soone’s ho without the owner’s permission – especially their bedroom, the most private place in a ho.
So even if Fu Shihan gets angry, she has nothing to say in her defense. She’s in the wrong; she admits her mistake.
"So, you’ve known about the photos here for a while?" Fu Shihan asks her quietly.
"...Yeah, I saw them that day."
"What did you think at the ti?"
"I was a bit surprised. I thought these things looked out of place here, ruining the decor."
"I think they fit in quite well." Fu Shihan smiles, his eyes brimming with amusent. Holding her tight, he continues to ask, "Since you’ve known all along, why bring it up only today?"
"I didn’t dare before, afraid of being scolded."
Su Wanxin is honest, she was truly afraid of him before they got to know each other. Even now, as long as he keeps a straight face, she feels a bit scared.
"So why aren’t you afraid today, daring to suggest sleeping here?" Laughter is nearly spilling from Fu Shihan’s eyes as he guesses her little thoughts. "Did you figure out how to appease , so I wouldn’t scold you?"
