Qi Ran thought for a mont and said, "I have so things to take care of, I’ll go back later. Fu Shihan is here, have a chat with him."
Su Wanxin: "...Oh."
She didn’t expect Qi Ran to directly ntion this to her, and montarily lost for words, she had to bite the bullet and say,
"Then you guys take your ti, I’m going to hang up now..."
The busy tone ca through the phone, Qi Ran sneered, looking at Fu Shihan: "You think she doesn’t know?"
Such a guilt-ridden reaction from being unaware?
Although the secret was exposed, Fu Shihan remained calm as ever. He answered unperturbed, "I have so issues at the company here, I plan to deal with them and then return to the country with her."
"Alright, you can go back now." Qi Ran sighed and urged him to leave: "It’s getting late, I should head ho too."
"Okay." Fu Shihan nodded, stood up, "Then Aunt Qi, happy birthday, I’ll be leaving now."
He turned around and walked away, Qi Ran quickly said, "Take your things with you!"
"It’s a gift for you." Fu Shihan refused promptly, not looking back as he headed towards the door: "If you don’t like it... you can give it to soone else."
Qi Ran’s brows furrowed as she watched him swiftly push the door open and leave, she then looked at the item on the table and sighed,
She placed the docunt into the safe. Although Fu Shihan had signed it, it wouldn’t be effective unless she signed it too.
As for the necklace, she decided to take it ho and have Su Wanxin return it to him later.
Su Wanxin, anxiously waiting at ho, sat nervously in the living room, finally seeing Qi Ran and Su Yao return, she saw Su Yao making eye signals behind Qi Ran, but she couldn’t understand what it ant.
"Mom, you’re back." Su Wanxin stood up to greet her: "Wait a little longer, dinner will be ready soon."
Qi Ran humd a response and went upstairs to change. Once she was gone, Su Yao imdiately whispered to Su Wanxin: "Fu Shihan went to the law firm this afternoon. When did he co? Why didn’t you tell ?"
Su Wanxin felt guilty: "I only found out about it later too."
"Tsk, this person is really unpredictable."
"What did he say to mom?" Su Wanxin turned to look upstairs, Qi Ran’s face was always expressionless, so she couldn’t tell if she was happy or unhappy.

This made Su Yao all the more curious about what he could have possibly said to get an advantage with Qi Ran.
After hearing this, Su Wanxin felt even more uneasy. Even while everyone was eating dinner together, this matter weighed on her mind.
Qi Ran seed the sa as usual, even appearing more approachable due to receiving gifts from her children for her birthday. After dinner, she said to Su Wanxin,
"Wanwan, co with to the study."
Su Wanxin’s heart raced as she stood up and followed her upstairs, knowing she wanted to talk about Fu Shihan.
Su Wanxin understood that the little secret between her and Fu Shihan could deceive others, but not her family. Especially with the recent happenings, Qi Ran was even more likely to notice sothing was off.
Even if she couldn’t guess that she was already together with Fu Shihan, she could definitely tell that she liked Fu Shihan.
Su Wanxin didn’t know how to explain to Qi Ran or how to persuade her not to be angry. She just followed her into the study, head hung low and silent, like a child about to be scolded by a parent.
