"I respect that. You probably aren’t quite clear about how much the company invests in the entertainnt subsidiary every year?"

Fu Shihan earnestly rebutted.

"I’ve always been actively supporting the developnt of Hua Country’s film and television industry, with real financial backing, which is why I understand these actors better.

Su Wanxin: "...Shut up and watch the movie."

Fu Shihan stifled a laugh at her reaction and hugged her tight, consoling her, "Okay, no more teasing, let’s watch."

Su Wanxin struggled for a bit but couldn’t break free, so she had to comply with his wishes until the movie ended.

The film lasted more than two hours, and it was already evening when they finished. Fu Shihan looked down at his wristwatch and walked her out, his fingers unconsciously pinching her earlobe softly.

"What would you like to eat tonight? After dinner, I’ll take you ho."

"I promised to pick Yaoyao up from work tonight. And... don’t you plan to invite Yangyang to dinner? He will be upset."

"He won’t be. I’ll leave him at the hotel tonight, and I’ll coax him."

His own son, even if sotis a bit of an eyesore, Fu Shihan definitely cared for.

He took Su Wanxin to the vicinity of Ruida Law Firm, where they satisfied their hunger, then walked toward the firm.

The streets were crowded with people coming and going, Fu Shihan holding her hand tightly, fingers interlocked. Su Wanxin walked with her head down all the way, peering left and right, afraid of being recognized.

"Without the status of an actress, you still have the airs of one," Fu Shihan teased jokingly as he saw her like this, "Is a big star so afraid of publicizing her romance?"

"Are you kidding? ’Afraid of the spotlight, afraid of dying once exposed’, get it?" Su Wanxin replied without hesitation. "If my parents knew I was already with you, they would be so worried. Besides, you wouldn’t stand to gain anything either."

"Are you worried for , afraid your parents will give a hard ti?"

"Shaless." Su Wanxin muttered under her breath: "How can you be so thick-skinned? How have they beco your parents-in-law?"

"It’s only a matter of ti."

Fu Shihan was very certain of this.

They walked for about ten minutes and arrived at the place. The main road in front of Ruida was always busy with traffic.

Su Wanxin sent a ssage to Su Yao, telling her she was already outside. Su Yao replied that she was still in a eting and would be out soon.

So, Su Wanxin and Fu Shihan stood at the bus stop, blending in with the crowd as passersby.

The roaring of cars, the honking of horns. The chatter of people, the sounds of laughter.

Su Wanxin stood amidst this lively atmosphere, looking down at the hand tightly held by Fu Shihan’s.

His fingers were long and particularly handso. As she gazed at them, she couldn’t help but beco engrossed.

Fu Shihan would occasionally whisper a few words in her ear, and she’d softly respond, her heart calm and content.

During the ti since her return, the undercurrent of unease that had always lurked deep in her heart had now completely vanished.

She thought about the photo they found in the restaurant, with the ti stamp from ten years ago.

A distant era, the lengthy passage of ti, she had always spent it together with him.

Over a decade’s ti, through countless trials and tribulations, joys and sorrows. There must have been hardships, and she wondered how she had managed to get through them back then.

"What are you thinking about?" Fu Shihan looked down at her, his eyes tender and doting.

"I’m thinking about the photo you took from ." Su Wanxin pouted. "I want it."
