Su Wanxin staggered behind Fu Shiyi, never once considering breaking free. When Fu Shihan saw her compliant deanor, he intercepted her as Fu Shiyi approached him.

"Brother?!" Fu Shiyi looked at Fu Shihan. "Get out of the way!"

After Fu Shiyi had returned ho from his flight, he had learned that Su Wanxin had co back. She had specifically co over tonight to find Fu Shihan; firstly, for work matters, and secondly, for Su Wanxin.

"Shi Li, send her back."

Fu Shihan glanced at the wine stain on Su Wanxin’s chest and frowned slightly.

The glass of wine Shen Xiaochen had spilled was now all over Su Wanxin’s clothes, revealing the contours of her chest, and by now, quite a few lecherous n were sneaking peeks.

"She can’t leave!" Fu Shiyi, seething with anger, gripped Su Wanxin’s hand tightly. "I still have questions for her!"

Fu Shihan gave her a cold look, causing the furious Fu Shiyi to falter slightly.

Few, whether it be family or outsiders, were unafraid of Fu Shihan, and Fu Shiyi was no exception.

Seeing the situation, Fu Shili took Su Wanxin away from Fu Shiyi’s grasp. Knowing that Fu Shihan was helping her, Su Wanxin bowed her head and followed Fu Shili away, remaining silent and looking out the window after getting into the car, without uttering a word.

Fu Shili drove for a while and then glanced at her, asking, "Don’t you have anything to say?"

"... Yeah."

"Nothing you want to explain?"

"What do you think I should explain?" Su Wanxin laughed bitterly. "Explain that the car accident wasn’t my fault?"

"You should know that as long as you say so, we will believe you."

Hearing this, Su Wanxin felt her eyes well up, nearly breaking into tears.

She bit her lip, steadied her emotions, and said, "Second Master, there are so things you can lie to others about but not to yourself. The car accident three years ago is a ss in my life that I can never clean up."

Fu Shili glanced at her again and didn’t ask any more questions.

He knew Su Wanxin well enough to know her character. So things she wouldn’t say, and no amount of pressuring could make her, not even Fu Shihan could do anything about it.

Su Wanxin was dropped off ho by Fu Shili. She pushed the door open and walked in to find Mu Suyu watching TV in the living room. She was startled by Su Wanxin’s disheveled appearance.

"Wanwan, what happened to you?" Mu Suyu rushed over and hugged her. "Who bullied you?!"

"It’s nothing." Su Wanxin gave her a smile and patted her on the head. "I’m going to take a shower, we can talk afterwards."

Su Wanxin entered the bathroom, shed her dirty shirt and bra without a second thought, throwing them into the trash without intending to wear them again.

She stayed in the bathroom for a long ti, spending over an hour before slowly erging, utterly exhausted, and slumping onto the sofa.

"I t with the rest of the Fu Family today." With Mu Suyu, she watched the television and murmured.

"Did they bully you?"

"No." Su Wanxin gave a bitter smile. If Fu Shiyi had been rciless and hit her today, she would have felt better, but alas... "They couldn’t bear to."

Thinking back to the scene where Fu Shiyi had hit Shen Xiaochen to vent her anger, Su Wanxin couldn’t help but sigh. Shen Xiaochen, no matter how hard she racked her brains, couldn’t have expected to end her evening like this, right?

After Shen Xiaochen was hit by Fu Shiyi, she beca the center of attention. She looked at Su Wanxin helplessly as she was led away by Fu Shili, covering her hot and painful cheek, tears brimming in her eyes as she looked at Fu Shihan, aggrieved.

Fu Shihan sensed her gaze and approached her. Just as she wanted to start to whimper and throw herself into his arms, he patted her shoulder, comforting —

"Shall Shi Yi take you ho?"

Shen Xiaochen: ...

Do you think I haven’t been hit enough?
