Su Wanxin had not contacted him since the day she left on a business trip, leaving him hanging for almost three days.

She had a flight to the Imperial Capital at one in the morning, and before boarding, she called Fu Shihan.

In the conference room, Fu Shihan was in a eting. Suddenly, his cell phone vibrated, and the screen clearly displayed three words: Little Ancestor. He imdiately stood up and went out to take the call.

"I’m heading back tonight, will you have ti to pick up from the airport?"

Su Wanxin’s voice through the receiver was clear and cold. After hearing it, Fu Shihan asked for her flight number, then replied, "I’ll co to pick you up."

"See you at the airport, hanging up now."

After Su Wanxin finished speaking, she hung up. Fu Shihan went back to finish the eting, didn’t go ho after work, and instead went straight from the company to the airport when it was about ti to pick up his ’ancestor’.

At one in the morning, the plane landed on ti. About twenty minutes later, Su Wanxin appeared in the parking lot and got into his car.

From the mont Fu Shihan saw her, he was observing her expressions, but Su Wanxin’s face remained indifferent, showing no particular emotion.

It seed like she was angry, yet also like she wasn’t angry.

"Why are you staring at ? Drive." Su Wanxin buckled her seatbelt, turned her head to look him in the eyes. "It’s already half past one, by the ti we get ho it’ll be almost three, and I still need to sleep."

Hearing this, Fu Shihan started the car. The car slowly left the airport and then sped up, rushing towards ho.

Su Wanxin was a bit worn out from the flight, feeling a headache, and was listless and not in the mood to talk on the road.

Seeing her silent and frowning, Fu Shihan thought she was angry with him, and didn’t dare to provoke her easily.

This was their first eting since he had been involved in a scandal. The car was on the elevated bridge when, Fu Shihan finally reached out to grasp her cold fingertips and turned the temperature inside the car up a bit more.

The temperature difference between Imperial Capital and Hong Kong was quite significant, and Su Wanxin vaguely felt like she might be catching a cold.

She closed her eyes to rest for a while, then lazily opened them and slightly turned her head to look at Fu Shihan.

Fu Shihan felt her gaze, turned back, and asked with a bitter smile, "What’s the matter?"

"What do you think?"

"..."

There aren’t many people who could leave Fu Shihan at a loss for words, and she was definitely at the top of the list.

Su Wanxin pulled her coat tighter around herself, huffed, and turned her head to look at the scenery outside the window, nonchalantly asking him, "Do you like internet-famous faces?"

Her sarcastic tone made Fu Shihan laugh. He cleared his throat and answered, "No, I like the kind like you."

Su Wanxin pursed her lips, hearing him say further, "I’m really innocent."

Normally, Fu Shihan wouldn’t bother explaining himself to anyone, but when it ca to her, he was afraid no amount of explanation would be enough.

"It’s just that I was on a business trip, took a nap. Got woken up early in the morning by a call, and when I saw that photo, I didn’t even recognize the woman in it until I heard her na."

He looked at her with a sense of grievance, his mood complicated, "Do you think my taste is that bad? Besides, I am soone with a fiancée, I wouldn’t do such a thing."

Su Wanxin raised an eyebrow, not understanding how her status had switched from girlfriend to fiancée, so she spoke up to correct his inaccurate wording.

"Not fiancée?" Fu Shihan looked a bit surprised, clearly pretending. "Then what’s the deal with this ring?"

Su Wanxin pursed her lips, and he asked further, "You tell , was this ring given by to you, or from you to ? Surely it wasn’t you who proposed to before, was it?"
