Lu Ci was here for a social engagent today as well, and was just about to leave when he unexpectedly bumped into her.
Thinking about Fu Shihan’s current situation, Lu Ci took steps toward the private room where Su Yao was.
Inside the room, the sll of alcohol was overpowering.
Lu Ci knocked twice on the door before pushing it open, causing everyone inside to instinctively pause.
He scanned over the several people by the table, then his gaze landed on Su Yao’s face. The girl clearly had too much to drink; her complexion was off, yet she was still going at it.
With the Su Family being so prominent and wealthy, did she really need to push herself so hard?
"Yo, President Lu! Hurry, hurry, get President Lu a chair!"
Soone recognized him and imdiately spoke up, fawning over this Crown Prince.
In the Imperial Capital, who wouldn’t know about the influence of the Fu, Lu, Huo, and Zheng families? Especially since the Lu and Fu families were the closest allies, and Lu Ci’s relationship with Fu Shihan was not sothing ordinary people could compare with.
Su Yao looked up at his arrival, a bit surprised, furrowing her brows.

The crowd exchanged glances; who would dare to object? So they nodded in succession, agreeing with smiles.
"So, President Lu, you know Lawyer Su! Do you know about Lawyer Su’s relationship with President Su of the Su Family? Look at these sisters; they really do look alike! The first ti I saw her, I thought President Su had changed her career!"
"Do they look that much alike?" Lu Ci turned and looked squarely at her; indeed, the first ti he saw her, he was startled because he didn’t expect Su Wanxin to have a twin sister.
But upon seeing her again, he thought they were fine, each with their distinct features.
"Not really alike?" The person who had asked hesitated, looking at Su Yao with uncertainty.
"Not very." Lu Ci responded flatly, and after so more awkward small talk, he took Su Yao away.
Leaving the private room, Su Yao kept her distance from him, not forgetting what Fu Shihan had previously said to her.
"What do you want with ?" She looked at Lu Ci warily and said, "To sue soone? Let tell you, I’m not taking on your case."
Lu Ci: "..."
"You can still tell about your troubles if you like. It’d make happy."
"Do you really enjoy Schadenfreude that much, Lawyer Su?"
"Pretty much." Su Yao earnestly replied, "Mainly because you’re close with Shihan, so when you guys are unlucky, I’m really happy."
In the end, it was still because of Fu Shihan’s involvent; Lu Ci felt wronged but that was pointless.
Su Yao, having had quite a bit to drink, was barely able to walk in a straight line. She had intended to call a substitute driver to take her ho when Lu Ci said, "Co on, I’ll take you."
"Don’t, I don’t need your ride!" Su Yao quickly shook her head, shaking so much that she nearly made herself dizzy. "Stay away from !"
Lu Ci: "???"
Why was this girl so hostile towards him?
"Unwarranted kindness is either plotting or thievery. Why would you offer a ride?"
Lu Ci: "It’s on the way... I am going to see Fu Shihan. Don’t you live next door to him?"
"Oh." Su Yao nodded her head, "That makes sense, let’s go."
Her mood shifted quickly, and Lu Ci swiftly caught the car keys she tossed over. Following behind her with a wry smile, he started her car to take her ho.
Once Su Yao got into the car, she rubbed her neck tiredly and then turned to look at him, "Aren’t my sister and I really alike? Why did you say we’re not very alike?"
"Because indeed there are differences."
"Huh?" Su Yao was puzzled, "In the Empire, no one can tell us apart!"
"Miss, foreigners often have face blindness when it cos to us; you must know that, right?"
