Su Wanxin and Su Yaoyi arrived together, and the mont they appeared, they instantly attracted frequent side glances.

Everyone was confused and couldn’t understand what was going on.

During Su Yao’s ti in the Imperial Capital, she had only t a very small number of people. She spent most of her ti busy at the law firm, intentionally keeping a low profile.

Thus, even though so people had seen her and there were rumors ntioning a lawyer who resembled Su Wanxin recently erged in the legal field, it didn’t catch everyone’s attention.

But now, when they saw what this supposed resemblance was, they couldn’t help but be stunned, and whispers filled the air.

At first glance, the two were obviously sisters. Wasn’t it said that Su Wanxin was an orphan? Could it be that both sisters were orphans and had been adopted?

After Su Yao arrived, she went to et with the higher-ups of Ruida; many people from the headquarters of Ruida Empire also ca today, including several prominent figures in the legal field, all showing up to support the Hua Country branch.

Those people had t Su Wanxin before and weren’t surprised; she greeted them with a smile and didn’t disturb their serious discussions, taking Yangyang aside to find sothing to eat.

Ti slowly passed, and as more people arrived, Su Wanxin felt many peculiar glances directed at her, but she didn’t mind and just followed behind Yangyang with a gentle smile.

"Ah!"

Suddenly, Yangyang stopped running forward, looking in a certain direction with surprised eyes. Then he turned back to look at Su Wanxin, tugging at the hem of her clothes.

"What’s wrong?" Su Wanxin had been looking down at him and didn’t notice what he saw, so she squatted down to face him. "Do you need to go to the restroom?"

"Mommy, grandma!"

Yangyang pointed in the direction he was just looking and whispered to Su Wanxin.

Upon hearing this, Su Wanxin stiffened and reflexively looked up.

In the crowd, there was a person who caught the eye.

She was different from ordinary people because she was sitting in a wheelchair, her mobility restricted.

The first glance Su Wanxin took, her eyes fell on the wheelchair, her gaze slowly moved up from the severed legs, finally eting the eyes of that person.

It was a beautiful woman with a cold deanor which made her seem distant and hard to approach.

The first impression Su Wanxin had of her was strength. Even though she was in a wheelchair, she did not give off the impression of being weak.

The second impression was sadness. The sadness that instantly flooded from her heart perated her limbs and caught her off guard, making her eyes red before she could take a closer look.

Su Wanxin didn’t know what was wrong with her, her heart filled with a complex mix of bitter emotions.

A lump ford in her throat; she opened her mouth slightly, pained breaths escaped her lips, then she slowly averted her gaze, no longer daring to look at that person.

"Mommy, why are you crying?" Seeing her tears, Yangyang hastily hugged her, "Mommy, don’t cry!""

"It’s nothing." Su Wanxin spoke softly, comforting him, "Sothing got in my eye, it hurts a bit."

Her eyes hurt, her heart ached, her whole body was in pain.

Yangyang called that person grandma, which ant... she was Fu Shihan’s mother.

Su Wanxin thought about the rumors that her own legs were severed by herself, and she began to feel uneasy.

Even if Shihan told her it had nothing to do with her, he also admitted that he didn’t understand the specifics.

So, in Su Wanxin’s eyes, he was simply speaking in her favor without evidence. He had no proof, but he believed her.
