Su Wanxin hadn’t spoken to Fu Shihan for five whole days.

Every day, they would see each other twice, once in the morning when they left for work, and again in the evening when they returned ho.

It was on the small path in front of the villa that they would exchange glances before brushing past each other.

After enduring five days like this, Fu Shihan beca increasingly irritable and finally, on the day of the Fu Group’s annual eting, he couldn’t bear it any longer.

"Go, invite over President Su from the Su Family."

He commanded coldly while sitting in his chair.

Lin Rui, who was standing by his side, always felt what he really wanted to say was: Go and tie up Su Wanxin and bring her here.

Lin Rui moved his lips to remind him, "Brother Han, we have to go to the hotel for the annual eting soon."

"Then bring the person ... invite the person to the hotel."

Lin Rui: ...

See, he knew he hadn’t guessed wrong.

Fu Shihan was in a foul mood, and his behavior was no better. He glared at Lin Rui nacingly as if he would beat him if he didn’t go, which scared Lin Rui into running off without another word.

The Su Family.

Su Wanxin looked at the unfamiliar man in front of her, who was smiling sycophantically, and rubbed her temples with a headache.

"What did you just say? Repeat it."

Lin Rui chuckled: "Goddess, Brother Han asked to pick you up for the annual eting!"

"What annual eting?"

Lin Rui: "Our company’s annual eting!"

"Who’s with your ’ours’?"

Lin Rui: "..."

"It’s your company’s business, I’m not involved. Help deliver a ssage to President Fu, just say thanks, but I’m busy, don’t have ti, and won’t be attending."

Lin Rui was in a difficult position: "Brother Han said the person must be brought there. Even if it’s..."

"Even if it’s what? You dare to tie up?" Su Wanxin looked at his reaction incredulously, thinking he might actually an it.

Lin Rui smiled awkwardly: "Brother Han said, even if we have to tie you up, we still have to bring you there. Goddess, it’s also not good for to be rough with you, so why don’t we just head over and stay awhile? Think of it as going out for a al, okay?"

"Is President Fu’s al that delicious?" Su Wanxin certainly didn’t think so.

But she had no choice. If she didn’t go, she would be taken by force. Fu Shihan had no sha, so how much sha could his subordinates have?

With this thought, Su Wanxin sensibly got up, not wanting to draw too much attention.

Lin Rui hadn’t seen her for a year and couldn’t help but take a few more glances while driving.

Su Wanxin kept her face cold, not showing him any good will, but it still didn’t affect Lin Rui’s mood.

Finally, Su Wanxin couldn’t stand it anymore: "What are you grinning about?"

"Happy to see you~" Lin Rui’s mouth curled up: "Wan God, you are much stronger when you’re healthy. Brother Han was almost worried sick over your poor health before!"

Su Wanxin frowned slightly, but Lin Rui didn’t notice and kept talking.

"We all suspected that if you didn’t get better, he was probably going to send us to beco lab rats and experint with making dicine for you!"

"Stop talking, it gives a headache."

Su Wanxin turned to look out the window, sighing deeply, her head about to explode.

The car slowly made its way to the destination.

Su Wanxin followed Lin Rui into the venue, and upon making an appearance, she drew many sidelong glances.

Her attendance at the Fu Group’s annual eting was, to put it mildly, utterly unreasonable.

Not to ntion everyone else finding it strange, even she as the person involved wanted to complain.

Lin Rui arranged a good seat for her, especially at the front, next to the table where Fu Shihan would be seated.

Su Wanxin slumped into the chair, resigned to her fate and facing it calmly.

The Fu Family’s annual eting was a grand affair, held at the company’s own hotel.
