Lu Ci initially thought Shihan was joking, feeding him ’dog food’ again.
But then one day, Lu Ci discovered that he really had forgotten.
That day, Lu Ci called him to ask if Wanwan had woken up and when she would be discharged from the hospital.
Then he heard Fu Shihan asking back, "Who’s Wanwan?"
At that mont, Lu Ci felt as though a bucket of ice water had been poured over his head, utterly chilling him to the core.
Throughout the year, whether it was Lu Ci or other friends who knew Fu Shihan and Su Wanxin’s real relationship, they would talk about Su Wanxin whenever they got the chance.
But he was always disinterested.
That’s just how he was; if he liked soone, no bad talk could change his mind. If he didn’t like soone, even excessive praise from others wouldn’t make him care.
Even though others told him that he and Su Wanxin had grown up together and that he loved Su Wanxin imnsely,
having not seen her and not rembering those events, he was indifferent as if he was listening to jokes.
Even when others were looking for Su Wanxin, he made no moves. He neither helped nor hindered.
Lu Ci once thought he was crazy, but later realized that apart from not rembering Su Wanxin, he was normal in every other way.
Still the sa venomous and ruthless businessman.
After talking with Fu Shihan for a while, Lu Ci went to chat up Su Wanxin.
Knowing about Su Wanxin’s amnesia, he introduced himself as a friend of Fu Shihan.
Turns out, he shouldn’t have ntioned that; once he did, Su Wanxin imdiately beca guarded, as if she were protecting herself from a thief.
Lu Ci couldn’t help but cry and laugh, explaining, "I’m not the sa as Fu Shihan."
"How are you not the sa? Birds of a feather flock together."
"It’s really not the sa." Lu Ci seriously defended, "I’m a good person; he often isn’t."
Su Wanxin, hearing this, felt like laughing but held it in. She sneaked a glance toward Fu Shihan and asked, "Does he know you talk about him like this?"
"Isn’t this a well-known fact? I don’t expect Fu Shihan to be a good person; him being a person at all would suffice."
This ti, Su Wanxin couldn’t hold back and twirled her lips into a smile.
Fu Shihan, inadvertently turning his head, saw her smiling like a blooming flower in front of Lu Ci.
He realized, she could laugh in front of anyone, except him.
He walked over quickly, interrupting their conversation, and coldly told Su Wanxin while giving her a chill glare, "Your smile is unpleasant, stop smiling."
Su Wanxin: "???"
Lu Ci: "..."
Brother, you brought this on yourself; don’t drag into this.
Su Wanxin, annoyed, glared at him and turned away. Lu Ci sighed heavily, patted Fu Shihan’s shoulder, and remarked, "Idiot."
"Stinking idiot." Fu Shihan retorted, "Don’t tease her in the future."
"Am I not helping you by coaxing her, and you still curse at ?"
Fu Shihan irritably replied, "Tease her again, and it won’t be as simple as cursing you."
Lu Ci: "..."
Damn it, are you afraid I’ll steal her from you?
Lu Ci, daring not to speak out in anger, knew that since childhood no one could beat Fu Shihan, so he had to cower when necessary.
After staying for a while, he planned to leave.
Fu Shihan walked him downstairs, just in ti to see Su Yao arriving by car to pick up Su Wanxin, waiting outside.
When Lu Ci saw Su Yao, he was dumbfounded. Fu Shihan saw this and encouraged, "Go flirt with this one."
"What the hell? Who’s this?"
"Su Yao."
Lu Ci: "She and Su Wanxin?"
"Yeah, they look sowhat alike."
This was no longer a matter of just looking ’sowhat alike’ — from a distance, they looked exactly like the sa person.
