Fu Shihan sat at his desk, his expression cold as he watched the screen of the computer, occasionally looking down at the docunts on the table and jotting sothing down with a pen.
Out of the corner of his eye, he caught a glimpse of a figure at the door.
When he turned his head, he saw Su Wanxin leaning against the door fra, holding a small bowl of washed cherries, eating and watching him, uncertain of when she had started.
She t Fu Shihan’s gaze across the space, startled for a mont, and with a touch of embarrassnt, thought about turning away. Unexpectedly, she saw Fu Shihan tilt his head, signalling her to co over.
Su Wanxin frowned and shook her head, but Fu Shihan turned the computer screen towards her. The image on this side was blocked, only allowing them to see the other party, while the other party couldn’t see them.
Hesitantly, she walked over and let Fu Shihan pull her to sit down, curious to see the docunts on the table. Only then she realized that the docunts were also in German, which she couldn’t understand.
"Don’t eat too much, it’s easy to get stomach aches when you sleep at night."
Fu Shihan whispered a word of caution in her ear and held her in his arms, continuing to work. Another half an hour passed before he completely shut off the computer.
"Zhang Hanyu just sent a ssage, saying he has negotiated the acquisition with Shen Wenguang. Later, contact him and ask when to sign the contract, go and join in the bustle."
"I don’t want to go. I hate Old Man Shen," Su Wanxin shook her head in refusal.
"That’s precisely because you hate him that you should go. When I promised to help Zhang Hanyu, the condition was to have 30% control of the shares."
"30? That much?"
The ST and Bai Ran Group were reorganizing and rging; two companies becoming one. With nurous shareholders and dispersed stock rights, 30% control in that context should count as the most.
"Yes. I’ve already told Zhang Hanyu that I’ve transferred the shares to you. Just show up, that’s enough—consider it watching the Shen Family’s joke."
Shen Wenguang had once co to the Su Family to strike at Su Wanxin’s face in order to support his daughter. Shen Xiaochen had always been causing trouble for Su Wanxin, both overtly and covertly.
Fu Shihan had always rembered these incidents.
Others say that he is vengeful, but he sotis thinks he can be quite rciful. However, so grudges must be rembered, and they must be avenged.
The Shen Family had always seen Su Wanxin as a thorn in their side, but now that their company was acquired, Su Wanxin had beco the number one shareholder stepping on their heads.
See, the world of capitalism is just so amusing.
Fu Shihan took over the company at a young age and hadn’t grown weary of the endless busywork over the years, partly because he saw it all as a ga.
There were players, stakes, wins and losses.
Su Wanxin felt warmth in her heart, knowing he was helping her step back at the Shen Family. But if she rembered correctly, wasn’t their relationship still very tense when he first made the agreent with Zhang Hanyu?
Back when she had just returned, every ti she saw him, it felt like he wanted to wring her neck with ferocity. But at that sa ti, he had already started thinking about how to help her against the Shen Family?
"Since when did you start to feel... that I might have been wronged?"
Su Wanxin asked hesitantly after a mont of silence. Because even now, there was no concrete evidence to prove her innocence.
"Helping like this, aren’t you afraid of assisting an ingrate, one who would just cause you trouble later?"
Fu Shihan’s gaze was profound, and after a mont’s thought, he said, "In these three years, worry and anger have occupied most of the ti."
Worrying about her whereabouts and situation.
Angry about her abandonnt and disappearance.
