Li Mo watched with wide eyes as Fu Shihan left, taking her precious grandson with him. If she weren’t confined to a wheelchair, inconveniently immobilized by her legs, she would have chased after him to give him a piece of her mind!

In the dining room, Fu Shili watched from a distance the scene unfolding in the living room, a flicker of amusent in his eyes.

He walked over to Li Mo and handed her the glass of water in his hand.

"Take a sip of water, calm down a bit."

"Do you want to anger to death, is that it?"

Li Mo glared at him and took a big gulp from the glass.

"You know full well how stubborn my brother is. Clashing head-on with him benefits no one. If he says you can’t see Su Wanxin, then you won’t get to see her."

As Fu Shili said this, he glanced at the troubled butler who was at a loss as to what to do, and gave him a aningful look.

"Uncle Qi, you can go back to your room to rest. You’re off the hook for now."

"Eh, alright!"

The butler nodded hastily and hurried away.

Li Mo clutched the water glass tightly, with no doubts about what Fu Shili had said. After all, she knew the temperant of her own son like the back of her hand.

"The Sheng family issues are sothing big brother will surely resolve. Are you getting so mad it’s worth negating the efforts of those facial masks you do every night?"

"Get lost!"

"Okay."

The eldest son is disobedient, the younger tries to diate. What kind of creatures did she give birth to?!

Li Mo was left with a headache from all the anger.

...

Fu Shihan drove away with Yangyang. Starting the car, he glanced from the rearview mirror at the little figure sitting in the back seat and asked in a calm voice, "Didn’t you say you wouldn’t make Grandma mad?"

Yangyang pouted his lips, said nothing, and even sneakily glared at Fu Shihan, thinking his dad hadn’t seen it. It was nothing like the way he clung to legs at ho earlier.

Watching the little guy, who was both timid and tough, Fu Shihan’s mouth curved slightly upwards.

This child, really does resemble Su Wanxin.

As the car slowly traveled along the road, Yangyang, after holding back for quite so ti, finally couldn’t resist striking up a conversation with Fu Shihan.

"Dad, don’t you want and mom anymore?"

He asked in a small voice, head lowered, a tinge of fear and grievance in his words.

"I don’t want you to marry Aunt Qian."

The little guy was young, but his mind was incredibly sharp. Over the past few days at ho, he had overheard bits and pieces of the adults’ conversations and had figured out that the fierce Grandpa was Aunt Qian’s grandpa, and he wanted his dad to marry her.

But then, what about mom?

Yangyang wanted to see his mom, but nobody would take him to her, so he could only turn to his dad. He wouldn’t eat if he couldn’t see his dad, resolutely determined.

"Who told you that." Driving, Fu Shihan replied calmly, "Right now, it’s your mom who doesn’t want us."

"How can that be! Mom is so good! So aweso!"

"No need to flatter when the person’s not here."

"Dad, you can’t be like this." Yangyang was worried to no end. "Mom is so beautiful, lots of uncles will like her. You need to step it up!"

"Fine, you try." Fu Shihan was both amused and exasperated, "I will take you to see her now, and you can show how you ’step it up’."

Yangyang pursed his lips, huffed a sound.

Fine, see if I don’t make mom super happy!

When the father and son returned ho, Su Wanxin was cuddling with Mu Suyu, watching TV. Hearing the door open, they turned their heads to look.

"Mommy!"

"Yangyang!"

Both Yangyang and Mu Suyu called out each with a joyful smile on their faces.

Mu Suyu had missed the little tyke after several days without seeing him, so she quickly got up to greet him.

Then, she watched as Yangyang bypassed her, completely ignoring her, and dove straight into Su Wanxin’s arms.
