"Brother Shanshi, what are you doing standing here?" Su Wanxin walked out of the office, looking at him suspiciously.

"Nothing much." Chen Lei awkwardly smiled at her and asked, "Wanxin, it’s a holiday tomorrow, do you have any plans?"

Su Wanxin looked at him warily, and then firmly refused: "Don’t even think about making co in to work overti!"

Chen Lei: ...

"I didn’t ask you to work overti! Can’t I just ask? What’s wrong with caring about my subordinates?"

"You see, I hit the nail on the head and you got angry, right?" Su Wanxin smirked playfully, then turned her head and shouted back into the office. "Anyone who hasn’t left, hurry up. Brother Lei is here to catch people for overti!"

A chorus of groans erupted from the office, and then people rushed out like a pack of mad dogs. Taking advantage of the chaos, Su Wanxin slipped away too.

She quickly entered the elevator, the smile on her face gradually fading.

Honestly, she didn’t want to go ho.

If nothing unexpected happened, Fu Shihan would definitely co to see her tonight, but she didn’t really want to see him.

Leaving the company, Su Wanxin imdiately noticed Mu Xinghan standing by the roadside. Surprised, she walked over and casually accepted the candy he offered, teasing, "Aren’t you afraid of getting diabetes?"

"Life is short, what’s wrong with eating more sweets?" Mu Xinghan sat on his motorcycle carelessly, looking at her and asking, "What’s up with you today? I couldn’t get through to your phone."

"Ah?"

Su Wanxin was startled for a mont, pulled out her phone from her bag, and then her face darkened. She had set her phone to airplane mode before sleeping last night and forgot to switch it back this morning.

"Sorry, my brain was waterlogged." Su Wanxin switched her phone back to normal mode and asked him, "Did you co all the way here just to tell you couldn’t reach ?"

"Do you have ti tonight? Let’s have dinner together with Xiao Yu."

"Yo? You finally rembered you have a sister nad Xiao Yu? That’s rare." Su Wanxin smiled at him and reminded, "Dinner is fine, but you’re not allowed to scold her, got it?"

"Why do you talk so much?"

"I..."

Just as Su Wanxin began to speak, she saw the Maybach parked behind Mu Xinghan open its door. Fu Shihan, looking quite grim, strode towards her.

Fu Shihan had arrived half an hour earlier and had been waiting for her to get off work.

He knew Su Wanxin must have seen the news today and he had been thinking about how to explain it to her, how to appease her.

He thought she might get angry, may argue with him, or even possibly cry. However, he definitely did not expect to see such a scene.

She appeared completely unaffected, laughing and talking with another man at the company entrance. How long had it been since she smiled like that at him?

Fu Shihan felt a rage welling up inside him, almost drowning and obliterating all his rationale.

He walked straight up to Su Wanxin, grabbed her arm, and pulled her away from that man.

"President Fu." Su Wanxin’s expression was a bit stiff; she quickly moved aside to put distance between them. "Do you need sothing?"

"So this is President Fu." Mu Xinghan looked at the man before him, half smiling. "I’ve heard a lot about you, finally eting you."

Fu Shihan looked at him coldly, listening as he continued.

"President Fu is about to get married, right? What’s the fiancée’s na again? Sheng... Sheng Qian?"

"Fu Shihan, what are you trying to do?" Su Wanxin slightly panicked, blocked the man advancing towards her, and discerned his intentions. "This is in the middle of the street, have you gone mad?"
