Su Wanxin gazed at the helicopter on the empty grounds, her eyebrows tightly furrowed.

That was a EC145 model helicopter, a sight Su Wanxin was familiar with, because it was a birthday gift from Fu Shihan years ago.

He held her hand and walked over, and her struggle and refusal were useless; she was quickly forced to sit inside.

"Fu Shihan..." Su Wanxin looked down as he fastened her seatbelt and asked softly, "What exactly are you trying to do?"

Fu Shihan didn’t answer; he buckled the seatbelt tightly, making sure she couldn’t escape, then turned around and got on the plane from the other side.

Su Wanxin sat uneasily in her seat, clueless about where Fu Shihan intended to take her. Could it be that Yangyang wasn’t in this city? Had he sent the child sowhere else? To an orphanage?

After communicating with the staff on the other end of the headset for a few monts, Fu Shihan started the helicopter, quickly rising into the sky, circling over the city, taking in the entire view of this international tropolis.

Su Wanxin leaned her head against the window, her gaze wandering over the scenery below, over this city where she had lived for over a decade.

She could make out the outline of the city and its intricate network of streets, the brilliant lights and the bustling traffic, even the low old buildings and the crowds moving like ants on the streets.

After watching for quite a while, she turned her head to look at Fu Shihan, not understanding his intention.

"Yangyang is in this city."

Fu Shihan’s voice was cool and calm as he slowly gave Su Wanxin an answer.

"You’re playing ?!" Su Wanxin realized he had never intended to take her to see Yangyang, and couldn’t help feeling angered. "Imperial Capital is so big, how would I know where he is? Is this the way you’re taking to see where he lives?"

Compared to Su Wanxin’s annoyed frenzy, Fu Shihan was serene.

He focused on controlling the aircraft, a smile almost imperceptible on his lips, saying slowly, "Yes, I am playing you. What about it?"

His brief words infuriated Su Wanxin. She took a deep breath, silently telling herself to stay calm.

"So what if you are wealthy? Mr. Fu, I think we both utterly loathe each other, so let’s not entangle ourselves in this pointless strife. If you don’t want Yangyang’s custody, you can give it to . As long as I see the child, I promise to reduce my presence before you to zero. That would be good for both you and !"

"Being rich is indeed a big deal." Fu Shihan finally afforded her a glance. "I can spend money to clearly see every corner of this city."

"So what? It’s still..."

"That’s right." Fu Shihan interrupted her, continuing, "But even with all the money, I still can’t find you."

"..."

"Tell , where have you been hiding these past three years?"

Su Wanxin fell silent, suddenly understanding what he ant.

She had disappeared for three years, and he made her endure three rejections before he was willing to see her.

She mocked him that being rich wasn’t impressive, so he self-mockingly said he indeed was not impressive, otherwise how could he possibly not find her, his enemy, for three consecutive years.

He had been looking for her all along, never giving up.

A pang of pain squeezed Su Wanxin’s heart, she turned her face to hide her loss of composure, and chuckled.

"I didn’t hide, I just lived at the ho of soone I liked for three years and forgot to co back, that’s all."

"Soone you liked." Fu Shihan obviously didn’t believe her words. "Is it that man who didn’t even dare to speak when he saw ?"
