"Doctor Zhong, has no one ever told you that being a busybody is not a good habit?" Su Wanxin mocked, "Help ? With what exactly? What do I need your help with?"
"As a specialist in my field, I am a psychologist, and I..."
"In your eyes, do I look like soone who has psychological issues?"
Su Wanxin asked with a smile, causing Zhong Xian to montarily fall into a trance.
If it wasn’t for seeing with his own eyes what dication she took that day, Zhong Xian would never have suspected such a thing.
Facing Su Wanxin’s aggressive gaze, Zhong Xian couldn’t help but wonder if he had seen wrong that night. However, his many years of professional instinct reminded him that he had not made a mistake.
"From Miss Su’s perspective, are sleeping pills and antidepressants sothing that anyone can just take as they please?" Zhong Xian asked calmly in return, "The dosage you’re taking is too high, it’s dangerous. Once the dication is stopped, you..."
"I’ve never used any dication, Doctor Zhong, you saw wrong."
Su Wanxin clenched her teeth tightly to interrupt him, imdiately regretting it.
She should have avoided him when she saw him that night; then there wouldn’t be all these ensuing troubles. She had been too careless.
Su Wanxin sighed lightly, lowering her eyelids, no longer wanting to argue with him.
"I need to go ho to be with my children. Don’t co looking for again."
Not giving Zhong Xian another chance to say more, Su Wanxin turned and left. After interacting with her for a week, Zhong Xian had gotten to know her temperant and did not dare to easily chase after her and provoke her further.
But his heart still couldn’t let it go.
Did her family know about her taking the dication? The dose she took was so high, it was clearly a habit sustained over a long period.
Zhong Xian watched Su Wanxin’s retreating figure, getting farther and farther away, and heaved a deep sigh, unsure if he should continue to ddle in these affairs.
Su Wanxin drove ho, Yangyang had already been brought over by the bodyguard. He was sitting at the dining table with Mu Suyu, waiting to have dinner together after her return.
"Mommy, today we have delicious sweet and sour pork, you eat it!"
Yangyang pleasingly forked a piece of at into her bowl and after hearing her say "Thank you" and eat it, he nodded in satisfaction and said, "Very good."
"I am good indeed, but are you?" Su Wanxin glanced at the vegetables in front of him and said in a gentle voice, "If you don’t eat your vegetables, I won’t teach you chess tonight."
Yangyang pouted and looked at the unappetizing vegetables, staring alternately at them and Su Wanxin for quite a while before finally making up his mind and grudgingly finishing them all.
Su Wanxin held back her smile and finished dinner with him, then took him to the living room to play chess and coaxed him to sleep. All the hustle lasted till after nine at night.
After taking a bath, Su Wanxin ca to the living room drying her hair, poured a glass of water, and prepared to take her dication.
Mu Suyu ca out of the study just in ti to see this scene. She walked over to Su Wan, frowning and focusing on her actions, she asked, "Wanwan, do you need to take so many dicines now?"
"Yeah." Su Wanxin replied calmly, as if it was nothing out of the ordinary. "I’ve beco dependent on them, smaller doses are useless."
"But... taking too much isn’t good, right?"
"It’s fine as long as I can sleep," Su Wanxin said nonchalantly with a smile, rubbing her hair, reassuring, "Don’t worry."
Mu Suyu hesitated but said nothing more, dejectedly returning to the study.
She had been working hard recently, and Su Wanxin assud she was simply staying up late writing her novel, not paying much attention. After washing the fruits for her and reminding her to rest early as well, Su Wanxin then returned to her room to sleep.
