Mu Suyu followed behind her but couldn’t help herself.
"Wanwan, you went to the haunted house a few days ago... Are you okay?"
"I was carrying the amulet you gave , what could have possibly happened."
"That’s good... I was worried that you might get entangled by sothing unclean, and I wanted to co find you, but then I saw on the show that you seed fine, so I didn’t go out."
Ever since the car accident a few years ago, Su Wanxin’s health deteriorated to an extre, lacking even half the health of an ordinary person, relying solely on dicine to sustain her. Her spirit was also incomplete, which made her particularly susceptible to unclean entities.
Su Wanxin, with her back to her, feigned nonchalance with a forced smile and said lightly, "The unclean things have all gone after Lin Yifan, I didn’t see any."
She casually changed the subject and after cleaning up the clothes she had changed out of in the past few days, she entered the study and got busy for most of the day.
Wasting seven days on that lousy variety show made a significant dent in her account balance, causing Su Wanxin substantial heartache. She planned to pull a few all-nighters to recover the losses.
In the evening, Mu Suyu ordered takeout. When the doorbell rang, she couldn’t wait to open the door, only to be surprised to see a man dressed in the standard black suit of a movie bodyguard, leading a familiar little Little Budian.
"You are..." Mu Suyu looked down at him. "Wanwan’s son?"
"Hello, Auntie, my na is Yangyang. I’ve co to find Mommy," Yangyang looked up at her politely and said, "Daddy doesn’t want anymore, I have to live with Mommy."
After delivering the person, the bodyguard left imdiately, leaving behind a seven-star super luxurious boxed al set that Mu Suyu hadn’t had for a long ti.
Mu Suyu took Yangyang to the study and knocked on the door. Su Wanxin ca out and instantly saw Yangyang, smiling brightly like a little sun.
She was stunned in surprise, thinking that she wouldn’t see him again after the show ended, never expecting him to co here.
"Mommy!"
"Good boy."
Su Wanxin, with mixed emotions, patted his head, unsure of what ga Fu Shihan was playing. She asked Mu Suyu to take Yangyang to have dinner first, then took the opportunity to call Fu Shihan.
Fu Shihan was overseas and had just fallen asleep to adjust to the ti difference when he was awakened by the ringtone.
He grabbed the phone irritably but upon seeing Su Wanxin’s number, his anger faded and a sly smirk appeared on his lips.
"Sending Yangyang over, what are you trying to do?" The call connected, and Su Wanxin cut straight to the chase.
"He’s your son, if not you then who should take care of him?"
Fu Shihan’s voice carried a hint of sleepiness, and Su Wanxin paused for a mont, realizing he wasn’t in the country.
"He’s mine, not yours? Fu Shihan, I don’t have ti to take care of him, can we not joke using the child’s matter?"
"If you don’t have ti, make so. You’re not the only one who’s busy." Fu Shihan turned over tiredly, "Whether he’s my son or not, you and I know, outsiders don’t. Even if you take Yangyang to the company, no one would dare say he’s Fu Shihan’s son."
So he was sure that Su Wanxin couldn’t send Yangyang back, and because Yangyang was with her, she couldn’t just disappear all of a sudden.
"Take good care of our son, I’ll co to you when I return."
His words left Su Wanxin speechless with anger, and before she could think of any retort, Fu Shihan hung up the phone, cheerfully continuing his nap.
Angry but with nowhere to vent, Su Wanxin slamd her phone onto the bed and headed to the dining room.
The table was already full of delicious food, and having washed his hands, Yangyang danced with joy upon seeing her.
