A series of sches, ultimately all aid at bringing down the Fu Family.

Jiang Cheng guessed as much and sighed inwardly.

They say money is good, but being wealthy is damn hard. You constantly have to guard against others trying to take you down.

After hanging up the phone, Fu Shihan leaned back in his chair and pondered for a long ti, a strange, subtle smile slowly forming on his lips.

All this ti and Fu Mingzhe’s two sons still haven’t shown up.

Think about it, their father was defeated by Fu Hongru, and now it’s their turn. It’s understandable that they want to save face.

But if their thods are just this, then it’s a bit disappointing.

Is killing oneself the end of it?

Have they overestimated themselves, or underestimated Fu Shili?

Fu Shili had been working at the Fu Group for years, and as the Vice President, though to outsiders he seed always overshadowed by Fu Shihan.

But Fu Shihan knew his brother’s capabilities very well.

He would be embarrassed to call himself cunning in front of Fu Shili.

The real sly one in the family was Old Second Fu, not him.

Following Fu Shihan’s instructions, Jiang Cheng investigated so matters over in the Empire, preparing to head to Canada.

But to his shock, while eating in a restaurant near the airport, he ran into soone he never should have t.

Cheng Yao had heard that Fu Shihan was in the Empire, and ca specifically to see him.

The mont she saw Jiang Cheng, she recognized him.

With a mouthful of pasta, Jiang Cheng locked eyes with Cheng Yao, while using his peripheral vision to size up the people around her.

Three n stood behind her, all typical tall Western figures.

Jiang Cheng put down his fork, grabbed a napkin and wiped his mouth, cursing inwardly.

Damn, just my luck, even having a al I encounter such a nauseating person.

When he entered the restaurant, he’d already scoped out the whole place, just in case sothing happened, he could get out quickly.

Cheng Yao stood in place for about half a minute, thinking that since they were facing each other, there was no point in avoiding it, so she simply walked towards Jiang Cheng.

Seeing her move, Jiang Cheng’s gaze darkened. When she sat directly across from him and smiled, it made him uncomfortable all over.

They say a girl who likes to smile is blessed. Jiang Cheng also liked seeing girls smile, especially beautiful ones, it was pleasing.

But now, he just had one thing to say to Cheng Yao—

What the hell are you smiling for? It’s giving goosebumps.

"Where’s President Fu?"

Cheng Yao wasn’t bothered by Jiang Cheng’s look of disgust and asked straight out.

"You think you can just see my Brother Han when you want?" Jiang Cheng sneered. "Who do you think you are?"

You think you’re Wan God, making one call and Fu Shihan would co running?

Cheng Yao’s smile froze slightly at his disdainful tone. A few seconds later, she asked again, "Where’s President Fu? He should be with you, right?"

She knew that ever since they started, both Su Wanxin and Fu Shihan always had people around to protect them.

Which frustrated her greatly, because without those pesky bodyguards, she would have taken care of Su Wanxin long ago.

"President Fu is working, you think he’s as idle as you?" Jiang Cheng glanced at Cheng Yao, and the three n behind her, asking, "What do you want with him?"
