??Chapter 134: He cares

Chapter 134: He cares

ng Fan was mortified, and her bad temper led her to bla everything on Rong Huaishen without regard for right or wrong, “It’s all because of you that I was harassed. If it weren’t for you, I wouldn’t have co here at all.”

Having had so drinks, Rong Huaishen’s face was slightly flushed, his deep and mysterious eyes especially bewitching. He looked at her calmly with those eyes for a while before asking, “You even follow the wrong person, and you bla

for that?”

ng Fan blustered, “It’s totally your fault, and, for the record, I did not follow you.”

“Not following ?” he asked her calmly.

ng Fan adamantly denied such an embarrassing act, repeating three tis in a row, “No! No! No!”

A sneer tugged at the corners of Rong Huaishen’s lips as he turned to leave.

ng Fan imdiately followed, “Did you know I was coming, so you let Shen Zhiyao leave?”

Rong Huaishen ignored her.

ng Fan insisted on getting a clear answer, chasing after his steps, “Rong Huaishen, don’t forget what you promised

that day. You said, we could put the divorce on the agenda!”

At the ntion of divorce, Rong Huaishen’s brows furrowed.

ng Fan did not notice this subtle expression, and continued to chatter nonstop, “Now that you have full control over the entire Rong family, doing as you please, commanding the winds and the rain, you simply do not need the ng Family’s support. After the divorce… after we divorce, you’ll be free, and so will I. Then, you can be openly together with her, right?”

Rong Huaishen’s frown deepened.

This ti ng Fan noticed, but in her eyes, it was because Rong Huaishen found her annoying and irritating.

Yet if she didn’t keep reminding him over and over again, he would just keep dragging his feet on the divorce!

Actually… had he not returned to the country to find his ‘white moonlight’, ng Fan felt she could still reluctantly stay with him, and muddle through life together.

But every ti he left her behind for Shen Zhiyao, instantly rushing over whenever Shen Zhiyao called, treating Shen Zhiyao as if she were more important than anything else, only turning to her when he needed sothing and pushing her limits, ng Fan felt incredibly irritated, which is why she always cursed him as a bastard.

He was truly despicable.

“Could you say sothing?” ng Fan urged him, feeling very annoyed.

Rong Huaishen stopped in his tracks, glanced at her sideways, “What do you want to hear from ?”

ng Fan stopped as well, looked up at him with a defiant expression, “Go ahead, ‘princess’, speak.”

Rong Huaishen calmly obliged, “Go ahead, ‘princess’, speak.”

ng Fan felt a bit better and continued, “Let’s be straightforward with each other and get a divorce. It’s for the best for you, so you can pursue your own love.”

Rong Huaishen asked her, “Is the ‘princess’ finished speaking?”

ng Fan let out a breath, though not much more refreshed, the stuffiness in her chest eased sowhat.

She nodded, “I’m done speaking, now give

an answer.”

“I can give you an answer,” he said.

A tremor ran through ng Fan’s heart, a strange surge of emotion rising within her. She thought she was about to hear him say— “Then let’s get a divorce.”

But what she actually heard was sothing else as he grasped her wrist, “Co with .”

ng Fan was confused, “Go where?”

Rong Huaishen didn’t say where, just led ng Fan by the hand in a different direction.

Initially, ng Fan didn’t realize the seriousness of the situation until Rong Huaishen dragged her into an empty private room and she saw with her own eyes as he locked the door.

“Rong Huaishen you dare—”

Only then did ng Fan realize what Rong Huaishen intended to do.

She was in a panic, struggling, but it was all in vain. Rong Huaishen was very strong, and his attitude even more assertive, as he threw her onto the sofa.

He was angry.

“I’m your husband; what wouldn’t I dare to do.” As he finished speaking, Rong Huaishen leaned over her, pinning ng Fan beneath him.

ng Fan loathed him, pushing against his chest with her hands, “You are not allowed to touch .”

Rong Huaishen restrained her flailing hands, “If I don’t touch you, who do you want to? So random man outside?”

“You jerk!”

“You don’t know

from yesterday.” His eyes grew darker.

“Bastard, don’t you dare kiss

with those lips that have kissed other won!”

“Which eye of yours saw

kissing other won?” Rong Huaishen raised his hand to grasp her chin, forcing her to look him in the eye.

ng Fan was taken aback.

It was just during that mont of distraction that Rong Huaishen took advantage of her.

ng Fan was almost humiliated to be pinned to the sofa by Rong Huaishen, having cursed at him with every insult she could think of.

Actually, ng Fan had always considered herself to have a sharp tongue, but when it ca to using it against Rong Huaishen, it felt like punching into cotton.

This was a high-end restaurant, with private booths that barely let any sound escape, even though ng Fan kept biting her lips the whole ti.

From eight to ten.

About two hours.

When ng Fan left the booth, she could barely walk steadily. Rong Huaishen tried to carry her, but she refused, warning him, “This is the last ti!”

Rong Huaishen wouldn’t allow her resistance and simply hoisted her up in his arms, “There is no last ti.”

ng Fan gritted her teeth in his embrace, “You’re going against a woman’s will.”

The reason Rong Huaishen threw at ng Fan made her blood boil, “This is marital affection.”

ng Fan: “Bastard, to hell with marital affection, we’re about to get divorced.”

This ti Rong Huaishen didn’t respond to her words, instead, he carried her downstairs, then made a call, asking soone to take care of the booth.

Her thoughts returning, ng Fan withdrew her hands from the dining table and crossed her arms instead.

She took a deep breath, pushing aside the events of last night in her mind, and looked at him with what she thought was a cool gaze, “Rong Huaishen, calm down and don’t lose control, because the secret I’m about to tell you will surely drive you mad!”

Rong Huaishen finished his breakfast, took a napkin to wipe his mouth, and said calmly, “Go ahead, I have to leave after you’re done.”

ng Fan waited, anticipating his loss of control.

She unlocked her phone, opened the photo, then pushed the phone towards him, “Take a look for yourself, but rember, it’s my phone, and you’re not allowed to smash it even if you get angry.”

Rong Huaishen glanced down at the photo displayed on the phone.

“Do you recognize the people in the photo?” ng Fan smirked with pride, “I think you don’t need to recognize them, do you? Just one look and you know who they are.”

Rong Huaishen looked and asked very calmly, “And then?”

ng Fan was stunned.

Was this his reaction?

No, that couldn’t be right.

He must be feigning composure, not wanting her to see him lose his cool, just holding it in.

“The photo is hot off the press; look carefully. Shen Zhiyao lives in your house, spending your money on her lover. You thought you were protecting her by setting her up in Harbor City, but in reality you were building a golden nest for their affair,” said ng Fan, baring her teeth.

In contrast, Rong Huaishen’s deanor remained unresponsive from the beginning to the end, the impact of the photo on him almost zero.

ng Fan pulled back her smirk, speaking with disbelief, “Even if you don’t believe her, don’t you need to call to question her? You trust her that much? Look at them in the photo, how intimate they are, they…”

She didn’t finish the sentence.

Rong Huaishen interrupted her with his indifferent tone, “What do you want to prove? That I care about you, or that I care about Shen Zhiyao?”

“I…” ng Fan was choked up.

All her words, swallowed back.

Would he care about her?

At this point, Rong Huaishen stood up. He was much taller than her, his calm gaze falling on her face as he asked, “Want to hear my answer?”
