24: Chapter 24 Blood Wolf

“Stop the rats!”

Daniel and his companions stood as if facing a formidable enemy, raising their firearms and firing without cease.

Bang bang~

One by one, rats were killed, but sadly, the number of rats was simply too overwhelming.

Soon, the deford rats broke through the blockade and rushed directly into the crowd.

After bursting in, these rats didn’t bite people imdiately but kept scurrying further in.

“Ah, rats!”

One student after another scread in terror, jumping up.

After the deford rats charged for a distance, they bit into the legs of students.

Accompanied by screams, one after another the students transford into Parasites, their eyes reddened as they lunged at their peers.

“Run, he’s been parasitized.”

“Ah, there are rats over here too.”

In an instant, the entire field was in disarray, with many panicked students running everywhere, occasionally colliding with each other, creating utter chaos.

Although Daniel and his companions desperately tried to kill Chilami and maintain order, it was in vain; everything had beco chaotic.

However, that wasn’t even the worst of it.

An increasing horde of Chilami Parasites flooded in from the school entrance, swarming toward them.

“It’s over!”

Chen Yi, his voice shaking slightly, said as he looked at the chaotic scene and the massive wave of oncoming Chilami Parasites.

Just then, a trendous roar ca from the sky.

Chen Yi and the others were startled and looked up, only to see several Iron Head chas descending from the sky, heavily landing on the open ground at the edge of the field.

Thud~

These Iron Head chas were significantly different from their training units.

They were uniformly equipped with the XS-01 type heavy Blast Machine Guns, Heavy tal chanical Blades, and portable flathrowers, with red wolf-paw-like insignias painted on their chests.

Then, a 10-ter-tall Second Generation cha, Iron Wing, covered in thick grey alloy armor with a pair of high-speed Jet Wings embedded on its back, equipped with a 30MM close-range cannon on its shoulder and wielding an Alloy Blade, landed in front of the many Iron Head chas.

“It’s the Thirteenth District Defense Army·Second Ace Heavy Equipnt Brigade·Blood Wolf; we’re saved!”

Many desperate students cried out with tears streaming down their faces.

At that mont, the Second Generation cha·Iron Wing raised its Alloy Blade towards the oncoming Parasites and commanded ruthlessly,

“First squad, intercept them!”

“Understood!”

Twenty Iron Heads imdiately followed the order, lining up in a row and simultaneously lifting their firearms to fire fiercely.

The approaching Chilami were shredded en masse under the heavy firepower, falling to pieces.

“Captain Han Le, what should we do about the field?

It’s all in disarray!”

Vice-captain Sima asked with a headache.

Han Le glanced over and quickly made a decision.

“Sima, lead your team to dismount from the chas and enter the crowd to kill the Parasites.

Resolve the disturbance as quickly as possible, and everyone else follow

to hold the periter of the crowd on the field, killing the incessant wave of rats.”

“Yes, Captain Han Le!”

Sima took the lead, opening the cockpit and leaping down.

Twenty Iron Heads followed suit, nimbly jumping out of their cockpits.

All of them were equipped with the First Generation chanical Exoskeleton Armor·Iron Shell; under normal circumstances, the Chilami Parasites could not hurt them.

Moreover, they had no choice; a cha was comparable to a steel beast, entirely unsuitable for combat in a crowd.

Just one miscontrolled attack could lead to untold casualties.

Quickly, Sima led his subordinates into the crowd, firing his beam gun at the Parasites while shouting loudly,

“Everyone, don’t panic, keep as much distance as possible, we’re here to save you!”

Teacher Chen Yi and others, as well as Guard Captain Daniel were also greatly encouraged.

They rushed into the crowd to help clear it, while constantly shouting out to the students to calm their emotions.

At that mont, Su Ming and two other people were operating training chas, escorting many students over.

When they saw the chaotic sports field, they too halted in their steps.

Mink, looking at the scene in front of him, also swallowed hard before saying to Su Ming,

“Su Ming, it’s just as you feared, sothing’s happened at the sports field!”

“Hmph, I just don’t understand—what you could see, Su Ming, how co they didn’t notice at all?

Are they all pigs?”

Chen Tong said, annoyed.

“Don’t say that.

Actually, the teachers are also helpless.

After all, they’re short-handed and they want to save most of the people, so they really had no choice but to gather everyone together for protection.”

Su Ming explained calmly.

After hearing what Su Ming had said, Chen Tong imdiately fell silent.

“So what do we do now?

How can we move forward and help in this chaos?”

Mink did not have any confidence in his own operating skills, worrying that he might accidentally hit an uninfected person, which would be really problematic.

Su Ming also found it difficult for a mont, as they obviously could not leave their chas and take to the field like those soldiers.

Clang!

Clang!

At that ti, Lin Chuyu, Teacher Tang Yan and others were operating training chas, escorting a group of students who had arrived.

Tang Yan, looking at the chaotic sports field, frowned deeply and said to Su Ming and the others,

“It’s too chaotic; you guys shouldn’t mix in.

We’ll entrust the students we’ve escorted to you.

Take good care of them.”

“Okay!”

Mink imdiately took the lead in responding.

“Lin Chuyu, co with

to the edge of the sports field to assist in the rescue!”

Tang Yan said to Lin Chuyu, then imdiately moved to the chaotic crowd in his cha.

Lin Chuyu drove her cha very carefully, following behind Tang Yan.

Su Ming and the other two stood still, watching Tang Yan and Lin Chuyu go to the rescue.

Tang Yan and Lin Chuyu quickly arrived at the edge of the sports field and were extrely tense.

At that mont, many students, seeing the rescue chas coming, ran over like drowning people seizing at straws.

Tang Yan and Lin Chuyu imdiately stopped in their tracks, continually looking around to see if any Parasites had mixed into the crowd.

If they spotted any, they would control the cha to reach out and grab them, then crush them.

Ti passed bit by bit, and the situation was gradually brought under control; most of the Parasites had been cleared out.

“Everybody, keep it up!”

Vice-Captain Sima, while killing a Chilami Parasite, continued to rally everyone.

Eventually, with everyone working together, the remaining Parasites were also dealt with, and the chaotic order was gradually restored to its original state.

“Phew, it’s finally over.”

Su Ming and others looked at the cald sports field, taking a long breath of relief.

However, just then, there was a sudden roar.

The right-side wall of the sports field was pushed over, and a large number of deford rats, as well as residual Parasites, sward in from the outside toward the school.

Team Leader Han Le’s expression changed slightly, and he promptly issued commands.

“Quick, follow

up to block them!”

“Yes!”

A series of Iron Head chas imdiately followed Team Leader Han Le, rushing towards the broken gap, firing vigorously at the invading Chilami.

Seeing this scene, Vice-Captain Sima imdiately shouted to his subordinates,

“Quick, back to the chas!”

They ran towards their chas.
