24: Chapter 24 Blood Wolf
“Stop the rats!”
Daniel and his companions stood as if facing a formidable enemy, raising their firearms and firing without cease.

One by one, rats were killed, but sadly, the number of rats was simply too overwhelming.
Soon, the deford rats broke through the blockade and rushed directly into the crowd.
After bursting in, these rats didn’t bite people imdiately but kept scurrying further in.

Chen Yi, his voice shaking slightly, said as he looked at the chaotic scene and the massive wave of oncoming Chilami Parasites.
Just then, a trendous roar ca from the sky.
Chen Yi and the others were startled and looked up, only to see several Iron Head chas descending from the sky, heavily landing on the open ground at the edge of the field.

These Iron Head chas were significantly different from their training units.
They were uniformly equipped with the XS-01 type heavy Blast Machine Guns, Heavy tal chanical Blades, and portable flathrowers, with red wolf-paw-like insignias painted on their chests.
Then, a 10-ter-tall Second Generation cha, Iron Wing, covered in thick grey alloy armor with a pair of high-speed Jet Wings embedded on its back, equipped with a 30MM close-range cannon on its shoulder and wielding an Alloy Blade, landed in front of the many Iron Head chas.
“It’s the Thirteenth District Defense Army·Second Ace Heavy Equipnt Brigade·Blood Wolf; we’re saved!”
Many desperate students cried out with tears streaming down their faces.
At that mont, the Second Generation cha·Iron Wing raised its Alloy Blade towards the oncoming Parasites and commanded ruthlessly,
“First squad, intercept them!”
“Understood!”
Twenty Iron Heads imdiately followed the order, lining up in a row and simultaneously lifting their firearms to fire fiercely.
The approaching Chilami were shredded en masse under the heavy firepower, falling to pieces.
“Captain Han Le, what should we do about the field?
It’s all in disarray!”
Vice-captain Sima asked with a headache.
Han Le glanced over and quickly made a decision.
“Sima, lead your team to dismount from the chas and enter the crowd to kill the Parasites.
Resolve the disturbance as quickly as possible, and everyone else follow
to hold the periter of the crowd on the field, killing the incessant wave of rats.”
“Yes, Captain Han Le!”
Sima took the lead, opening the cockpit and leaping down.
Twenty Iron Heads followed suit, nimbly jumping out of their cockpits.
All of them were equipped with the First Generation chanical Exoskeleton Armor·Iron Shell; under normal circumstances, the Chilami Parasites could not hurt them.
Moreover, they had no choice; a cha was comparable to a steel beast, entirely unsuitable for combat in a crowd.
Just one miscontrolled attack could lead to untold casualties.
Quickly, Sima led his subordinates into the crowd, firing his beam gun at the Parasites while shouting loudly,
“Everyone, don’t panic, keep as much distance as possible, we’re here to save you!”

Teacher Chen Yi and others, as well as Guard Captain Daniel were also greatly encouraged.

Tang Yan and Lin Chuyu imdiately stopped in their tracks, continually looking around to see if any Parasites had mixed into the crowd.

Vice-Captain Sima, while killing a Chilami Parasite, continued to rally everyone.

Su Ming and others looked at the cald sports field, taking a long breath of relief.
However, just then, there was a sudden roar.
The right-side wall of the sports field was pushed over, and a large number of deford rats, as well as residual Parasites, sward in from the outside toward the school.
