For a mont, she lost consciousness, unsure of where she was. It felt like a century had passed, yet only an instant, as a massive impact shook her body, making her organs seem to shift or shatter. She just felt a tallic taste in her throat, as if there was fresh blood, which she forcefully suppressed but couldn’t help but groan.

The plane bounced up from the violent collision, and after a few seconds, landed again and skidded a long distance accompanied by a series of explosions.

Her body stiffened, as if the whole world had left her, and only the feeling of the man holding her from behind was so clear, giving her a mont of peace amidst the turmoil.

Finally, the plane ca to a halt.

She couldn’t believe she was still alive, and the cockpit was silent until after a mont she heard the captain yelling, his voice hoarse and desperate: "Ergency evacuation! Ergency evacuation!"

Her body had already lost its strength, relying completely on him holding her, half-dragging and half-pulling her towards the escape route.

They, along with the captain and co-pilot, were the last few to disembark from the plane. Outside, there was a crowd, including fire trucks, ambulances, and even many news reporters.

The reporters surrounded the plane snapping pictures, interviewing survivors, but as soon as they saw them co out, almost all caras pointed at them.

"Captain! We heard you saved the plane!"

"Could you tell us how you managed to land the plane safely with the engine exploding and so many instrunt failures?"

"We heard from the ground control tower that two passengers helped you, was it these two?"

The constant barrage of questions made Su Xingyu’s head buzz painfully. She felt the impact still hadn’t worn off, her organs felt terrible, and the tallic taste in her throat lingered.

Lu Shifeng supported her with one hand, while his other hand waved away the cluster of reporters: "It wasn’t us, please move aside, there are injured people here!"

His voice, though weak, remained strong as always.

Only then did a reporter notice his back, "Oh, sir, your back...!"

Lu Shifeng’s back was soaked in blood, with a ticulously crafted white shirt stained red, unsure where the injury was.

Su Xingyu heard the reporters’ exclamations and suddenly turned to look at him, "Shifeng...!"

This was the first ti she called his na, dropping the surna, no more distant formality of Lu Shifeng, nor Mr. Lu, or any other derogatory terms. She urgently called his na, wanting to check his injuries, but he firmly shielded her in his embrace.

His voice, though weak, ca through deep and steady: "I’m fine."

She dared not argue further, fearing it would waste his strength, and cooperated with his steps, briskly walking towards the ambulance. dical staff imdiately ca over to support them, ushering both onto an ambulance.

Then they sped towards the hospital, full-body examination, treatnt...

Indeed, she had internal bruising, with a few ribs having minor fractures. The doctor handed her a hospitalization paper, instructing her to rest in bed.

Yet she held onto the doctor and asked, "How is Lu Shifeng?"

The doctor replied, "The one from Blade Group, Mr. Lu? He’s still in the operating room, Mr. Lu and several family mbers have already rushed over, waiting outside the operating room."

They were all there for him, while she was left in solitude, seemingly with no one caring.

However, she didn’t dwell on it. After all, they were his kin, and their injuries were indeed more serious than hers.

She thanked the doctor, took so pain dicine, and headed towards the direction of the operating room.

This was the hospital closest to the airport. Though everyone survived the plane landing, many were injured. The hospital was chaotic, with patients waiting for treatnt piled up even in the corridor, so there weren’t many doctors or nurses paying attention to her sneaking around.

She easily sneaked out of the ward area, locating the operating room.

The hallway door outside the operating room was tightly shut, with a large crowd of family mbers gathered - all relatives of the plane accident victims, anxiously awaiting the completion of their loved ones’ surgeries.

She walked to the corridor door and pushed it, unsurprisingly finding it locked.

A nearby relative advised her, "Young lady, don’t waste your effort, the hospital locked the door to the operating room to prevent too many family mbers from affecting the treatnt, no one can go in."

"Yeah, just wait outside," another family mber added.

Su Xingyu was very anxious, scanning the surroundings but didn’t see Mr. Lu or anyone from the Lu Family. She also didn’t know if they had gone in or if the surgery wasn’t happening here.

Just as she was pondering how to find them, she saw an elegantly dressed woman in a carefully tailored outfit rushing over, speaking briefly with the guard at the door, who then prepared to open the door for her.

"Who is she?"

"How can she break the rules?"

Other family mbers imdiately beca angry, asking questions. Frustrated while waiting for their relatives’ surgery results, the woman’s actions incited collective indignation.

Su Xingyu recognized the woman clearly: "Zhuang Heng!" She called out, taking a few steps to reach Zhuang Heng, "Is Lu Shifeng having surgery in there?"

Zhuang Heng cast a cold glance at her, "Why should I tell you?" and elegantly sidestepped directly into the corridor leading to the operating room.

Su Xingyu tried to follow her, but the guard slamd the door shut, nearly hitting Su Xingyu’s head. Not only that, he roughly pushed her away: "Back away, everyone, back away!"

Su Xingyu was unwilling and told the guard: "She’s going to see Lu Shifeng, right? I am too! Let in."

The guard looked askance at her, impatiently saying: "She was given special permission from above, and you? You’re not a little reporter, are you? These days, people are desperate to visit celebrities!"

"I am not a reporter!" Su Xingyu was anxious, "Look, I’m even wearing a patient’s gown!"

The guard still sneered, "Patient’s gown? These days, reporters can disguise as anything," then raised his voice to the aggrieved family mbers, "The one who just went in is Miss Zhuang from Zhuang’s Costics, Mr. Lu’s fiancée of Blade Group, she’s going to visit Mr. Lu! If any of you have such strong connections, I’d let you in too!"

The agitated crowd sowhat cald down, realizing that they were ordinary people, lacking such connections.

"Privileged people are sothing, how co they have special privileges?" so discontented family mbers groused.

However, another family mber in the crowd interjected, "I heard Mr. Lu is the reason the plane landed safely; he’s the hero who saved the entire plane, he deserves so privileges, right?"

The family crowd fell silent, and after a while, soone said, "If he truly saved my son’s life, not only would I give him this privilege, but I’d kneel and thank him too."

The agitated crowd cald down.

But Su Xingyu was still pacing anxiously outside the corridor; she wanted to go in directly too!
