"Hey, don’t touch that!"

She had just approached the cara, when Mr. Xu suddenly shouted while playing on his phone. He quickly pocketed his phone and rushed over, scolding, "I told you not to touch valuable things, didn’t you understand? Do you know how much this cara is worth? If you break it, you couldn’t afford to pay for it even if you sold yourself!"

Su Xingyu was entirely focused on the cara that resembled the Mu Family style, too absorbed to bicker with Mr. Xu. She only asked, "What kind of cara is that?" Ignoring Anna who was beside her, anxiously tugging at her sleeve, telling her not to ask.

"Oh, you’re persistent," Mr. Xu sneered dismissively, "Why ask? You couldn’t afford it anyway!"

"What’s happening?" Suddenly, a firm and restrained voice was heard.

The three people in the storeroom turned their heads in unison to see a man in a suit, sowhat lean, walking in step by step. His refined appearance carried an expression of perpetual restraint.

"Miss Xie."

"Miss Xie."

Mr. Xu and Anna called out, one after the other. Mr. Xu even displayed a fawning smile, rubbed his hands, and asked, "Miss Xie, what brings you here? It’s rare to see you in a place like the storeroom."

"I ca to find sothing for the BOSS," Xie Jian said casually, his eyes inadvertently glancing at Su Xingyu, "What happened here? Why did I hear you arguing as soon as I ca in?"

Su Xingyu hadn’t spoken yet, but Mr. Xu was quick to accuse, "It’s this newly recruited photographer, who doesn’t know better and was randomly touching things. You know this storeroom is an important place—if she breaks sothing, could she afford to pay for it? She should stay in Zone A choosing her cara and not stir up trouble here in Zone F. Caras here cost tens or hundreds of thousands—fortunately, I stopped her in ti to prevent a big mistake."

Mr. Xu complained and boasted, looking at Xie Jian flatteringly, seeking praise.

There’s the chief secretary beside the BOSS. If he curries favor with him, success won’t be far off!

But Xie Jian remained unchanged after hearing his complaint, turning to Su Xingyu, "Is there a cara you like here?" He wasn’t here to look for anything for the BOSS today. It was rare for him to visit the storeroom; he knew it was Su Xingyu’s first day at work and felt uneasy, stepping in on behalf of the BOSS to see how she was doing. Sure enough, a conflict had arisen.

Seeing it was him, Su Xingyu pointed at the cara again, asking, "What is that?"

Beside her, Anna was anxious enough to cry. Newcors are indeed reckless, fearless like newborn calves. Does she know who the man in front of her is? The chief secretary beside Lu Shifeng! With just a flick of his finger, he could crush her! In the entire Blade Group, who isn’t polite to Xie Jian when they see him? Yet here she was, speaking without courtesy!

Not even a respectful term!

It’s over; will Miss Xie rember Su Xingyu? Even hold a grudge against her as the companion? And then secretly revenge at so point...? The worried Anna had already imagined 1,080,000 words of dramatic nonsense.

anwhile, Xie Jian spoke calmly, "You an that one? The cara’s model is ’Shang’. It was designed more than a decade ago by Mr. Lu Anguo to commorate Mr. Mu Liancheng when the Mu Family Cara Company went bankrupt. At that ti, Blade Group acquired many of the Mu Family’s patent technologies for the cara. This cara integrates almost all the advantages of Mu Family caras, making its performance impressive back then. It was priced at 570,000, limited to 57 units, each with a number. It’s said to now fetch over fifty million on the black market."

"Over fifty million!" Anna couldn’t help but exclaim.

Anna looked up in awe at the seemingly unremarkable cara on the rack. Its dusty packaging box held a retro style that seed to carry a mysterious charm, making it impossible to look away. One wouldn’t have thought such a valuable cara was casually stored in Blade Group’s storeroom!

"Fifty... over fifty million..." Mr. Xu’s voice trembled slightly; it was known to him that caras in this section were worth tens or hundreds of thousands, but he hadn’t imagined there was a limited edition worth over fifty million! "But, why," he shakily asked, "since only 57 were released, and the market value is so high, why is this one still in the storeroom unsold?"

This was a question Anna and Su Xingyu wanted answered too, as they looked at Xie Jian, hoping he would provide insight.

Xie Jian didn’t disappoint them, "Blade Group keeps samples of each cara design, and this ’Shang’ is the last sample, not intended for sale."

Anna and Mr. Xu both sighed in realization, understanding that this cara was more than just a cara—it was a piece of history. Yet Su Xingyu’s gaze remained fixed on the cara with longing as its appearance, packaging paraters, use of patents, and historical significance evoked many mories for her.

"Xingyu, stop looking," Anna cautiously tugged at Su Xingyu’s clothes, "This isn’t sothing we can touch."

On the side, Xie Jian surprisingly asked, "Su Xingyu, do you want it?" He did not address her as Madam in front of outsiders.

Su Xingyu instinctively nodded, then ca to a realization with a bitter smile, "I have no way to have it right now."

—How does that sound like you’ll have the ans later! Mr. Xu internally mocked.

Unexpectedly, Xie Jian directly took the dust-covered cara box from the shelf and handed it to Su Xingyu, "If you want it, take it; this was initially designed by Mr. Lu Anguo to commorate Mr. Mu Liancheng—it’s quite fitting for you."

Su Xingyu looked at him in surprise, "Can I?"

Xie Jian respectfully responded, "Of course."

Although Blade Group stipulates retaining the last sample of each cara model, Su Xingyu is the BOSS’s wife, and having the cara with her isn’t much different from it being in Blade Group’s storeroom, as long as it doesn’t leave the group.

"Is this... inappropriate?" Considering the cara’s backstory, Mr. Xu couldn’t help but feel uneasy. How could such an important item be given away casually? If it got lost from his hands, he’d be responsible when the company investigates! Thus, despite the risk of offending Xie Jian, he plucked up the courage to speak, "Miss Xie, she’s just a newly recruited photographer; how could she take a fifty-so million, no, over fifty million unique piece? Even if she were to work for Blade Group for a lifeti, she couldn’t earn that much! This is against the rules!"

"Simply because she is the Mu Family’s last descendant, Mr. Mu Liancheng’s direct granddaughter—is that reason sufficient?" Xie Jian’s voice carried a slight coldness.

Mr. Mu Liancheng’s direct granddaughter...!!

Mr. Xu was astounded, instantly changing the way he looked at Su Xingyu.
