2. Obtain Rank 0 Crafter Class and evolve it to Rank 1 Artisan Machina.
3. Fully master Golemancer’s Apprentice Class to peak.

5. Successfully assemble a functioning automaton from scrap.
6. Control two golems simultaneously during an active task.
7. Inscribe a five-layer rune circuit onto a tallic construct.
...
I stared at the screen for a long mont. Then I read it all again.
"...this."
It took a while to process.
Honestly, none of the tasks looked impossible on their own.
But together?
That was sothing else.
I would say they were near impossible.
To get the Rank 1 Scrapwright Class, I had first need to evolve the chanic Class.
And evolution wasn’t simple.
Once a Class evolved, the base Class was consud.
Gone for good.
But here was the problem.
To get Rank 1 Artisan Machina Class, I needed to combine Rank 0 chanic with Rank 0 Crafter Class after maxing them out.
Which ant I would need to get the chanic Class again after it was already evolved.
I rubbed my forehead.
"That’s going to take a lot of effort."
Getting a Class again after evolving it wasn’t easy.
The System didn’t just hand them out twice without reason.
I would probably need to complete a [Quest].
Just the thought made groan.
And that was just the start.
The other tasks on the list weren’t much easier.
"Don’t worry, Lord of Shadows. The tasks are difficult, but with guiding you, they will be easy!" Yuna said, floating beside with her usual confidence. Her wings flickered faintly with light.
I gave her a small nod. "That’s reassuring."
I stretched my arms, staring at the glowing screen again.
"I should start working toward those Classes soon. But first..."
I reached into my Inventory Rune and pulled out a small, faintly glowing ring.
The Recollection Ring.
It was one of the rewards I had received after exorcising the Cursed Spirit, Area 51.
I hadn’t checked it properly yet.
"Let’s see what this thing does. Yuna, use Inspect on it," I said, holding it up.
"Understood, Lord of Shadows."
The ring was covered in a soft blue glow.
A mont later, another system window appeared before .
[Fallen Angel ’Yunael Seraphine Veyra’ has requested to share the result of her Inspect.]
"Yes," I said.
The screen changed, displaying the details.
...
Recollection Ring
Rank 3
Ability: Allows recovery of lost mories from up to one week in the past.
...
"This is a good reward," Yuna said after reading it.
I tilted my head. "How so? You’re always with , right? If I ever lose mories, can’t you just tell what happened?"
It was an innocent question on the surface, but it was also part of my act.
I had been acting like a grown up a bit too much recently, so I needed to balance that by acting like a child.
If she ever found out, reported to the System as an unregistered regression, the System might wipe my mories completely.
Yuna folded her arms. "It’s not that simple, Lord of Shadows. When a powerful ntalist or a Cursed Spirit erases soone’s mory, they also warp your perception."
I looked at her, pretending confusion. "Warp perception?"
"Yes," she said, nodding seriously. "They change how your mind interprets things.
"You might lose an entire day’s worth of mories and still think nothing happened.
"Even if I tried to tell you, your perception would reject my words. You wouldn’t even realize sothing was missing.
"This happened in the Cursed Spirit Area 51’s domain.
"Your perception was altered and you were made to think I was the deputy director," she explained.
"And this ring fixes that problem?" I asked.
"Yes," she said. "The Recollection Ring can restore what’s lost. Once you wear it, any erased mory from within the last week can be recovered instantly. The warping of perception will do nothing in this case."
"That’s... actually useful," I admitted, sliding the ring into my Inventory.
Even inside storage, it should still apply its passive effect.
I leaned back slightly.
"Alright. Then I’ll keep it there."
After that, I looked at the next task in my mind.
"Now, about the Binding Vow Cursed Item Security Guard..."
Yuna’s expression changed imdiately.
Her smile froze midair.
"...Lord of Shadows. Didn’t you say you were only keeping that for Spirit Stat training? What is this about making a Binding Vow with it?" she said carefully.
I shrugged a little.
"If I make a Binding Vow, I can tell it to use its ntal attacks on whenever I want. That way I can keep training my Spirit stat."
"That’s not the problem here!" she almost shouted.
Her voice was a mix of frustration and panic.
I raised a brow.
"Then what is?"
"It’s a dangerous Cursed Item! What will you even use it for? Anyone who looks at it will see it as a different kind of abomination. You can’t even take it as a guard or ally. It will just end up harming your own people!"
"All Cursed Items are dangerous. And for its appearance, I have a plan," I said.
"Why do you even need it then?" Yuna pressed.
"It will be a powerful guard for my new identity."
She blinked.
"New identity?"
"Yes. For the chanic class. I will need to find automatons and use them as materials. I already know a place. I need a new identity and a bodyguard for that."
Why was I so set on the chanic class?
Because it was broken.
chanics at higher ranks outmatched almost everyone in versatility.
A strong chanic could defeat an entire army alone.
Of course, the class needed ti, knowledge, resources, and effort.
It wasn’t sothing soone could take casually.
But I planned to take it anyway.
Effort? I always put in more than anyone.
Knowledge? If I claid to be the second most knowledgeable person, no one would dare claim first.
Ti? I starting training from the mont I left my mother’s womb. No one could say they gave more ti to the class than .
Resources? I had an angel who could enchant materials.
This was the perfect route to a powerful chanic class.
Yuna exhaled slowly.
"So how are you going to make the Cursed Item agree to a Binding Vow?"
"I’ll show you tomorrow."
Morning was close, so I went to sleep.
The next night, I activated Shadow Assimilation and slipped out of my room.
I moved across the estate, then vanished into the forest.
A few quick portals took deeper into the Alps.
When I reached a dense jungle area, I started drawing runes on the ground.
They were part of a huge rune array. One that would cover the entire Alps when completed. It would take about a week to finish.
Normally moving this much would have exhausted to death.
But I was a 6-star mage with the mana capacity of a 12-star mage now.
So it felt easier.
On the first day, Yuna kept asking questions.
She watched draw runes with a curious look.
On the second day, she continued nagging about the rune array’s information.
On the third day, she started recognizing the runes.
She squinted at the patterns like she had seen them sowhere before.
On the fourth day, she went quiet.
She didn’t look relaxed.
It was more like she realized sothing and hoped she was wrong.
On the fifth day, her expression turned firm. Like she didn’t like where this was going.
On the sixth day, she looked nervous.
She started pacing in the air, flapping her wings restlessly.
Finally, on the seventh day, she put all the pieces together.
Her face went pale.
"Stop! Stop! Why are you making this rune array, Lord of Shadows?!"
"It’s just a simple Positive Energy gathering array. I planned to bathe the Cursed Item in Positive Energy every day until it agreed—"
"What kind of plan is that?!" she yelled. She looked like she was ready to cry from stress. "Also, this is not a simple Positive Energy array! This is a God Summoning Rune Array!"
I nodded calmly.
Yuna stared at like I had grown another head.
"Why are you trying to summon a God? You said most Gods in your world are controlled by the major hidden Clans. If you forcefully summon one, the major Hidden Clans will co after you!"
"Yuna. Relax. I have a plan," I said, steady.
"What plan?"
"I will summon the God but send them back right away."
"That doesn’t change the fact you are going to break a God out of wherever they are made to stay and drag them here!"
Her wings flapped wildly.
She tugged at her own hair with tiny hands.
Her reaction was exaggerated, dramatic, and honestly a little funny.
Watching her panic, I felt sothing strange in my chest.
My soul felt like it was healing a little.
Because she was right.
It was insane.
Anyone hearing this plan would think I had lost my mind.
Summoning a God would shake the world.
Like always, this plan was suggested to by Carlotta in my last life when we needed a God and the major hidden Clans refused us.
I still rembered hearing her insane plan and thinking she had finally snapped.
They won’t give us a God, so let’s steal one?
The problem was my whole team back then was made up of lunatics like her. Not a single one was normal.
They all agreed it was a good plan.
It confused .
Was it really a brilliant plan?
For a long ti, I wondered if I was the strange one for thinking this was a dangerous plan.
Now, watching Yuna panic like this, I finally felt certain.
It really was a crazy plan, you psychos.
And now I was doing it again.
I sighed.
Maybe I really did belong with those lunatics.
