Chapter 34: 33 | Angel
Logan had run off back into Berryblast in the mont Winter had briefly looked away from him to open his car. He had just wanted one more drop of alcohol, and unexpectedly, he saw Adam and Blue inside the club!
And there was a sleazy-looking Alpha hanging around them. Logan quickly yelled without thinking, "Hey! What are you two doing here?"
Then he took giant steps towards them. Logan couldn’t tell, but Adam and Blue were looking at him as though he had lost his mind. It didn’t help that he actually looked like soone who had lost their mind.
His gray top was soaked and his shoes were not on his feet. His hair was also wet and disheveled. His eyes were hazy and unfocused. He was walking in a way that made one think the floors underneath his feet were hot.
"You...! Who are you?" Logan demanded from Leo, the Alpha who was standing between Blue and Adam.
Leo gave Logan a once-over with a disgusted look on his face.
"Get your filthy self out of this place. You’re disrupting the—"
"Are you okay?" Adam slid down from his stool to hold Logan up as the latter seed as though he was about to collapse right then.
"I’m fine. I j-just saw you here and-" Logan’s cheeks turned pink as he whispered to Adam, "You look pretty."
Blue rolled his eyes. Leo’s lips went up in disgust. Adam’s jaw dropped.
"You know this guy?" Leo asked Adam and Blue.
"Yeah..." Adam replied, holding onto Logan awkwardly. The guy was taller, broader, and stronger than him. It was unclear who was holding onto whom.
"This guy..." A new voice arose, and with it, the owner who had a dark expression on his face as he looked at Logan.
"Winter!" Adam exclaid, acknowledging Winter who had seen less than an hour ago.
Winter, realizing that Adam and Blue were the ones with Logan, contorted his expression into one of delight, suppressing the annoyance surging inside him.
"You can hand him over to . He’s a bit drunk so it’s not safe to-"
"No! Let
go!" Logan protested loudly as Winter reached to pull him out from Logan’s embrace.
The bartender on the other side frowned deeply. Logan was back again and causing trouble. If he wasn’t taken care of soon, he would have to step in and the bartender dreaded doing so.
"Don’t be a nuisance now. Co with
quietly." Winter tried to coax Logan, but Logan held onto Adam tightly.
His head was pressed up against Adam’s chest and his hands were tightly wrapped around Adam’s waist.
"I don’t want anybody else. I want to be with my angel." Logan demanded with a slight slur to his intonation.
The angel he was referring to was none other than Adam. Oddly, Adam wasn’t even pushing Logan away.
It was already dangerous for a drunk Alpha to be in the midst of Ogas. Now this drunk Alpha refused to leave a particular Oga and was holding onto him tightly with zero intent of letting go.
"Logan, stop it!" Winter rebuked his friend. It was getting too much.
Logan whined continuously with pouty lips, holding onto Adam tightly. Winter groaned in annoyance. Why did his best friend have to be such a tactless fool?
"I’ll take him ho. Don’t worry." Adam suddenly offered, putting his hand on Logan’s back.
"Really?" Logan’s eyes glinted in excitent after hearing those words.
"Yeah, it’d be fine. I’ll just drop you off and head out." Adam spoke in a casual tone with a smile on his lips.
Blue frowned deeply. Then emptied the glass of alcohol that he had montarily forgotten on the counter. Leo imdiately ca back to life.
"En, take the drunk man out. There are things to do." Leo said, folding his arms.
Blue’s frown sohow managed to deepen after hearing those words co out from Leo’s mouth. That was when Winter noticed the Alpha.
Winter looked at the Alpha and was imdiately able to tell that the guy was a scumbag. He unconsciously shifted next to Blue with a protective stance.
"Blue, I’ll be back soon, okay?" Adam said, then quickly began to lead Logan out of the club. Logan who was in a puppy state, running and slobbering over Adam.
Blue wasn’t even listening to Adam’s words as he slid off his own stool, suddenly feeling uncomfortable. He muttered sothing about going to the restroom to no one in particular, then disappeared.
Winter’s and Leo’s eyes followed Blue’s movents until he vanished from their line of sight. One of them was wearing a pleased look on their face, the other’s face was painted with worry.
anwhile, Blue reached the restroom with his entire body feeling heated and uncomfortable. There was no one else around when he got to the restroom and he quickly stumbled over to a sink to wash his face.
The glands at the back of his neck were aching. An unspeakable place between his legs began to itch. Blue’s mind was not a hundred percent due to the alcohol in his system and sothing else working behind the scenes.
But he knew for sure, "Soone drugged ."
With a heat-inducing pill. His heat had just passed. And now, he was experiencing the symptoms. It was clear that this was due to artificial ans.
And the culprit was obviously that foolish Alpha, Leo. The guy must have probably noticed that he had no chance with Blue without illegal ans.
So he went for his drink...
"I shouldn’t have emptied that glass after not paying attention to it." Blue hit his forehead as he thought.
Now, the entire restroom was filled with the scent of vanilla coated in honey. Blue grew nauseated. He clutched his stomach and held a hand to his mouth.
Suddenly, soone walked into the restroom. The male Oga’s eyes widened as he took in the scent of the pheromones floating in the air.
"Hey! You’re in heat. Why are you-"
Blue pushed past the Oga and basically ran out of the restroom without hearing what the guy had to say. Blue’s steps were fast as he began to navigate his way out of Berryblast.
However, every single person he passed by and was yet to pass by noticed him. That was the power of a Dominant Oga.
Blue didn’t know when he would stop seeing the wolfish eyes that looked at him greedily as he struggled to get out. He was almost out the door when soone blocked his way.
"I’ve been looking for you."
