Seven Sins System Chapter 463. Controlled Chaos

“Hello, everyone,” I said with a grin, my voice echoing through the trees. My tentacles writhed in excitent, sensing the bloodlust that hung thick around . “Who wants to play?”

The forest seed to hold its breath, the creatures within it wary but curious. They were powerful beings, ancient and wild, but they had never faced anything like . I could sense their hesitation, their uncertainty as they gauged the threat I posed.

But I wasn’t interested in waiting. My wings stretched out, and with a powerful flap, I launched myself into the air, the ground beneath trembling from the force. I hovered above the forest, my eyes scanning the darkness for movent.

I extended my hand down, ready to unleash the full force of my power. “Hell—” I began, the incantation for Hell Inferno on the tip of my tongue. But just as the dark energy began to swirl around my fingertips, I hesitated.

Unleashing Hell Inferno here, in this forest, would cause a massive, uncontrollable fire. The flas would consu everything in their path, and the resulting inferno could easily spread to the surrounding areas, laying waste to the entire mountain.

I could already imagine the fallout from such an action—the angels would descend upon in droves, blaming for the destruction, just as they always did. I could almost hear Puriel’s voice, dripping with righteous indignation, as she accused of reckless behavior and needless destruction then of course… they would say I just broke the agreent. The thought alone was enough to make reconsider.

Besides, using Hell Inferno would be like announcing my presence here to the goddesses, not just Puriel. And the last thing I needed was more attention, more complications in a situation that was already far too tangled for my liking.

“Tch!” I clicked my tongue in annoyance, lowering my hand as I weighed my options. The beasts below ca out from their hiding spots, their eyes locked on . I could feel its raw, primal energy. But I wasn’t going to et that with the nuclear option.

No, I needed sothing with more finesse, sothing that would allow to exercise control, to channel my frustration into sothing precise.

“Dark Storm,” I cast, my voice steady and commanding. The air around responded instantly, the temperature dropping as dark clouds began to gather above the forest. The sky darkened, swirling and churning with a nacing energy.

The wind howled, tearing through the trees with a ferocity that sent leaves and branches flying in all directions. The creatures who were still hidden in the shadows shifted uneasily, their instincts warning them of the danger that was about to descend upon them. The beasts below paused, their massive forms tense as it sensed the shift in the atmosphere.

My evil smirk widened as the storm built in intensity, the clouds growing darker and more turbulent. Bolts of dark energy crackled within the storm, illuminating the forest in brief, jagged flashes of light. The sound of thunder rumbled through the mountains. A low, ominous growl that sent vibrations through the ground.

This was what I needed—controlled chaos. A storm that I could direct, that would kill my enemies without causing unnecessary destruction to the forest. I felt the power of the storm at my fingertips, and a smirk spread across my lips as I prepared to unleash it.

“Let’s see how you handle this,” I murmured, my voice lost in the roar of the gathering storm.

I unleashed the full force of the Dark Storm, directing it with a flick of my wrist. The clouds above roiled and seethed, and then the lightning began to strike, jagged bolts of dark energy lashing out at the ground below. Read complete version only at novel⚑fire

The first strike hit the biggest beast, the flash of dark light illuminating its twisted, feral features for a split second before it was consud by the energy. The creature let out a guttural roar, but it was cut short as the lightning coursed through its body, reducing it to little more than a charred husk.

I laughed, a low, malevolent sound that echoed through the storm. The thrill of destruction surged through , and I watched with dark satisfaction as the storm struck again and again, each bolt finding its mark. Monsters and creatures hidden in the shadows fell one by one, their cries lost in the fury of the storm.

The lightning was relentless, striking like a mad, vengeful force. I reveled in the chaos, my laughter growing louder as I watched the devastation unfold.

But as the storm continued, the strikes grew more erratic, less focused. The monsters were dead, their bodies strewn across the forest floor, charred and lifeless. Yet the storm didn’t relent. Bolts of dark energy began to lash out at random, striking the trees, the ground, anything in their path.

My laughter faltered, replaced by a flicker of concern. I watched as the lightning struck a particularly tall tree, splitting it down the middle with a deafening crack. The dry wood caught fire instantly, flas licking up the trunk as the wind fed the blaze.

‘Okay… this is bad,’ I thought. But it shouldn’t be that bad, right?

Another strike hit a cluster of bushes, setting them ablaze as well. I felt the smirk slip from my face, replaced by a cringe as the realization hit —this was getting out of control. The fire was spreading, fanned by the winds of my own creation, and there were more than just a few isolated flas.

I stopped laughing entirely as I watched in growing horror as the fire began to spread, leaping from tree to tree with terrifying speed. The wind howled through the forest, feeding the flas, turning what should have been a controlled display of power into a rapidly escalating disaster.

“Damn it!” I hissed through gritted teeth. The storm, my storm, was no longer under my control. The fire was spreading too quickly, fueled by the wind and the dry underbrush, and it wouldn’t be long before the entire forest was ablaze.
