Seven Sins System Chapter 437. They’re Too Dumb To Realize I’m Their Prince
She gave a frown that clearly said, "Then what's the point of you saying it?" Her eyes were sharp.
“I used my gestures to say it,” I explained, trying to maintain my composure.
“Will they understand?” she asked, skepticism lacing her voice.
“I hope,” I admitted, the uncertainty evident.
The two demons exchanged glances, their grotesque faces contorting in what seed to be a mont of confusion.
But then, as if on cue, they shrieked again, louder and more piercing than before. Their bodies tensed, and they leaped towards , their claws outstretched and eyes blazing with ferocious intent.
Their movents were swift, but to , it felt as if ti slowed down. I watched their feral charge with a flat stare, a dry smile tugging at the corners of my lips. This wasn't the first ti I'd faced such aggression, and it certainly wouldn't be the last.
“Seems they don’t understand your gesture,” Puriel comnted dryly, her eyes widening as she took a step back.
“Seems they’re too dumb to realize I’m their prince,” I said with a huff, my annoyance clear.
- BANG!
A loud sound echoed as the demons slamd into an invisible barrier right in front of us. Instead of the dark energy I expected, a golden light shimred, indicating the barrier belonged to Puriel.
Without wasting a second, I flicked my index finger and focused my mind. “Telekinesis,” I chanted, summoning my own dark power.
The shadowy tendrils of my invisible energy snaked out and wrapped around the demons, lifting them off the ground.
They writhed and struggled, their shrieks piercing the air once more.
“Ger! (Power!)” one shouted, its voice raw and desperate.
“Ger! (Power!)” echoed the other, their cries lding into a discordant chorus.
They continued shouting, their attention solely fixed on despite Puriel’s presence.
Their singular focus confird my worst suspicions. Despite the goddess standing beside , their target was undeniably .
I tightened my grip with telekinesis, holding them firm as they thrashed and snarled like a pair of rabid dogs.
I took a deep breath, trying to calm myself down. I was just one step away from splitting these demons in half or devouring them with my tentacles. But I had to maintain control. Information was more valuable than a montary release of rage.
I forced a smile, even though what I truly wanted was to break their cores and end this madness.
“Let’s do this again, shall we?” I asked them nicely, my voice steady.
The demons continued to thrash and snarl, but I maintained my hold on them.
“Si aba kin ni? (Who is your master?)” I asked them once again in the ancient demon language, hoping for so semblance of an answer.
Their eyes flickered with a mont of recognition, but they remained silent, their grotesque faces twisted in confusion and anger.
I needed more.
I needed to understand who had the power and knowledge to summon them here, who had the audacity to target .
“Li aba kin ni o mortal? (Is your master a mortal?)” I pressed, my voice laced with urgency. This was the key question. If their master was a mortal, it ant there was a human sowhere with dangerous knowledge and the ability to control demonic forces.
But they answered with more screams. "Ger! (Power!)" they shrieked, their voices raw and desperate. "Tu ni ger! (Give us your power!)" They kept repeating those words, their bodies convulsing as they struggled against my telekinetic grip.
Puriel watched it all with a flat stare, her golden barrier still shimring. She glanced at . "They didn't answer, right?" she asked, her voice calm but edged with the sa irritation I felt.
I gritted my teeth, maintaining my distorted smile despite the seething anger boiling inside .
I was on the verge of losing my patience, the urge to obliterate them becoming almost irresistible. “Yup. They are dumb,” I said irritably, my voice strained.
The demons continued to scream and thrash, their eyes locked on with a disturbing intensity.
“Envy, read!” I chanted.
My tentacles writhed and twisted, approaching the two demons with a nacing grace. They quivered as the dark appendages neared, their screams growing louder, more desperate. Without hesitation, I drove my tentacles into their ears—or whatever passed for ears on their grotesque forms. The connection was imdiate, a flood of chaotic, fragnted mories rushing into my mind.
The initial surge of images and sensations was almost overwhelming. I saw flashes of dark rituals, shadowy figures, and blood-soaked altars. The mories were disjointed, a nightmarish montage that offered little clarity. I pressed deeper, sifting through the chaos, searching for the crucial piece of information I needed.
Then, amidst the swirling confusion, I found it. Voices, clear and commanding, echoing through the demons’ minds. Orders, precise and unmistakable.
"Li aba kin! Ki ni il tul mi ger! (I am your master! Find and bring back my power!)" The voice was authoritative, imbued with a nacing dark power. But what truly gave goosebumps was the eerie familiarity of the voice. It was similar to mine, almost indistinguishable.
My core pounded as I tried to make sense of it. How could this be?
