Seven Sins System Chapter 435. We Do Not Know Na

Well, I guessed she didn’t actually want to leave.

I could see it in the way she hesitated, the way her eyes lingered on the playground as if she was leaving a part of herself behind. But she was forcing herself to do it for my sake.

Whatever!

The most important thing for was to bring her back. At least at the academy, I might be able to calm her down or maybe divert her attention to sothing else.

We walked in silence.

Puriel’s steps were slow and reluctant, her head bowed.

I stole glances at her, hoping for so sign that she was coming to terms with it, but all I saw was sadness and disappointnt.

We walked in silence. Once we reached a secluded spot behind a large tree, we changed our appearances to our adult selves.

Still in our human forms, of course, but the shift in our stature and deanor was imdiate. The childlike facade lted away, revealing our adult forms.

I was just about to open my portal when an announcent from my system appeared in front of .

[Anomaly detected!]

[Estimation: Demons]

My eyes widened in disbelief as I read the words.

This shouldn’t be possible. I had destroyed the cult and its cronies. I had burned every version of my summoning formation, ensuring there should be nothing left. There should have been no way for demons to breach the mortal realm again. And yet, here we were.

“It can’t be…” I muttered in disbelief, my mind racing with the implications.

“Azrael…” Puriel whispered, her voice tinged with the sa shock.

Puriel and I turned in unison. We sought the source of the demonic energy.

The air around us seed to thrum with a dark, oppressive aura, yet the park remained eerily calm. No banging or roaring broke the silence, only the sound of rustling grass being stepped on gently and the faint echo of footsteps approaching.

A civilized demon. Such a creature usually possessed a disturbing blend of a bit of intelligence and manners, traits that marked them as particularly dangerous.

“Impossible…” I muttered once again, my disbelief evident.

Without hesitation, I snapped my fingers and invoked my Shadow Space skill. Instantly, the area around us was enveloped in a do of darkness, transforming the space into my own territory.

The world outside faded away, replaced by a darker version of it.

The steps halted abruptly.

Once the darkness settled, their forms beca clearer. They stood as tall as humans, their skin a mottled, sickly grey. Both were hairless, their heads smooth and grotesque. Their faces were disheveled and distorted, resembling human faces that had been twisted and ruined by so horrific force. Jagged scars and deep gouges marred their features, giving them a nightmarish appearance.

Their nails, at least half a ter long, curled like deadly claws at their sides. Sharp, grinning teeth glinted in the darkness, their mouths twisted into unsettling smirks.

Red eyes, glowing with an unholy light, glared at us with a mixture of hunger and caution. They were naked, revealing sinewy muscles beneath their scarred skin.

Despite their limited intelligence, they seed to recognize the power emanating from . Though they did not know personally, they sensed my demonic nature and the strength that ca with it.

[Na: Pain ]

[Level 130]

I took a deep breath. I thought it was all over. I thought my mission was complete, but apparently, fate had other plans.

Without hesitation, I summoned my true devil form. My body shifted and morphed, my five tentacles unfurling behind like dark serpents. Two tails lashed the air, and my horns curved upward.

I glared at the intruders, my eyes burning with a fierce light.

“Si waba kin ni? (Who brought you here?)” I demanded.

The demons tilted their heads in confusion, their movents grotesque and unnerving. It was as if they were breaking their own necks, the angle revealing gaping wounds that oozed a dark, viscous fluid.

“Oh c’mon! You guys have so intelligence, right?!” I complained, knowing full well they might not understand my words.

“Is li? (A devil?)” one of them finally rasped, their voice a harsh whisper that grated on my ears.

“Yes!” I snapped, then quickly corrected myself. “I an, a! (Yes!)”

Their eyes widened slightly, a flicker of recognition on their faces. They understood now, though their response was slow and uncertain.

“Li is ak nor (We seek… our master),” one of them hissed.

“Master?” I echoed, my mind racing. Who could they be referring to? Every possible connection I had severed, every cultist eliminated. “Si aba kin ni? (Who is your master?)”

They exchanged glances, their hesitation palpable. Finally, the robed one spoke again. “Ni aba isom… ona nor. (We do not know na… only orders.)”
