As I held the phone in my hand and opened the chat app, I couldn't help but feel a sense of hesitation and doubt. A grin spread across my lips as I realized that it was he who was calling. "Speak of the devil," I thought to myself as I let the phone ring a few tis before finally answering, wanting to play it cool and show that I was not just waiting around for his call.

"Yes, dad?" I answered in a asured, cool tone, trying to keep the excitent and nerves out of my voice.

However, instead of my father's familiar voice, I was t with the loud, exuberant tone of my sister, Lily.

"Brother!!!" she yelled into the phone, causing to instinctively pull the phone away from my ear and grimace in pain. The force of her voice was so great that it felt like a physical assault on my eardrums. Her tone was a mixture of annoyance and anger, leaving to wonder what could have possibly happened to cause her distress.

"Lily?" I asked cautiously, carefully placing the phone back against my ear. I was all too aware of her tendency to scream without warning.

But before she could answer, a new voice interrupted her. It was my dad, and he sounded annoyed.

"Kssk—Krrrk--- Srrkk--Lily! Give the phone!" he said, his voice filled with frustration.

"I want to. Talk to him! It's about. The pussy thing!" Lily complained, her voice broken and distorted, an indication that she was likely teleporting from one place to another while speaking on the phone.

As I listened to the childish bickering of my sister and father, I couldn't help but make a flat expression. Despite the fact that they were both powerful overlords of the shadow realm, their immaturity made it hard to take them seriously. Indeed, their behavior was a common trait among demons, who, with their long lifespans, often spent their ti playing and having fun rather than delving into serious matters.
