In a hidden cave on the side of a high mountain, a white-haired woman sat on the ground and held a space ring in her right hand, going through it carefully.

From ti to ti, she would take an item out of the space ring and examine it closely, before putting it back.

It was only a few minutes later, when she had gone through everything that Chu Wuyao put the space ring down and relaxed.

It had been a few hours since Chu Wuyao killed Song Yang and used the Teleportation Talisman to escape the chase of the three Awakening Realm cultivators.

After her teleportation, she didn't rush to do anything else, but opened this cave up and went into "seclusion", wanting to take a look at the spoils of her battle.

In the end, she was a little disappointed.

Unlike what she was expecting, Song Yang's space ring didn't contain any powerful treasures, Magic Weapons, techniques, or skills, and he seed to be really poor.

In fact, this was perfectly normal.

If Song Yang possessed a powerful treasure that could enhance his combat power or save his life, he would have used it during their fight and they wouldn't have not fallen into Chu Wuyao's hands.

"Fortunately, I still found so valuable things.", Chu Wuyao thought and looked at the two bottles that lay on the ground in front of her.

These two bottles were made of precious materials, and although they weren't Magic Weapons, it would be hard even for Shackles Realm cultivators to break them.

However, the actual valuable things were not these bottles, but the pills that lay inside them.

There were five small green pills in the bottle on the left, while the bottle on the right contained three white, smooth white pills.

Chu Wuyao opened them both to take a closer look and although she was unable to recognize what the green pills were, she realized that the white pills were Soul Condensing Pills.

Just like their na would suggest, if one were to consu a Soul Condensing Pill, they would be able to increase the power of their soul.

Chu Wuyao had only seen their description in the Original Library and had never seen one in reality, as they were very rare and almost inaccessible for Shackles Realm cultivators.

Only cultivators at the Awakening Realm would be able to co in contact with them.

"Just these Soul Condensing Pills are enough, but there is also this thing.", Chu Wuyao whispered and a small crystal ball appeared in her hand.

This crystal ball was a mory crystal, which was primarily used to record precious techniques or skills.

However, Chu Wuyao had already gone through its contents and knew that this mory crystal didn't record such information but was instead Song Yang's notes or diary.

She guessed that Song Yang was planning to give it to his descendants or his disciples, passing his inheritance and allowing them to beco familiar with the cultivation world.

Despite this, the contents of the mory crystal were quite beneficial to Chu Wuyao, as it introduced so basic information regarding the Awakening Realm.

According to Song Yang, the Awakening Realm was also divided into different stages, naly: the Vision Stage, the Aspect Stage, and the Creation Stage.

These three stages corresponded to the Early Stage, Middle Stage, and Late Stage of the previous realms, but because of the large difference in the strength of the cultivators at these stages, they were given different nas.

The cultivation at the Vision Stage was quite simple, and the only thing a cultivator had to do was awaken their Vision and beco familiar with its uses.

Once they did, they could choose to break through to the Aspect Stage, where they'd have to supplent their Vision.

The power of cultivators at this stage far surpassed those at the Vision Stage, as each ti they supplented their Vision, its strength would improve massively.

Finally, once their Vision was "complete", the cultivator would be able to break through the Creation Stage.

The mory crystal didn't contain much information about the Creation Stage, and it was unknown whether Song Yang lacked knowledge about it or he just wasn't willing to leave it behind.

Chu Wuyao guessed that it was most likely the latter, as according to this information, Song Yang was at the Aspect Stage and was quite close to breaking through the Creation Stage.

"Judging from this, I should be able to skip the Vision Stage and imdiately reach the Aspect Stage when I break through the Awakening Realm.", Chu Wuyao analyzed.

However, she wasn't very happy about this discovery.

"This world is more dangerous and evil than I initially thought.", she let out a sigh and with a move of her mind, the Six Paths Vision flashed behind her.

It was still the majestic crowned figure with six revolving holes behind it, but there was sothing different about it.

The black scythe in its hand had pierced through a small figure, who was constantly roaring in pain.

This figure had green skin and looked terrifying, but the Six Paths Vision didn't mind at all.

Instead, it brought the tip of the scythe close to its face and opened its mouth, and part of the figure dissolved into a green-yellow mist that rushed to its mouth.

As the Six Paths Vision swallowed this mist, a small amount of energy rushed into its body and increased its strength, which fed back to Chu Wuyao and improved her power.

This scene was quite shocking and if Chu Wuyao had seen it before she would have wondered whether her Vision had gone crazy, but having received more information regarding the Awakening Realm, she understood that this was perfectly "normal."

At the Aspect Stage of the Awakening Realm, a cultivator had to supplent their Vision, and to achieve this, they had three different ways.

They could either understand other Authorities that were suitable and complented their Vision, use precious resources or treasures, or most importantly, swallow the Visions of other cultivators.

That's right.

The easiest and most common way for cultivators at the Aspect Stage to improve their realm was by killing each other and swallowing their opponent's Vision.

Chu Wuyao had long understood that the cruelty of the Cultivation World far surpassed even the novels she had read in her previous life, but even she was surprised when she learned this.

"I'm afraid that the reason why this world is so cruel is not only because of the cultivators but also because of the power system itself."

"Since cultivators at the Awakening Realm can get stronger by 'devouring' each other, then this might also be true for more powerful cultivators."

Many thoughts flashed through Chu Wuyao's mind, and she felt as if she had taken a peek behind the dark veil of this world.

While Chu Wuyao was deep in thought, the movents of the Six Paths Vision didn't stop but continued "devouring" the Vision of Song Yang.

"Roar!"

Before long, The Plague that was nailed to her scythe let out a roar that was filled with hatred and unwillingness and soon disappeared.

With its death, the six holes behind the head of the Six Paths' head shook, and the golden-red rune that was embedded inside one of them shone brightly.

The essence of Six Paths seed to have improved as a result of devouring The Plague, and its strength began increasing.

This change woke Chu Wuyao up, but she looked at her Vision and remained calm, not becoming too excited.

She knew that this change wouldn't last for long, and would soon co to an end.

Indeed, just a few seconds later, the Six Paths Vision completely digested the energy of The Plague, and its strength improvent ca to an abrupt stop.

The Good and Evil Authority in the hole stopped shining, and the six holes cald down and returned to normal as if the previous scene was just an illusion.

Chu Wuyao didn't pay much attention to this though, but checked the condition of her Vision.

Soon, she discovered that although its power had improved, this improvent was only in its destructive power and was not very significant.

When she recalled the contents of the mory crystal, she understood why this happened.

"The Authorities that Song Yang controlled were Plague, Poison, and Soul, but these Authorities don't seem to be very suitable for the Six Paths Vision."

"It seems that I'll have to spend so ti investigating my Vision and finding what its secondary Aspects are, otherwise, it will be hard for to improve my realm in the future.", Chu Wuyao thought, but she didn't rush to do this right now.

Instead, she picked up the items on the ground, placed them in her space ring, and then stepped out of the cave and walked outside.

As the sun shone on her face, Chu Wuyao couldn't help but think about her next course of action.

Since she had no control over the Teleportation Talisman and the place it teleported her to was completely random, she didn't know what region she was in, much less her exact location.

Your journey continues with My Virtual Library Empire

Considering that it would be unwise for her to remain oblivious, she didn't choose to remain in seclusion but decided to go out and collect so information regarding this place.

Although she wasn't familiar with this place, she could sense that there were many auras gathering in the distance, aning that there was a city or town in that direction.

Sensing this, Chu Wuyao didn't hesitate but took off and rushed towards that place.
