Back in Zarpha, sowhere in the palace was a far cry from its usual regal formality. The soft strains of music drifted through the halls, muffled giggles, and the rhythmic thud of feet echoed from one of the unused chambers.

Inside, Lilith and Selene had taken it upon themselves to teach the palace maids an unusual skill—one that certainly wasn't listed in any formal court training manual.

Twerking.

Lilith, with her characteristic playful smirk, stood in front of the room, guiding the maids with a wave of her hips. "It's all about control, ladies," she said in a sultry and commanding voice. "Feel the rhythm; let it flow through your body."

Selene, who was usually the more serene of the two, moved gracefully beside her. Though her steps were gentler, there was an undeniable fluidity to her movents as her hips rolled smoothly in ti with the beat.

The maids followed, hesitantly at first, their movents stiff and awkward, but as Lilith encouraged them, they began to loosen up.

"Don't be shy now," Lilith purred, walking behind one of the maids, smacking her ass before placing her hands gently on the maid's hips. "You've got to let go. Like this."

With a soft push and a wiggle of her own hips, she demonstrated again, her body moving with a hypnotic, sensual rhythm.

The maids blushed and giggled, but they mimicked her movents, their bodies gradually falling into sync with the music. Lilith's eyes glead with satisfaction as she watched them improve.

"You see?" Lilith said softly, smiling as she observed the growing confidence in the maids. "It's not just about the movent. It's about the connection between your body and your spirit."

One of the maids giggled and nearly tripped as her hips bounced a little too wildly, earning a laugh from the group. Lilith winked, laughing along with them. "That's better! Loosen those hips, girls! No one's judging you here."

The room was filled with a carefree, almost infectious energy as they danced and swayed, the maids becoming more comfortable in their movents.

Just then, a knock interrupted the playful atmosphere. One of the younger maids entered, looking flustered as she approached Lilith. "My Lady, a letter just arrived for Lord Adrian."

Lilith's grin faltered slightly. "For Adrian? But he's not here." She glanced at Selene, who raised an eyebrow.

The maids, sensing the shift, slowly stopped their dancing. "Alright, ladies," Lilith said, waving her hand dismissively. "You've done well. Go and practice what you've learned—on your own ti."

The maids curtsied and shuffled out of the room, their faces flushed from both exertion and embarrassnt.

Lilith and Selene exchanged glances before they made their way to retrieve the letter. Once back in their chambers, they climbed onto the bed, the letter resting between them. Both stared at it, curiosity burning in their eyes.

"Do you think we should open it?" Selene asked. Her voice was calm but laced with intrigue.

Lilith's lips curved into a mischievous smile. "I an, it's addressed to Adrian. But he's not here..." She trailed off, her finger tracing the edge of the sealed envelope. "I wonder what's in it?"

They stared at the letter a mont longer, contemplating whether to break the seal. Just then, the door swung open, and Ava strode in, her arms full of coins, pouches jingling as she dropped them onto the nearest table.

"Guess who made a killing today—" Ava began, but her voice trailed off as she noticed the two of them sitting on the bed, staring intently at sothing. Her eyes narrowed. "What are you two up to?"

Lilith quickly leaned back, her smile widening. "Oh, Ava. What are you doing back so soon?"

Ava raised an eyebrow, her curiosity piqued. "I ca to get a larger bag. End of the week ans a lot of profits to haul in." She walked over to them, her sharp eyes catching the letter on the bed. "What's that?"

Lilith snatched the letter from the bed, holding it up. "It's a letter for Adrian."

Ava's grin widened as she reached out to grab it. "And you're just sitting here, staring at it like it's going to read itself?"

Selene, ever calm, placed a hand over the letter. "It's for Adrian," she said softly. "We don't know if we should open it."

Ava let out a light laugh, crossing her arms. "Well, Adrian isn't here. And what if it's important? We wouldn't want to miss anything critical."

Lilith tilted her head, her fingers drumming against the letter as she considered Ava's words. "True... but opening soone else's letter?"

"It's Adrian's letter," Ava retorted. "He won't mind. Besides, if it's sothing we need to act on, we'd be doing him a favor by reading it first."

Selene exchanged a glance with Lilith. "We've thought about it, but we're not sure."

Ava, never one to be patient, leaned forward and snatched the letter from Lilith's hands. "I say we open it," she declared, her voice filled with determination.

Lilith raised an eyebrow, her smile teasing. "Aren't you eager?"

Ava rolled her eyes. "Better to deal with it now than sit here wondering." Without waiting for further protest, she broke the seal and unfolded the letter.

As her eyes scanned the contents, her confident smile slowly faded, her brows furrowing. Lilith leaned in closer, watching Ava's expression shift from amusent to concern.

"What does it say?" Selene asked, her voice soft but urgent.

Ava didn't reply imdiately, her eyes still glued to the letter. Finally, she looked up, her face pale with disbelief. "Oh, fuck…"

Lilith's smirk vanished as she grabbed the letter from Ava's hand, quickly reading it. Her eyes widened as she processed the information, her playful deanor replaced by a tense seriousness.

"Fuck is right," Lilith whispered.

Selene, sensing the shift in energy, leaned in closer, her heart pounding as Lilith handed her the letter. She scanned the words, her serene expression giving way to shock.

"We need to find Adrian," Ava said, her voice uncharacteristically grave.
