"Let’s go! Back to base for testing imdiately!" Yang Dong discarded thoughts of retaliation and loudly called his teammates to regroup and return.
The official players across the training ground dropped their contacts and sprang into action.
In Hua Country, the disaster fog in Yanyun was by far the most severe among the four affected regions, with several World Destruction Level Catastrophes and Terror Devils that had once reached the semigod tier.
However, it also ended earliest among the four disaster fogs.
In comparison, the lifting of disaster fogs in other countries was much slower. In so cases, after the fog cleared, only a third of the humans inside remained.
And as all the disaster fogs dissipated, the Evolution Ga finally welcod a new update.
Firstly, in the [Mall], a new ’Specialty Challenges’ option was added.
Players could spend 100 Ga Coins to take on tasks tailored to enhance specific abilities. [The special nature of these tasks would seal so of the players’ abilities and bar Symbiotic Bodies from entering] [The Symbiotic Bodies would be safely left in the Real World].
There were many types of enhancents. For example, if a player wanted to improve their long-range attack thods.
They could select the corresponding requirents in the challenge. Upon completion of this task, there would be a high probability of enhancing that particular ability.
However, the difficulty and rewards of the sa Specialty Challenge would increase each ti it is completed, but the price would double as well.
If luck was poor and the first few attempts didn’t improve to a satisfying level, then the loss would be significant.
Especially for soone like Li Changhe, an already established, yet luck-challenged Archer. To achieve further enhancent, he might need to go through seven or eight tasks.
This was the first update, which wasn’t particularly aningful for veteran players whose tactics were already ford.
Whether it was Li Changhe or He Feng, their tactics had already been established, and any improvents would require battling much later on. It would cost a great deal of Ga Coins and energy, a net loss.
These ’Specialty Challenges’ were more inclined towards newbie players. Their tactics were not yet established. If they could find and defeat a challenge, there would be improvents, regardless of the approach.
Take Old Zhao, for example. If he planned to beco an assassin or an Archer, then choosing a ’Specialty Challenge’ would be the best option. It could help him avoid many detours.
This might be the benevolence of the Evolution Ga towards new players.
It allows newbie players to perfect their tactics and combat styles sooner and to grow a bit faster.
With so luck, they might even obtain a corresponding Title. That would make their tactical style very clear.
Li Changhe only beca a complete Archer after having the initial Eagle Eye and Long-range Attack Proficiency, as well as the ’Hundred-Headed Shooter’ Title.
The second update was the ergence of the Catastrophe Plot.
In players’ consciousness panels, an option for [Catastrophe Warning] would appear.
It marked the ti and location in the Real World where a Catastrophe zone with no small threat would erge. Successfully coming into contact with the Catastrophe zone could negate one [Periodic Task].
But the maximum ti marked was only within a day. A day’s advance warning for players in the Real World to make appropriate preparations? Still, it could be considered a kind gesture.
If there was such a thing before the disaster fog, preparations could have been made in advance.
However... this also suggests that Catastrophes might frequently occur. Not exactly good news. But with the Great Wall and the ancestors around, there shouldn’t be too much worry.
The third update was the new [Plot World] option that appeared on players’ consciousness panels.
Inside were listed the story worlds they had already unlocked and could participate in, along with their tilines.
No wonder Li Changhe didn’t receive the Great Tang’s task items; they were all integrated here.
Thus, for those who wanted to enter the Great Tang but hadn’t unlocked its tasks, there seed to be no solution. This reduced so interference.
Li Changhe, who had just escaped the training ground, glanced over his [Plot World] list.
"There are really quite a number of worlds I can enter. Look, Brother Ting, I’m really in demand!" Li Changhe chuckled with a heh heh.
"Yeah, yeah. Xiao Nan has found herself a gem." Yun Ting responded to Li Changhe’s narcissistic remarks with complete perfunctoriness.
[Hundred Generals Trial Sword, opening in fifteen days] [Task Information] [Available for selection]
[Eternal Throne, opening in thirty-one days]...
[Eternal Prosperous Tang Dynasty, opening in fifty-six days]...
[Blood River World, opening in eighty-one days]
"The world is so vast, I want to go and have so fun." Li Changhe sighed.
The Great Tang goes without saying, as Tian Ce General himself, it’s a must-visit.
As for the Eternal Throne... maybe worth checking out, since the First Emperor helped block the Blood River. He shouldn’t have any hostility... right?
Regarding the Hundred Generals Trial Sword and the Blood River World, the forr is a place to gain so insight while the latter... I should present the Blood River with a generous gift, shouldn’t I?
With Old Lead’s psychic storm that could block the transmission of Divinity, Li Changhe was practically a God’s Chosen assassin.
So let’s hope that there are many Blood River God’s Chosen in the Blood River World.
Li Changhe naturally had to take on the sorrowful wish of the Crying Hero.
As for the fourth update, it was fairly standard. [Mall] had so new supplies available.
Among them, what deserved attention was the appearance of [Guild Warehouse] in the [Guild]. It had thirty slots.
Basically, it was like sharing a backpack in the Real World.
Not bad at all, at least guildmates could save so postage fees by sharing items with each other.
He tossed so Spirit Fruits and unnecessary Epic materials into the [Guild Warehouse]. Mr. Bai and the others could freely take them now.
"This update is pretty good," thought Li Changhe, when he suddenly sensed movent behind him.
Turning around, he saw hundreds of official players swarming out, with even the newcors on the move.
"Holy shit, what’s this..." Li Changhe wondered if there was really a need for so many people to chase after him just because he broke a wall, or did Brother Dong find out about him?
At that mont, an incredibly fast official player caught up to Li Changhe and slowed down to ask, "You look a bit unfamiliar, which team are you with?"
"Team Three!" Li Changhe suppressed his surprise and quickly responded, since he couldn’t possibly say he was an undercover agent, could he?
"I’m from Team Three, too. Are you a newcor?" The player raised an eyebrow and said, "Let’s go together, everyone is gathering there. We need to figure out the details of this update as soon as possible!"
Without further ado, he grabbed Li Changhe’s arm and his figure instantly sped up, dragging Li Changhe in another direction.
Li Changhe was dumbfounded; just as he was about to make his exit, this guy pulled him back?
With his strength, he could have easily dodged or broken free, but that would have led to unnecessary misunderstandings and trouble.
Therefore, all he could do was shout, "Senior, I can walk on my own!"
"Don’t be polite! I’m fast! We won’t be late!" the enthusiastic official player accelerated again.
By the ti Li Changhe was pulled to the gathering point, his chance to sneak away was completely lost, because... Brother Dong had already arrived.
"Brother Dong... long ti no see," Li Changhe tried to hide in the crowd, but in a team structured by groups, he couldn’t hide anywhere being a team on his own.
"Heh heh. Finally caught you, you little rascal!" Yang Dong’s smile was sowhat fierce.
