The material of the book was indeed special, resembling both paper and silk, and faint characters seed to dance across the pure white pages.
Even though it was only half a book, it was clear at a glance that it was no ordinary item.
This was the Karmic Book of Heaven, or the Wordless Heavenly Book!
And this Heavenly Book, revered as a sacred object by the Tianyan Association, had already lost many pages, now only half remaining in a sorry state within the wrapping paper.
No wonder the Supre King said it was a good use, still sothing to play with.
So that was what he ant, hahaha!
Li Changhe laughed, already able to imagine the scene of the Supre King tearing pages from the book while passing the ti.
Then, he picked up the Heavenly Book, planning to see if it would provide any clues.
But perhaps because he was a Heavenly Book Variable, no hints appeared on the pages of the book. Instead, all manner of strange characters flashed before ultimately emptying into a complete blank.
"It looks like I won’t find amusent here." Li Changhe wasn’t surprised, it was only logical that as a variable, he couldn’t utilize the Heavenly Book.
Instead, he applied a gentle pressure and the pages tensed imdiately. A series of bizarre characters erged around the fragnt of the Heavenly Book, looping into a ring. They began to resist Li Changhe’s strength, protecting the Heavenly Book from being torn apart.
"As expected, this thing has strong strength. Well, it is supposed to be capable of changing destiny after all," Li Changhe activated Thunderbolt Extre Speed, stacking his strength trait to 13, and triggering the Thunderstrike trait, yet he still couldn’t tear the page from the Heavenly Book.
Li Changhe had a nonchalant look, then the Black Mud Divinity surged forth, and a massive amount of Divinity concentrated in his hands.
In the next second, the ring of characters shattered instantaneously.
Then, with a ’rip,’ a page of the Heavenly Book was torn out forcibly.
With the tearing of the Heavenly Book’s page, countless lines of fate flashed before Li Changhe’s eyes.
There were worlds that had utterly failed, where humanity had lost the war completely. Various forces divided up the whole world, and a vast number of humans died. The remaining humans either beca slaves to the Chaos believers or were transford into chanical slaves serving the Annihilation Civilization. Any human resistance would be brutally snuffed out, turning into a mindless slave race.
There were completely silent worlds, where humans and the Different Race both vanished, only broken cities and crashed warships hinting at a civilization that once existed. The humans in this world were utterly extinguished and so were the races that did not linger.
There were also worlds flourishing like brocade. Humanity had won the war and gained even greater strength. Human Demigods traversed the cosmos, and on the Interstellar Route, the human warships flowed ceaselessly.
"You have destroyed destiny’s gift and also ruined the future of humanity," a detestable chant arose from the shredded ring of characters, echoing in Li Changhe’s mind.
"I’ll find you. Dumb fuck," Li Changhe stated indifferently, "Be smart, prepare a wall."
He wasn’t sure if there was a being controlling the Heavenly Book, or if the book had its consciousness.
Either way, he wouldn’t let it go.
"You sure make a big spectacle. Directly crushing it with Divinity, huh? Not bad," the voice of the Supre King rang from within the room, "If I had to go through so much trouble just to take a dump, it wouldn’t be easy. Don’t be so rash; those rings of characters can be unlocked step by step. First, observe the characters on those rings, which can be reverse-engineered and then calculated..."
In the eyes of the Supre King, Li Changhe was too crude, using a great deal of Divinity. Did he really think Divinity was so cheap?
Unlocking the defense of the opponent, causing the characters on the Heavenly Book to beco tight and then ludicrous, that was the most interesting thod.
The Supre King expressed so disdain at this.
Li Changhe ignored the Supre King and tore off the next page of the Heavenly Book.
This ti, Li Changhe indeed did not resort to brute force.
Because the mont the ring of characters appeared, Old Lead leaped forth, headbutting and shattering the ring of characters, and the page was torn apart instantly.
"This ti it was more elegant, right?" Li Changhe snickered.
The Supre King did not respond again, muttering to himself that he should also raise a God Sin soti.
Afterward, Li Changhe handed the page to Old Lead.
"Co on, Old Lead, taste how is it?" said Li Changhe.
Old Lead first remained silent and then hesitated for a while.
To be honest, Old Lead really wanted to vent his master’s anger.
Ever since he had started bashing enemies alongside Li Changhe, beginning with killing that harpy, he had set foot on his path to becoming divine.
Step by step, he reached the Mythical Level of God Sin, becoming one of the most formidable weapons in this world. In the void, he transford into the Devouring God Black Hole, making all gods tremble in fear.
Thus, Li Changhe was an important existence to him.
To devour the Heavenly Book pages into smithereens for him would be an excellent choice. But...
This is toilet paper, isn’t it? I, Old Lead, am a Mythical God Sin, I have a reputation to uphold! I don’t eat toilet paper!
If this got out, how could Old Lead mix among the God Sins?
In truth, Old Lead aspired to beco like Sword Brother.
Being a Mythical God Sin, in the Great Wall’s official training base, the few God Sins of the Great Wall players were all resistant or even fearful of Old Lead.
Their responses to Old Lead’s calling were few or they simply ignored him altogether.
But to the Xuanyuan Divine Sword, to Sword Brother, they showed imnse respect. Calling him elder, senior, great ancestor.
Old Lead was envious, he too wished to be like Sword Brother...
If they knew he had eaten toilet paper, wouldn’t he beco a laughingstock?
Old Lead thought as much but still opened his mouth wide and said, "Slurp..."
He crunched down a page with a single bite, his sharp teeth shredding the tough paper, nurous rings of characters bursting forth, countless lines of causality spreading, all swallowed by Old Lead in one gulp. This defense was negligible before him.
Chewing on the page, Old Lead comnted, "Truly ~ delicious!"
Having co to an understanding, ntal pressure was no longer an issue.
After all, if he didn’t tell, and neither his master nor Brother Ting did, who would know he ate toilet paper?
What he consud was the Karmic Book of Heaven, which shaped the mighty and even Demigods! It was sothing even True Gods wanted to personally destroy.
Plus, even if it got out, who doesn’t have a dark past?
Sword Brother is so formidable, wasn’t he still used by the General to chop at?
Old Lead, having realized this, ate even more joyously.
The taste of the Heavenly Book brought him imnse satisfaction and even a feeling of imminent transformation.
Li Changhe, on the other hand, did not hesitate to continue tearing the pages from the Heavenly Book and feeding them to Old Lead.
This was the best way to eradicate it.
With this thod of destruction, Li Changhe didn’t believe anyone could repair the Heavenly Book.
As for the pages already used by the Supre King... just burn them with World Burning Demonic Flas.
And as Li Changhe fed the last remnants of the Heavenly Book to Old Lead,
Old Lead let out a satisfied burp and fell into a long-absent slumber.
(I went out today, didn’t have enough ti)
