The sheep is missing!

This was the conclusion Li Changhe and his group reached after searching the ruins for a long ti.

They had lost the battlefield black sheep...

At first, Li Changhe thought that he and the Demigod Avatar had fought too fiercely, and the floating boulders had subrged the black sheep. But after searching the area thoroughly, there was no trace of the black sheep.

"I believe that being a high-ranking combatant on the Battle Power Rankings, it probably wouldn’t have been crushed to death by the stones," Big Iron Pestle shrugged and said, "It’s not as unlucky as I am. It’s really not around here anymore."

"I rember it seed to have been blown away," Wuji recalled and said, "After all, in a weightless state, its size actually makes it more likely to be affected. Who knows where it could have been flung to."

"Doesn’t that an it has run off?" Xia Yun concluded.

"Weren’t the three of you out there? Why couldn’t you even keep an eye on a sheep?" Li Changhe complained.

Indeed, Li Changhe had forcibly tad the black sheep with Riding EX, and the black sheep wasn’t particularly loyal to Li Changhe. Fleeing in the chaos was the best option for it. (He wasn’t aware that at this mont the black sheep was frantically running back.)

What a pity, to lose a sheep so suited for riding. Although it couldn’t fly, it was still rare for its usefulness and its tolerance for hard work.

Although it couldn’t fly... couldn’t fly...

Nevertheless, Li Changhe sincerely hoped to encounter it again within Hundred Generals City.

In response, Wuji teased, "General, I think it would rather abandon entering Hundred Generals City and avoid you at all costs, even if it ans failing the task and giving up all its rankings, rather than et you again."

"That’s rather harsh of you to say. I haven’t mistreated it," Li Changhe frowned. And he planned, after dealing with matters at hand, to imdiately head to the land of the Dragon Vein to see if he could catch a flying dragon.

Afterward, Li Changhe turned and walked towards the stone door.

The Demigod Avatar was attempting to enter here, and from the traces, it could be inferred that he had been trying to get into this room from the ti the demigod died hundreds of years ago until the present.

Previously, he had reverted to his tallic sli form, probably in hopes of entering the room through the cracks. Sadly, he was unsuccessful for hundreds of years.

"Speaking of which, where did the teardrop-like being get the Divinity to fuel its fight against just now?" Li Changhe walked up to the stone door, knocked on it, and asked.

"Being akin to a parasitic entity, it probably stole the Divinity from that demigod," Big Iron Pestle analyzed. "After all, it can’t produce Divinity on its own... It probably fought the demigod in a different form years ago. After being ’killed’ by the demigod, it transford into a Demigod Avatar, thus also stealing the demigod’s Divinity."

The ability of the Avatar is to mimic the target that has ’killed’ it once. It must have been killed by the demigod, enabling it to mimic the demigod.

However, regarding Divinity... Li Changhe simply let it escape, so he wasn’t sure if it would steal Divinity.

"But if that’s the case... hundreds of years ago, it entered the palace in the guise of a demigod, penetrated the underground palaces, and fought us today. Hasn’t it exhausted the Divinity it stole?" Li Changhe looked at Wuji and asked, "As divine creatures yourself, Wuji my friend, what do you think?"

The Black Mud Divinity isn’t representative, as so Divinities have extre intensity, perhaps erupting with imnse strength using only a small amount of Divinity.

Wuji thought for a mont and shook his head, "It’s unlikely. Not to ntion that it’s also improbable for it to have stolen such a vast amount of Divinity. Just the battles it fought with those knights along the way would have consud a considerable amount of Divinity."

Indeed, from the palace to the current giant door, there was quite a long distance. Over a thousand knights and nurous traps had been defeated by the Avatar. Judging from the traces left behind, the Avatar’s way of fighting was extrely wasteful. It would unleash gravitational waves to clear the area without hesitation, likely consuming a trendous amount of Divinity.

"Then the question remains... where did it get the replenishnt from?" Xia Yun wondered.

"This is when we must consider it from a different angle. We can look at the behavior of the Avatar," Yun Ting piped up from behind Li Changhe, "What was it doing before we defeated it?"

Xia Yun promptly saluted Yun Ting and replied, "Obviously, it wanted to enter this room but failed."

"That’s right, let’s think more broadly. What should have been the Avatar’s initial target?" Yun Ting said again.

"The initial purpose? To... kill a demigod?" Big Iron Pestle pondered.

"Exactly, his goal never changed from the start. His previous master planned to use him to kill a demigod," Li Changhe continued, "And he, wanted to enter this room."

"At the sa ti, the Avatar’s divinity was replenished," Wuji added.

Then, there was silence for a mont.

"Could it be... that the demigod is still alive?"

It seed that there was no other answer left; the demigod had not completely died. Thus, the Avatar could continue to steal his divinity.

At the sa ti, for centuries, the Avatar had been trying to enter this room to fulfill the directive to ’kill the human demigod Lanxiu’.

Because, that human demigod was hiding right inside this room!

No wonder those knights attacked the Avatar with a willingness to die; were they trying to protect their general? The stone door Array that twisted everything in the canyon was the sa, ant to protect the demigod inside...

"So, did the demigod lead the general here to deal with the Avatar, for self-preservation?" Xia Yun asked.

"Very likely, but there are still several doubts," said Wuji. "We can no longer see the throne of the demigod in the void nor the converging torrent of faith. He should have already died."

"As to whether he is dead or not, we’ll find out when we go in. We’re here now," Li Changhe said, reaching out to pat the huge stone door.

"But how will you get in? It doesn’t seem like the demigod left a door for you," Big Iron Pestle questioned.

Li Changhe just spread his hands.

The pitch-black Old Lead levitated in mid-air, its mouth-like crevice slowly opening.

At the sa ti, the pitch-black sun in the void appeared, emitting an eerie laugh that reverberated throughout the void.

A stone door that couldn’t be opened unless one had the strength to destroy the entire canyon?

Such defensive asures were aningless in front of Old Lead.

Just now, not letting Old Lead feast on the tear drops, made the creature quite dissatisfied.

This ti, let It have a proper feast!

Demigod Lanxiu, no matter what you want my help with. Consider these as a deposit, taken by .

So, with a light chuckle, Li Changhe declared, "Now, ladies and gentlen, please witness!"

The very next second, Old Lead collided head-on with the trendous stone door. The entire underground palace shook with it.

At the sa ti, the black sun in the void shone with a strange light, casting its reflection in the endless void.

Concurrently, all the creatures living in the canyon felt a tremor in their hearts. At that sa mont, they heard a sound from deep within.
