Location: Haxum Realm

Serene’s POV

Nervousness gripped every fibre of my body, as I stepped outside the portal of the Haxum Realm. This portal was different from the one near our institute. It was located near the eting Hall designed and reserved for the annual and ergency eting of heads. Vast gardens with fountains, flowerbeds and colourful mosaic pattern pathways surrounded the main building. The only Crystal Tree belonging to Haxum Realm stood with all its magnificence and might on the left-hand side of the garden. It was considerably larger than ours.

On the other side, a massive telescope had been placed, which assisted the witches and warlocks in observing the sky for the movent of planets, moons, stars and other celestial objects. The building itself was rectangular with 5 huge pillars to support its structure and represent each Realm. Each pillar had been embossed with the sigil of each Realm, wings, book, werewolf, fangs, and a sword to be precise. Its silver colour shone in the sun and giving it a majestic hue as we stood outside it.

Multiple steps lead to the main gate. Father had taken my hand in his as we stood outside ready to go in. Kilamin and another guard were in front of us. "Are you ready?" My father asked firmly. "Yes," as the silver-coloured gate with intricate designs opened and we entered the premises.

I had heard about this place but seeing it personally was on a whole new level. The interior was designed using a lot of mosaic-styled glass with multiple statues of prominent figures from the past. I was awe stuck looking at the beauty of it all when I saw Artins Sensei making his way toward us followed by all our other Senseis. My face lit up seeing them. They greeted us and pleasantries were passed. Shumal and Lavaria Sensei hugged tightly while others nodded.

We were then ushered to the eting room. "Serene, we are all here for you and we won’t let any harm co to you." Shumal Sensei whispered to . "I am hoping it doesn’t co to that." I smiled at her.

The room had an enormous window with royal blue curtains hanging in front of it. There was a massive ring-shaped table placed in the centre of the room with chairs strewn along all its sides. A young aristocratic-looking young man in his early twenties was seated on one of the chairs. His apparel scread that he was either a prince or a king. His light brown hair was neatly combed as he sat upright engrossed in conversation with soone whose face I couldn’t see because he had his hand up his face so others won’t be able to make out what he was saying. A guard stood alert beside him.

He turned his face as we got closer to the table and glanced toward us with his light brown eyes. The other person had dropped his hand and I could see who it was and my eyes grew wider, "Xin Li," I squealed. "Princess Serene," he said with a slight smile and I felt so awkward hearing him call a princess. "What are you doing here?" I blurted out. Before he could speak,

Artins Sensei stepped in and started making the introduction: "King Eradius please et Prince Zhoun Li from Folkshel Realm and his cousin Xin Li. King Hozan Li is seriously ill so his son will be attending in his place." Prince Zhoun Li walked over to my father and shook hands with him.

"It’s an honour to et you King Eradius, I have heard so much about you." Prince Zhoun Li smiled and his face reflected his words. "Pleasure to et you as well, Prince Zhoun." Father smiled back and nodded.

Prince then turned his attention toward and bowed slightly while asking for my hand. I extended my hand and he simply pecked on it. "It’s a pleasure to et you, Princess Serene, my cousin Xin Li speaks very highly of you." He smiled while letting go of my hand.

"Pleasure is all mine Prince Zhoun and I had no idea Xin Li was your cousin. He has been very humble about it." I smiled back at him. "Well so have you been, according to what I have heard from Xin Li." I nodded as everyone began to settle down.

Xin Li took to a side: "Serene, Prince Zhoun is very different from his father. He wants to work with all other Realms and change the ways his father used to run things. I have spoken elaborately with him and have explained that so of us consider you a threat. Don’t worry we are on your side." He placed his hand on my shoulder as if reassuring . "Thank you, I think we will need all the help we can get," I replied.

"Of course, and one more thing Zeph and Ralph were worried about you. They t and asked to convey to you that they will co to you no matter what or how if anyone tried to harm you." I smiled at his words, thinking how they will rush here carrying their swords. "I know they won’t stand back and watch but let’s hope the situation doesn’t escalate." He nodded as we headed back to the table to take our respective seats.

A stunning woman with a fiery attitude who stood at least 6 feet tall and was clad in a champagne red flowing gown entered the room followed by a young boy with a lean body and black hair. Artins Sensei introduced her as the Vampiress Queen Vilarja Tran of Wampir Realm. She simply nodded in our direction and took her seat opposite us. She had a fire in her eyes as she scanned the room with her delicate neck. The boy stood behind her instead of sitting alongside her.

Alpha King Anmadius and his Luna Herena from the Lycanus Realm were next to grace us with their presence. Both of them seed to be in their early forties. King Anmadius was huge both in terms of height and muscles. His torso was toned to perfection under his royal attire. His sandy-coloured hair was long and brushed his broad shoulders. He walked with so much grace as he shook hands with everyone in the room with a bright smile on his face but his aquamarine eyes seed cold and distant. Luna Herena was a petite woman with a fragile-looking body but her grip was so strong as she shook my hand. Her skin was so fair that it almost looked transparent and her hair complinted her skin which was elegantly braided over her head.

Next, our host and the head of Haxum Realm Alexis Drugh walked in and greeted everyone. My father seed distant and cold while greeting him. Once everyone was seated Alexis spoke up: "Shall we begin?"
