Upon hearing the ssage announced by the system, Su Xuan's eyes displayed an expression of incredulity.
He had rely wanted to investigate for the sake of the original owner – to determine whether this wealthy man had committed any cris. However, he hadn't expected that the man would indeed have a criminal record!
And not just any criminal record, but that of a high-level offender.
With this realization, a peculiar smile imdiately spread across Su Xuan's face.

While Su Xuan wasn't prepared to disrupt a wedding, apprehending a criminal was an entirely different matter – it was a duty he owed as a police officer.

Hearing the words of his companions around him, Su Xuan finally snapped out of his thoughts. He chuckled softly, then waved his hand and strode forward.
"Guys, follow !"

Seeing this, several police officers were imdiately puzzled, but they hastened to follow.

Besides, it was the original owner who had feelings for his ex-girlfriend, not him. He had even discerned the woman's deceitful nature. Just thinking about her made him nauseous.
Even if she stood naked before him, he wouldn't spare her a glance, let alone cause trouble for her!
Hearing this, several officers looked at him skeptically.

While talking, the group got into the police car. Su Xuan started the engine and headed straight for the hotel where Qin Shuyi and her nouveau riche groom were getting married.
Witnessing this scene, the other officers had even more complex expressions.

Feeling the gaze of his comrades, Su Xuan knew what they were thinking. However, he couldn't be bothered to explain. Once he got there, this bunch would realize whether he was telling the truth or not.
Soon, Su Xuan led his group into the Imperial Palace Hotel.
Because they were all dressed in police uniforms, the hotel staff didn't dare to obstruct them. In fact, they approached with friendly smiles.
"Officers, is there sothing you need?" inquired a service attendant, with their gaze lingering on Su Xuan, the only one not in uniform.
Internally, they wondered if he was the one who had reported the incident.
In response, Su Xuan presented his credentials briefly and then put them away, speaking with a serious tone:
"We're here on official duty. There's a suspect in your hotel, and we're taking him into custody imdiately!"
With that, Su Xuan led his comrades straight to the third-floor banquet hall.
The hotel staff, having assessed Su Xuan's deanor, suddenly realized that he was an undercover police officer. However, the situation was significant enough that they needed to consult the boss.
In comparison to the staff, the police officers trailing behind Su Xuan were even more puzzled.
Wait, how did this turn into apprehending a suspect? They hadn't received any arrest notification!
Watching Su Xuan head straight to the third floor, a few officers began to form conjectures.
Could it be that Su Xuan intended to abuse his authority to ruin Qin Shuyi's wedding?
With this thought, the officers' gazes toward Su Xuan carried a hint of worry.
If that were the case, they might as well crash the wedding!
Interrupting a wedding due to emotional conflicts usually resulted in a brief detention or a warning for a day or two. Since they were all colleagues, so leeway and understanding could be granted.
However, if this was a personal revenge played out through official channels, the nature of the offense changed. In that case, not only could their careers as police officers be at risk, but they might even find themselves facing disciplinary action from the authorities!
In this mont, a few individuals began to feel nervous. They quickly stepped forward, speaking to Su Xuan in hushed tones.
"Su Xuan, you must remain calm. Don't act impulsively!"
"I know you're feeling uneasy inside, and if you want to cause a scene, I'll definitely back you up! But talking about suspects and such… you can't just blurt it out!"
"Don't forget, you're a police officer, and you need to uphold the integrity of your uniform!"

The voices of his colleagues echoed in his ears, and Su Xuan understood their misunderstanding. He shook his head with resignation.
"Don't worry, I won't jeopardize my career for Qin Shuyi... I worked so hard to beco a police officer, and getting involved in sothing like this would be a huge mistake!"
"However, I am genuinely here to apprehend soone. I rembered that there seed to be sothing off when I saw Qin Shuyi's wealthy acquaintance before."

Hearing their concerns, Su Xuan realized he couldn't avoid explaining any longer. He promptly spoke up, "Guys, I only rembered at the station."
"Do you all rember the wanted criminal who stole millions' worth of jewelry on the high-speed train three months ago and then went on the run?"

Su Xuan stepped aside, allowing the officers a clearer view of the stage.
"Don't you guys think the guy standing on the stage bears a striking resemblance to the fugitive who escaped three months ago?"

Hearing Su Xuan's words, the police officers felt a shiver down their spines. They huddled near the door, peeking through the gaps to get a good look at the groom standing on the stage...
After a closer look, a sense of uncertainty spread through the crowd.
