Chapter 339: Chapter 190: Star Federation (Part 2)

Chu Ao furrowed his brows in thought and asked, "What about the growth path?"

"Mainly Spiritual Power, with Magic Power as a supplent," Noel replied with a smile. "The promotion is similar to that of a Mage, but Arcane Magic leans more toward knowledge. As long as the knowledge is sufficient, the power it can exert far exceeds that of a Mage who only knows how to use Magic inscriptions!"

"Observe this."

Noel extended his hand, his fingertips delicately tracing in the void. A subtle wave of Magic Power rippled through the air. Soon, heat began to emanate from his fingertips, leaving faint patterns in the air.

As he gestured toward a robot, the patterns suddenly began to grow rapidly, and a massive fire dragon materialized out of thin air, surging madly toward the robot. However, under a fluctuation of Spiritual Power, it rely encircled the robot without causing any harm.

He extended his other hand, and a similar Magic Power appeared, but this ti it did not stir up the void. Instead, a very apparent Magic circuit appeared.

As the Magic circuit ford, a fireball appeared out of thin air, hurling toward the fire dragon.

But the fire dragon opened its mouth and swallowed the fireball whole, before slowly disappearing as it spiraled down.

"You see, with the sa Magic Power and the sa Fireball Technique, Arcane Magic can guide more Natural Elents to gather based on one’s spirit, whereas Magic draws from one’s own Magic to release flas. There is an essential difference!"

Noel was a bit excited. "Never mind, I shouldn’t have co to ask for your opinion. I’ve decided; I plan to promote Arcane Magic and make it a profession comparable to that of a Mage!"

Chu Ao was sowhat helpless and simply said, "Start with the scholars first, but don’t enforce it. A similar model existed a long ti ago, though it was a matter of constitution rather than profession."

"Hmm? Did such a thing exist?" Noel was stunned, his pure gaze a bit wandering. "How co I didn’t know? This clearly resembles that Marvel..."

Chu Ao smiled. "Marves co from another world. They treat this place like a ga and naturally bring their world’s knowledge with them. There’s no embarrassnt in that. Knowledge is all about mutual borrowing; without exchange, where would new knowledge co from?"

Noel felt a bit embarrassed, and his whole face turned slightly red. "Fine, I admit the na ’Arcane Magic’ was what they called it. I found it quite similar to your na, so I adopted it."

As he spoke, he raised three fingers as if to prove sothing. "But I promise, I only heard the phrase about leveraging knowledge to pry open Magic Power, then conceived of this system!"

Chu Ao looked at the Half-Elf he had raised, a bit helpless in his eyes. This Elf had always lived a life of ease and prosperity, resulting in a sowhat simple nature.

Just as he was about to say sothing, a soft chanical voice rang out.

[Respected Mr. Chu Ao, the Marvel Unos you are interested in has left a ssage in your mailbox: You have a letter from the Dawn Federation requesting to et with you.]

"Dawn Federation?" Noel was taken aback, recalling sothing and exclaiming, "Isn’t the powerful Sword Saint from over four hundred years ago also from the Dawn Federation?"

Chu Ao smiled. "I didn’t expect you to rember; you were very young then."

"That sense of sharpness is sothing I can never forget in my life. He is my goal, and soday I will surpass him!" A powerful intent for war appeared in Noel’s eyes.

Back then, the Star Federation only had one Legendary figure. When that Sword Saint killed the Abyss Lord that Chu Ao found difficult to handle, he was beside him. How could he possibly forget the feeling of confronting the pinnacle of the world’s power?

"Bring him over." Chu Ao also thought of the Sword Saint. Judging by ti, that mighty figure was nearing the end of his life. Could this letter be a plea for aid?

Buzz~

A slight spatial tremor occurred, accompanied by a remarkably steady teleportation wave. An Elf player wearing a lab coat and a monocle appeared before the two of them.

A Legendary Mage can arrange extrely stable teleportation arrays, and so can an Alchemy Sage.

Thus, the response speed of the Star Federation is the fastest among the three Federations. A single Teleportation Gate suffices for them to travel from the capital city to the border.

In other Federations, only a Gold Upper Tier Mage or a Divine Mage could achieve such a feat.

"Greetings to both Lord City Lords." Unos slightly bowed, delivering a very graceful salute.

He perford an Elf salute, appearing very elegant.

This was the very person Demacia referred to as a pervert, successfully assembling a spaceship within the ga.

Outside, he was a super scholar, having lost his initial genius’s pride due to a car accident.

But this ga gave him new life, so he, like the Guard Brigade, passionately engaged in things that interested him alongside loving the ga.

He had watched the Guard Brigade’s live broadcasts and was conducting similar ones. Therefore, when the Guard Brigade contacted him, he agreed without hesitation, without even demanding any benefits.

Because both he and the Guard Brigade sensed that inter-Federal diplomacy would undoubtedly occur in future versions, perhaps this was the beginning of the diplomacy.

Chu Ao showed appreciation in his eyes. This Marvel differed from others; he was deliberately nurturing it, intending to see how far Marvels could reach in this world.

As for the notion that Marvels could go out of control...

A certain power inhibited them from becoming infinitely stronger, which ant they inherently couldn’t truly lose control.

"A letter from the Dawn Federation? Is it conveyed through your network?" Chu Ao spoke while the tallic floor rose to form a third seat, and a third robot stepped out from the wall to provide one-on-one service to the guest.

"Yes, a friend sent

so pictures, and I simply printed them." Unos nodded, taking out a thick stack of photographs from a piece of spatial equipnt, about half a ter thick. He had to hold them to keep them from toppling.

Each photograph was filled with densely packed text, diversified in nature, including nurous Alchemy Inscriptions replacing so text.

These Alchemy Inscriptions were things even their player panels couldn’t translate.

Thus, the players felt like they were reading celestial scripts with these texts, without a single coherent sentence.

He didn’t know what it signified, but on one hand, was the City Lord of Dongwu City, nearly the pinnacle of power there, and on the other hand, was the most supre power itself. Hence, he needn’t worry the transmission of such knowledge would be futile.

"Then thank you for your efforts. This thod is quite good; I haven’t received any news from there for a long ti." Chu Ao said with a smile while using Spiritual Power to take the photographs.

Casually looking through two of them, the light expression in his eyes and the smile on his face vanished simultaneously. He suddenly stood up, his aged hands trembling.

Noel, a bit puzzled, observed Chu Ao. He had never seen him lose composure before, and he also stood up to look at the photographs.

The various patterns on them gave him a headache, not because he recognized those characters, but because they were peculiar...

The layout was excessively strange, with no connection between any passage.

And he had barely glanced at them when the photographs abruptly vanished. Chu Ao’s especially grave voice resonated, "How many people have seen these things?"

"The things were sent by the City Lord of Dongwu City, Baiyi, through the Marvels of the Dawn Federation. Once sent, I ca directly here, without it passing through a third party." Unos responded with a smile.

Excitent flashed in Chu Ao’s eyes, "This ti you’ve done a great service. What do you want? I can satisfy you!"

While asking, he suddenly thought of sothing, calming his emotions gradually, and inquired, "Could you assist in passing so materials on my behalf? Using the sa thod would do."

"Of course, I’d be honored," Unos replied, showing rare excitent on his face.

He and the Guard Brigade seed to have predicted correctly that this incident was exactly the beginning of Federal communication!

Chu Ao regained his composure, slowly taking a seat. He looked at Unos with a smile and said, "In a couple of days then. I need to prepare a bit. Your reward will be arranged for contact; feel free to express whatever you wish for."

Unos paused, offering a slight bow, "Then I’ll take my leave first."

Chu Ao nodded, watching Unos depart. He couldn’t resist taking the photographs out again. As he gazed at the writing on them, his previously settled emotions began to surges anew.

"What is this?" Unable to suppress his curiosity anymore, Noel asked upon observing Chu Ao’s expression.

Chu Ao’s eyes reflected joy as he pointed at the photographs, smiling and said,

"This is my stepping stone into the forbidden knowledge!"
