Chapter 322: Chapter 183: Diane’s Arrival

The Soul Saint of the Tower of Soul, stemming from ancient hostility.

Baiyi quietly waited, glancing at the players’ progress. The expert players were about to discover the true secret of the dungeon, which was the origin of the ghost boss.

The ghost ca to Xia during the Ancient God Era, which is also where the Soul Purifying Potion originated. However, during the transition between the Ancient Gods and New Gods, the Netherworld invaded again, only to be expelled from Xia by the New Gods.

They even appeared during the New Gods’ civil war, but at that ti, the gods were fighting so fiercely among themselves that the Netherworld suffered its greatest loss ever.

The three invasions left the world with lingering ghosts, and the Mysterious Town is a remnant of such.

But this boss is only Golden Upper Tier; even though ghosts are quite troubleso, they definitely cannot reach the level of killing him.

And this task...

It seems the Tower of Soul intends to strengthen this boss!

"Baiyi, are you still listening?" Diane’s tone carried a hint of worry: "Should I co find you now?"

"I’m listening, no need to co over. I’m currently contacting others. A Mysterious Town has appeared near Dongwu City; I’m planning to clean it up." Baiyi responded, preparing to contact Heidinger and Eric.

When there’s power, a righteous gang assault is the best way to handle it.

"The Netherworld?" Diane’s eyes lit up: "Wait for , I’m on my way. I’ve always felt that ghosts and evil spirits aren’t much different. Let

see if I can control the ghost!"

Baiyi paused, contemplating, the necromancer’s Undead Body is very powerful.

This physique can be considered the natural king of the undead; when the Death God was still around, even powerful necromancers could communicate with gods.

However, the conditions to form a necromancer are very stringent, with only two thods: innate and divine blessing.

Other necromancers ford through cultivation are all pseudo-necromancers; their Undead Calamity is just mimicry.

And Diane’s Undead Body is a divinely blessed physique.

Nonetheless, ghosts cannot be controlled by necromancers. Ghosts and evil spirits only share one similarity: they are both illusion bodies.

The rest are fundantally different. Ghosts are a special race, and evil spirits are entities born from the souls of the deceased. Things targeting evil spirits don’t have as high a restraining effect on ghosts.

Before Baiyi could say anything more, Diane proactively cut off the communication, leaving just a sentence: "Wait for ..."

Baiyi thought for a while and gave up the idea of stopping her from coming over. Diane had never been a burden.

Not to ntion the necromancer profession’s strength, even the endless scrolls make cross-level combat not a problem.

About ten minutes later, Baiyi sensed the flickering of a spatial fluctuation.

The next mont, Diane and a powerful old man appeared beside Baiyi.

This old man was a legislator Baiyi knew, theus Di Feng....

"Baiyi!"

Diane’s face broke into a beaming smile: "Let

introduce you; this is my grandfather, whom you should be familiar with."

Baiyi thought for a mont and greeted, "theus...."

Diane’s smile slightly faded, and she gazed at him with large, forlorn eyes.

theus, however, smiled gently, also quietly watching him.

The words "Mr. Legislator" stuck in Baiyi’s throat, and he altered his words: "...Grandfather."

As the words fell, both the old and the young were satisfied.

theus smiled warmly and said, "No need for formalities. I heard you’re collecting Soul Crystals on the black market. Consider these a eting gift. I don’t oppose you and Diane. Visit our ho more when you have the ti."

As theus spoke, a small box appeared in his hand, floating in front of Baiyi.

Baiyi took the box, opened it, and saw three large Soul Crystals quietly emitting a purple glow.

Baiyi imdiately beca sincere, putting away the Soul Crystals and sincerely thanking him, "Thank you, Grandfather theus."

theus nodded approvingly, stroking his beard, quite pleased with the address.

Although he was already the most notable legislator, he was more than happy to have an additional top-tier potential grandson, especially since Diane also liked him.

In a world where people mature at fifteen, marriage is not taboo; gender matters little.

After all, many races in this world are matriarchal, like the Elves, Catn, and Enchanting Demons.

Who marries whom isn’t really a certainty....

Diane landed on the hovering Bone Dragon’s head, holding Baiyi’s arm: "Where’s the ghost? I still don’t have a true subordinate yet."

Baiyi pointed in the direction of the Mysterious Town: "In the Alternate Space...."

Baiyi looked at the players’ progress, estimated, and said, "In about two hours, it should be out."

"Then what are we waiting for? Let’s go, let’s go! After capturing it, we can head to Dongwu City. I’ve heard Dongwu City has changed a lot recently, and I’ve wanted to see it for a long ti."

Diane said excitedly, holding onto Baiyi, ready to charge.

However, Baiyi stopped her: "This ghost might be Legendary, potentially dangerous, so don’t rush in."

How the Tower of Soul’s enhancent would manifest isn’t clear, but it doesn’t matter. Three hundred missiles fired tily would reduce anything below Tier Three Legendary to ashes.

If a Tier Five Legendary got hit by these missiles, it wouldn’t be pleasant either. Any higher, and they should take refuge in the Federation, waiting for Luo n’s support.

"Legendary?"

theus’s eyes glead: "What tier?"

"Uncertain, but there’s a high probability. It makes

feel threatened, and my perception is usually accurate." Baiyi thought and seriously said, "Let’s wait a bit longer. Currently, Dongwu City’s intercontinental missiles are aid here. No matter what, leveling this place first can’t be wrong."
