Chapter 25 - Illegal Immigrant Man Demands 7-Figure Job and ICE Director's Granddaughter as Bride
A floating black castle descended from outer space and reached 5,000 kiloters above the Grand Jade Continent—the exosphere of the green planet below. It stopped there and orbited around the planet.
In the mysterious castle on a floating land mass, two hundred immortals patrolled the ramparts while the master of the castle stood at the front balcony, gazing at the green planet.
The master of the castle was Xiao Han Ce, who donned black robes. His crude skin and face were covered by blisters and dark spots as he had accumulated impure Qi from monster beasts and various demi-human races. Combined with his bear-like build, ugly face, and nasty bodily odor, he was deed the number one undesirable groom among immortal ladies.
Xiao Han Ce stared at the two jade slips in his hand. Both had a na engraved on the surface—Yuei Wuxin and Ji Immortal Manor.
The ugly tar furrowed his brows. Recently, he had received good news and bad news.
The good news was related to a female 9-tailed fox sighting, which he had been searching for.
His dual cultivation thod required unique Qi from a high-ranking monster, which could only be obtained by exchanging bodily fluid. Based on his research, those who dual-cultivate with a female 9-tailed fox would gain a unique physique, compatible with all types of Qi.
As Xiao Han Ce was overjoyed by the news, a certain declaration from the Immortal Ji Manor frustrated him. The manor, who had been on good terms with the taming guild, suddenly annulled his engagent with one of their clan mbers. They said they didn't like the idea of giving one of their precious seedling to beco the 1827th concubine of his.
Because of the sudden engagent cancellation, Xiao Han Ce paused his plan of descending to the mortal world below. He glared at the Grand Jade Continent, where the subsidiary branch of Immortal Ji Manor was located.
'Should I raze the mortal world and capture all won from the Ji Clan? Should I strip them bare and ravish everybody, record everything, and send the footage to Ji Xuandao? Those arrogant bastards think they can do everything on every mortal planet because of their stupid branches and their coins. Do they think they can provoke and expect no consequences?!'
His mind was full of hatred and negative emotions. He wanted nothing more than the destruction of his rival clans and people around him, including his comrade, Yuei Wuxin.
He wanted everybody under his feet. The universe belonged to him.
'No point overthinking. I'll slowly raze their cities first, starting from the edge of the continent. By the ti the Immortal Ji Manor realizes what hit them, it will be too late! If they want dead, they will have to go through the tar guild first. Heh, let them kill each other. When the dust settles, I'll be the one on top!'
After making up his mind, Xiao Han Ce ordered his subordinates. He shouted.
"Prepare to descend and suppress your cultivation base under the quasi-immortal stage! You can maintain your cultivation base if you remain on the castle's premises, but if you leave without suppressing your strength, the karma will kill you!"
The n on the ramparts heard the voice and leaped back into the castle's field, where a do array protected everybody within from the Laws of Karma. After all retainers got inside, the castle island descended to the planet.
Their first destination: West Coast

It was 11 AM. Fu Tong opened his eyes and found himself covered in black sweat. Seeing the sunlight, Fu Tong burst into laughter, yet his expression was so twisted that it resembled a demon.
He was frustrated and overjoyed at the sa ti. The delight ca from the sunlight, which he hadn't seen for so long.
One hour in reality was a thousand years in his sea of consciousness. Getting stuck for years in the dark space and getting killed repeatedly was not fun.
In his mind realm, the three protagonists posed no threat to him since they were in their weak forms. On the other hand, Xiao Han Ce and Yuei Wuxin proved to be the most dangerous n among the crowd because of their illusion techniques and mind control skills. Fortunately, the fight occurred in his sea of subconsciousness, allowing him to cheat by respawning himself after losing the battle.
The simulation fight proved useful to Fu Tong. He got to use complex immortal techniques and witness how they perford firsthand. He also learned new thods to counter their mind control abilities.
After reviewing the fight for minutes, Fu Tong regained composure. He removed his clothes and circulated Qi, using a water technique from the water specialist family—The Immortal Shui Palace, one of the eight great families in the immortal realm.
Fu Tong's Qi was depleted in seconds, but his energy transford into shining water, which seeped out of his pores, eyes, ears, nostrils, and mouth. The liquid scraped away all dirt, gri, and dark sweat, yet the shining water never changed color.
After purifying him, the water mass consolidated and condensed into a black ball, brimming with impure Qi. It dropped on the floor and dented the tile.
Fu Tong leaned closer and picked up the black ball. It was as small as a grain of rice, but it weighed 80 kg.
Lifting the heavy grain and inspecting it, Fu Tong smacked his lips.
"If I announce how the infamous Monster Nourishnt Pills are made, those people from the tar guild will surely puke their hearts out. This is nasty."
Disgusted by the grain he had made, Fu Tong pulled out a karma coin and converted its energy into an immortal fla ball, hovering over his fingertip. Using the lighter fire, he burnt the dark rice grain to ash.
While burning the dark rice grain, chaotic footsteps sounded outside, but nobody bothered him. Minutes later, loud bells chid, warning everybody in the fortress city of danger. Cultivators emitted Qi and exuded killing intent everywhere.
Fu Tong frowned and flicked away the black ash on his fingers. He fetched a spirit stone from his ring and replenished his Qi, enhancing his sense. He eavesdropped on the people in the city.
Most of the noise was unintelligible, but Fu Tong managed to catch a few key words.
"Monster Tide! The rfolk have returned!"
Fu Tong let out a long sigh of relief. He got back to his bed and resud a ditation stance.
Monster Tide, aka monster invasion, was a common event in Sea Watcher Fortress. As rfolk had been driven into the sea, they sotis deployed a task force, leading a platoon full of amphibious sea monsters and attacking the fortress.
To players, this event was a bonus farming event as sea monsters gave unique drops and sea artifacts, which could not be fard or crafted. So useful tools, such as underwater breathing gills, were also in the loot table.
Still, this event ca with a hidden danger. As rfolk were as smart as cultivators, they could always react and adapt to the situation. Like gars, they ford an efficient formation full of supporters, healers, debuffers, damage dealers, and tanks. They also used sea monsters as fodder to lure cultivators and players out of the fortress.
Fu Tong didn't want to join the event as he had sothing else to do.
However, his system thought otherwise.
