Chapter 12 - Asian Man Punched Wild Fox, Cited It Was Courting His Wife
"Yuei Xie." Fu Tong muttered the na of the black-robbed seven-tailed fox.
"Oh, you know him?" Jin Yu was surprised.
"Obviously. He's an ass."
In the scenario story, he didn't love Jin Yu. In the bad ending routes, if players killed the protagonist team but ignored Yuei Xie, he would rapidly raise his cultivation base to the peak immortal stage. Afterward, he and his family would abduct Jin Yu and sell her to Xiao Han Ce as a slave after they were done breaking her.
Fu Tong had gotten the bad ending once, and he was disgusted, disturbed, and traumatized. Vowing that he would never get the sa bad ending again, he created so many cheat mods that his ga characters could one-shot Yuei Xie, his brother, Xiao Han Ce, and everybody that backed them.
Coincidentally, Fu Tong just modified his status attributes.
Yuei Xie's aura of a 4th-rank immortal erupted, and his killing intent soared. All celestial foxes in the city looked up and snarled, growing cautious of him.
The black-robed fox descended from the sky and landed on the elevated platform. He shot Fu Tong a death glare for a mont and turned to Jin Yu.
"Yu'er. Why thou not invite to thy feast? If food thou needs, I hath lavish selection of human breeds."
Jin Yu scoffed and replied in the sa dialect. "I shalt not devour that man. This honorable man art my desired husband, and thou shalt respect my choice."
Yuei Xie's expression changed, amused. He turned to Fu Tong and scrutinized him.
"A re mortal? Him? Thou might beco widowed ere sunrise. I object thine wedding, and I shalt feast on him!"
Jin Yu glanced at Fu Tong. As her cultivation base was lower than Yuei Xie's, she got slightly nervous. However, upon seeing how calm her husband was, she brightly smiled, relieved.
Turning to Yuei Xie, Jin Yu's tails straightened and expanded, ready to support Fu Tong if needed. She bore fangs and provoked him.
"A widow by sunrise? I'm afraid it's you who won't live to see tomorrow. Husband, teach this retard hyena a lesson."
Fu Tong expected a fight, but he didn't foresee how Jin Yu would actively stir more chaos. He sighed. Ignoring the black-robbed fox, he turned to his wife and reprimanded her.
"Honey, don't ask to kill everything you dislike. You're going to build a bad habit."
"Why shouldn't I?"
"You see, there's a common trope. If you kill the young, the adults will co. And if you kill the adults, the old will show up. And if you're unsatisfied and kill the old, the ancestor ones will appear out of nowhere. Beyond the ancestors are the ancient ones, the primordial ones, the origins, or whatever-the-hell-and-how-did-these-maniacs-co-from ones will co out from hiding. The loop continues forever until we slaughtered their entire family trees."
Jin Yu didn't understand half of it, but she got the picture. She turned to Yuei Xie and smirked.
"So, if he dies, his papa cos to pick a fight with us?"
"Exactly!"
"If that's the case, are we sparing his sorry life?"
Fu Tong scoffed and mimicked the local dialect. "Nay. He be dead ere sunrise."
anwhile, Yuei Xie's face reddened in rage as both ignored him. As Fu Tong seed weak, the black-robed fox man stomped towards him and glared into his eyes. Taking advantage of the cultivation base disparity, his Qi erupted, suppressing Fu Tong and attempting to crush his mind and body by force.
"Scoundrel, dost thee dares steal which is mine to wed?!"
Fu Tong glared back. Despite the cultivation gap, the pressure did nothing to him. His 9999 VIT did all the work.
He snarled back. "And which stray hyena barges into my wedding uninvited? Hand over all your treasures and money as an apology or ye be dead ere sunrise."
"A re mortal speaketh back to ?! Thou be best served as crushed minced at... starting from the head!"
Yuei Xie believed that Tong was rely an ant. He brandished his claws, swinging his sharp nails at Fu Tong's face.
Fu Tong casually turned to the approaching fox man. As the improved agility and dexterity attributes heightened his perception and reaction speed, the world slowed down as though soone had decelerated ti during fights.
While Fu Tong was observing the slow movents and sharp claws of Yuei Xie, he clenched his right fist and attempted to replicate a Buddhist fist technique, which he had learned in the library dream.
Aiming at Yuei Xie's chest, his right fist thrust forward.
BOOM!
The slow-motion phenona ended. Fu Tong's fist punctured through Yuei Xie's chest, shattering the fox's heart and lungs.
From Fu Tong's perspective, he had a lot of ti to choose a skill and react. However, from Jin Yu's and the spectators' point of view, their exchanges were instant. None of them could follow Fu Tong's movents earlier.
"YOUNG MASTER!!"
The entourage from the blue-robed clan scread in shock. A hundred immortal foxes rushed down from the sky, charging at Fu Tong for revenge.
anwhile, Fu Tong glared at Yuei Xie. As this guy was a middle-boss, he was expecting the second phase transformation.
As Fu Tong had predicted, Yuei Xie hadn't died yet. He clenched Fu Tong's arms and glared into his eyes.
"RE MORTAL DARE COURT DEATH?!"
Yuei Xie injected Fu Tong's arms with his Qi, commanding his energy to swarm his dantian and destroy his innards. At the sa ti, he transford into his true form—A giant seven-tailed celestial fox.
Fu Tong stayed still, watching Yuei Xie's transformation. He took steps forward, allowing his arm to stay inside Yuei Xie's chest.
More black Qi poured into Fu Tong's tiny dantian. A billion black energy balls seeped into his heart, lungs, liver, kidneys, and other organs. So followed his blood veins and targeted his brain. Black mist shrouded his organs and brain, attempting to freeze all cells and decrease temperature in his body. However, Fu Tong's cells didn't flinch. They devoured the black energy and maintained functioning.
Yuei Xie burst into laughter while his giant front claw seized Fu Tong's body and pulled him away from his chest, bringing him closer to his mouth.
"PATHETIC MORTAL! THOU ART NAUGHT BUT MY NOURISHNT!"
The giant fox didn't notice. By pulling Fu Tong out of his body, the nourishnt person also pulled sothing from Yuei Xie's chest.
In Fu Tong's hand was a crimson orb, radiating black Qi and aura.
Fu Tong dully inspected the orb in his hand. He brought it closer to his face and took a bite. While chewing the mysterious hard object, he muttered.
"Nay. Thou art already dead."
"What?!"
