An Junxi and her group arrived at Ao Shi Island. The yacht docked directly by the island, where Sister Chen and the islanders were already waiting.
"This yacht is really beautiful, I never thought Jun Xi was the young madam of a wealthy family."
"You don’t understand, this is called a luxury yacht. I’ve seen them on TV; only the rich can afford it!"

Everyone fell silent when Gu Yikun appeared. Seeing President Gu from the TV in person on their island, they all pulled out their phones to take pictures. This was more exciting than seeing a celebrity!
With tears in her eyes, Sister Chen walked up, "President Gu, Jun Xi, you’re here." Ai Xi had grown taller and looked more like President Gu.
An Junxi hugged Sister Chen, "I’ve missed you so much."

Sister Chen, being a straightforward person, fidgeted. President Gu’s noble deanor made her feel out of place; she just couldn’t bring herself to say his na.
Gu Yikun was very approachable, "Thank you, Sister Chen, for taking care of Jun Xi and my parents during their stay on the island."
"It was no trouble at all. Jun Xi helped a lot despite being pregnant, and I felt quite guilty about it."
Gu Yikun felt a sting in his heart. The conditions on the island were so basic. She surely endured a lot giving birth here.
An Junxi didn’t pay much attention to Gu Yikun’s feelings. Holding Jin Xiu’s little shoulder, she introduced him to Sister Chen, "This is our son, Jin Xiu – Ai Xi’s older brother. Kids, say hi to Aunt Chen."
Gu Jinxiu knew his sister was born here. His mother had ntioned Aunt Chen’s help, so he respected her deeply, "Hello, Aunt Chen."
Ai Xi also said, "Hello, Aunt Chen."
"Good, good. The kids are so well-behaved." Sister Chen, who had no children of her own, watched the two behave so adorably. She wanted to hug them but feared her rough hands and the fishy sll on her would make them uncomfortable.
An Junxi urged the kids, "Give Auntie a hug."
Gu Jinxiu, not the least bit aloof in front of Sister Chen, followed his mother’s words and gave Aunt Chen a hug, "Aunt Chen, thank you for taking care of my mom and sister."
Sister Chen was bashful, "You’re making feel embarrassed."
Ho Aunt was the last to disembark. An Junxi introduced, "This is Sister Chen. Sister Chen, Ho Aunt has worked for our family for decades. She specially wanted to co and et you."
Ho Aunt, seeing Sister Chen, imdiately recognized her as an honest and simple islander, instantly feeling fond of her. "I’ve heard Jun Xi ntion you a lot, so I wanted to co along to visit the island."
After everyone got to know each other, Sister Chen noticed people were still taking pictures and apologized, "We rarely have outsiders on the island, let alone soone as important as President Gu. It’s quite a faux pas."
Gu Yikun said, "I’m not that particular."
They all walked towards the house together. Sister Chen carried Ai Xi, while An Junxi held Jin Xiu’s hand. She asked her daughter, "Ai Xi, do you rember this place?"
Gu Ai Xi’s big eyes looked a bit puzzled. Sister Chen added, "Ai Xi has been in Yan City for nearly six months. She wouldn’t rember our place!"
Calculating the ti, she asked An Junxi, "Ai Xi is almost two, right?"
"Yes, she’ll be two next month." Ti flies. Returning to this small island and seeing the familiar sights, life here felt like just yesterday.

An Junxi patted her daughter’s head, "Ai Xi hasn’t forgotten Sister Chen’s ho. After all, she was born here."
She pointed at the coop and explained to Jin Xiu, "Grandma used to keep chickens here. Your sister loved watching the chicks eat small fish and shrimp."
Gu Jinxiu asked, "Why keep chickens? Aren’t there any in the market?"
Sister Chen said, "When your mom was pregnant with your sister, she had no appetite for anything. The best we had here was seafood, but even the sll made her nauseous. Chicken was the only thing she could eat, and chickens we raised ourselves were more nutritious. The market’s weren’t fresh enough."
Gu Jinxiu felt a pang for his mother, "Mom must have had a hard ti."
The house was quite old; he didn’t even want to stay here. His mother had lived here for so long – such a pity.
Gu Yikun silently took An Junxi’s hand. She smiled at him, "Everyone here took good care of . It wasn’t that hard."
Gu Yikun held her small hand in his, thinking about how he had promised to shield her from hardship. Yet, she had to give birth to their daughter in these tough conditions, sothing he could never fully make up for in his life.
They all entered the house. Sister Chen’s in-laws had passed away a few months ago, leaving her living alone. Despite being old, the house was neat and tidy.
The kitchen was prepared with various dishes, though nothing was cooked yet. After all, seafood tastes best fresh; cooking it in advance would spoil the flavor.
"President Gu, please have a seat. Everyone, have so tea first. I’ll start cooking. Is Ai Xi hungry?"
Ai Xi rubbed her tummy, "Not hungry."
Gu Yikun said, "The kids had so formula milk. No need to fuss. Just call Yi Ke."
An Junxi also urged Sister Chen, "We’re all friends here. Don’t be so formal."
Sister Chen finally said, "Alright. I’m not good with words. President Gu... Yi Ke, please sit for a while. It’s small here; I hope you don’t mind."
An Junxi said, "Sister Chen, if you keep this up, we won’t dare to co again next ti."
