Understanding her concerns, Clayton Howard turned the steering wheel and parked the car at the entrance of a shopping mall.
“Wait here for ,” he said as he opened the car door and did not forget to remind her before getting out.
Camila Walker watched his retreating figure with puzzlent, her gaze eventually shifting to the large shopping mall outside the car window.
In a little while, Clayton Howard reappeared with several small paper bags in hand, got back into the car, and headed straight to his apartnt.
Recognizing the familiar route, Camila Walker felt a slight startle and turned to look at him, “Isn’t this…”

Turning his head, Clayton Howard unconsciously lifted one corner of his mouth, “Don’t you want to take a bath and change into clean clothes?”

She glanced at him, then again at the floors of the apartnt outside the car window. Today was the weekend, so Audrey Sawyer would be there too, right?
With that thought, she suddenly looked up at the man in the driver’s seat, “I should just change sowhere else.”
Seeing the troubled look on her face, Clayton Howard seed to see through her worries, his thin lips curved slightly, “Sowhere like a hotel?”
At his words, Camila Walker beca lost in thought again.
If she was going to take a bath sowhere other than ho, apart from a friend’s house, it seed the only option really was a hotel, and she didn’t have such friends.
Throughout the years, the friends she had made were mostly opportunists, and ever since her identity had been exposed, those so-called wealthy sisters all looked at her with irony, each thinking that although she was raised in the Walker family, she wasn’t truly born a rich girl, which made her see so superficial things more clearly.

He held her hand and walked toward the apartnt main gate.
Camila Walker still felt uneasy.
For so reason, she didn’t want to face Audrey Sawyer, always feeling that she was a girl with complicated thoughts.
“I’d rather not go up…”
