As soon as she finished speaking, Camila was already pulling Angela Reid towards the front door.
“Camila, where are you taking ?” Angela Reid didn’t want to leave. How could she possibly leave when, besides the nanny, Emily Walker was the only person in the room?

“Mom, Cosmos Blossom’s n will be here any second, and they won’t spare anyone. Dad’s already outside the hotel; following is the safest option for you right now!” Camila Walker said, while desperately dragging Angela towards the door.
“Camila, Emily is my daughter. Are you asking to leave her and go?” Angela Reid struggled to free herself, her expression pained.
This comnt, however, left a bitter taste in Camila Walker’s ears.
She turned around, staring blankly at the woman before her.
“Just because she’s your daughter, does that an I’m not?” she asked her mother, with a trace of deep pain flashing in her eyes.
Don’t make her feel regret for coming here. She had only recently co to accept that her parents were the most precious people to her.
“Emily is, and so are you. If you were in her place today, Mom would never leave you behind either,” Angela Reid’s words soothed Camila sowhat, but then she spoke again, “How will you be of any use here? Can you shield her from bullets? Even if you could stop the first one, what about the next? Cosmos Blossom’s n have more than a single bullet!”
Indeed, she was frantic. To others, it might seem that no one could stand against the power of the Stuart Family, but she knew very well that Cosmos Blossom’s influence in the underworld was not to be underestimated.
At this mont, it was likely that the entire building was surrounded by his n. Baron Stuart might be powerful, but how could he mobilize his forces and deal with Cosmos Blossom’s n in such short notice?
Just before she had co upstairs, she had seen Baron Stuart himself…

However, as soon as she spoke, both Emily Walker and Angela Reid were shocked, their faces turning instantly pale, void of any color.
“What, what did you say?” Angela Reid’s pupils dilated, looking at Camila Walker in disbelief.
She hadn’t intended to reveal this information, but in her mont of urgency, it had slipped out.
“Baron Stuart tried to co up but got shot while climbing the stairs,” Camila Walker said calmly, her gaze inadvertently shifting to Emily Walker.
Ti seed to freeze, with the phrase “Baron Stuart has been shot” endlessly echoing in Emily Walker’s mind. She stared at Camila Walker, her eyes sowhat unfocused.
It took her a mont before she suddenly turned and rushed towards the door to leave the room!
