“Mother, is it my imagination or do you seem to be protecting Emily Walker at every turn?”
Angela Reid hesitated for a mont, wondering if she really was protecting Emily Walker.
With a sigh, Angela spoke again, “Camila, your mother hasn’t been protecting anyone. I just want you to see the truth and let go of your grudges to choose your own happiness. Why must you insist on being with Baron Stuart?”

As Angela walked, she wondered, if Emily were truly her long-lost daughter from 20 years ago, would Camila be able to accept her, given her personality?
After all, the two of them were not related by blood, could they truly live in harmony as sisters?

It had already been proven that Emily was not her biological daughter, so why was she still worrying about things that could never happen?

Angela wanted to say sothing, but seeing her sulky daughter, she chose to hold her tongue. Instead, she gave Emily a faint smile before getting into the black car.
It was just a simple, polite smile, but Camila Walker saw it all too clearly.
