Chapter 435: Why Hasn’t He Woken Up Yet?
“Is this how you reassure yourself?” Baron Stuart opened his mouth with a cold face. Even though his words were directed at Zachary Stuart, his eyes were not on him.
Zachary Stuart was furious, but for a mont he couldn’t say anything.
What was so good about this woman, exactly? What kind of spell had she cast on him, that he couldn’t be away from her even for a short while?
Seeing his rage boiling, Vivian Ferguson worried that the noise might disturb Emily Walker, who was still in a deep sleep. So she spoke up, “Dad, both of them are no longer in critical condition. You don’t need to worry anymore. You should take care of yourself and try not to get too emotional.”
Although she had later found out that Vivian’s previous illness had been feigned, he was still getting on in years, and any little mishap could be detrintal.
Being reminded thus by Vivian Ferguson, Zachary Stuart’s face softened a bit.
He raised his eyes and looked at the two people on the hospital bed, but in the end he didn’t say anything.
Although Baron Stuart still seed anxious, he was less worried by the doctor’s assurance. As for Emily Walker, she was not his concern.
Giving Vivian Ferguson a glance, Zachary Stuart gave her his instructions, “Take good care of him and for now, don’t worry about the Company.”
Vivian Ferguson nodded. Even though Zachary Stuart was very strict with her, if sothing really goes wrong, he would be more anxious than anyone.
Lastly, after taking one final glance at Baron Stuart, Zachary Stuart turned around and left the hospital room.
At this ti, it was already past 7 PM, and Leonardo Bryson stood up and spoke softly, “I’m going to get so dinner.”
Saying so, he then got up and left the hospital room.
“I’m going to make a quick trip back,” Vivian Ferguson whispered to Bella Stuart, as she looked at the pale faces of the two, she decided to go back and prepare so nutritious food for them.
After all, no matter how delicious the food from outside might be, it wouldn’t be as good as the restorative als she could cook at ho.
Bella Stuart nodded, understanding her mother’s intentions.
In an instant, there were only three people left in the hospital room.
After so ti, Baron Stuart finally spoke, “Go and call the doctor.”
Bella Stuart was taken aback for a mont, then responding “Okay, sure,” she rose to call the doctor.
Baron Stuart’s heart would not rest until he heard about her condition directly from the doctor’s mouth.
In a short while, the doctor ca in and explained Emily Walker’s detailed condition to him.
Apart from the trauma, there were no life-threatening concerns.
Baron Stuart was relieved after hearing this.
By the next morning, Emily Walker still had not woken up.
The few people who had watched over her in the hospital room the entire night began to worry.
The doctor did say that she would wake up soon. Why hadn’t she woken up yet?
In his anxiety, Baron Stuart rushed from the bed and dragged over Emily Walker’s main doctor.
“Didn’t you say she would wake soon!? Why hasn’t she woken even after more than ten hours!?” Baron Stuart’s anger returned; bloodstains began to appear on his back wound.
Seeing this, Bella Stuart imdiately stepped in to stop him, “Brother, your back injury is opening up again, please don’t get so excited, okay!?”
She was slightly exasperated. Couldn’t he just inquire calmly?
However, she understood; whenever it ca to anything concerning Emily Walker, her brother couldn’t remain as calm and composed as he used to be.
She turned her head and looked at Emily Walker, who was still unconscious.
She couldn’t help but curse inwardly: Emily Walker, it’s as if you’re a challenge in my brother’s life that he just can’t overco, no matter what he does.
