Lance looked at Tanya with a cold expression. Then he did not say anything and took Yvette away.

Juliette felt that the people behind her were gone, and she stopped shaking.

She was also extrely calm.

"Tanya, thank you." Juliette hugged Tanya.

Tanya said with a dull expression, "Don’t ntion it, Juliette. We’re a family."

"Of course. It’s ti to take your dicine," Juliette said with a smile. "I’ll get your dicine."

When Juliette went out, Tanya looked at the ceiling and carefully recalled the events of the morning.

I was dizzy because I drank the water given by Juliette...

The reason I fell was that the handrail I was pulling on suddenly ca loose.

Why did it loosen?

Tanya knew very well that as long as Juliette was around, there would be many strange things going on.

But...

She knew better that it would be more dangerous for Juliette to be released.

That was why Tanya had tried her best to keep Juliette by her side. At least Juliette still thought that she was easy to be controlled and had no doubts.

Tanya imdiately smiled as she saw Juliette. "Juliette, don’t be tired."

"It’s okay. I’m not tired."

Juliette handed over the water and dicine and watched Tanya take it.

"Have a good rest."

Tanya had already fallen asleep before Juliette said goodbye.

...

In the president’s office of the Wolseley Group.

Lance leaned back against the chair, and his head tilted back. He seed to be in deep thought.

After a long while, he ordered, "Get all my travel records from January to May, check the ti when Juliette was with , and then see if there is sothing suspicious."

"OK, Mr. Wolseley." Frankie nodded.

This kind of investigation was similar to finding a needle in a haystack, especially since they had to check the details of the previous months.

"Wait a minute!"

Frankie was stopped just as he reached the door.

Lance suddenly sat up straight and said with sharp eyes, "Give a copy of the information of the bodyguard beside Juliette."

Soon, Frankie handed over the information about Juliette’s bodyguard, Jovanny.

After flipping through a few pages, Lance frowned. "Is Jovanny a n of Sacrifice?"

"Yes, Mr. Beckford found him for Ms. Beckford."

Lance turned to the last page and saw so photos of Jovanny’s battles and his daily life.

His slender fingers stopped for a few seconds on Jovanny’s determined eyes.

Lance recalled that several tis before when he t Jovanny, Jovanny’s eyes focused on Juliette all the ti.

That gaze was very different from the one in the photo!

Out of the feeling of a man, that gaze...

Lance pointed at the photo twice and instructed, "There’s no need to check the previous surveillance. Keep an eye on Jovanny for the next two days to confirm one thing."

"OK." Frankie respectfully left.

...

In a villa in the suburbs.

A man in a black suit leaned against the sofa with his head hooded and hands tied.

"Crash!"

A handful of cold water was poured over him.

The hood on the man’s face was removed, and his eyes were as fierce as a beast.

When he was facing the four strong n, his eyes showed no fear. He said in a fierce voice, "You are courting death!"

The four strong n slowly stepped aside.

The man behind them was very handso.

Jovanny saw the man, seed to feel a little guilty, and his determined eyes dodged.

"Jovanny.

"Do you know why I’m looking for you?" Lance glanced at him coldly.

Jovanny lowered his head and kept silent.

Lance said slowly, "Juliette’s child..."

Jovanny suddenly beca nervous.

Lance smiled because he guessed right.

"It’s yours!"

It was not a question, but an affirmation.

Jovanny shook his head and imdiately denied, "No!"

Lance asserted.

He said slowly, "I just took your hair and made a comparison."

Jovanny’s face was drained of all color and animation. He bit his lips tightly.

"What exactly happened? Tell clearly!"

Lance crossed his legs and said coldly, "Otherwise, this child of unknown origin who has ruined my family’s reputation will be aborted."

"No!" Jovanny suddenly beca agitated.

Lance did not speak and waited for Jovanny’s reply.

Jovanny said, "It’s mine."

Although Lance already knew the result, he still felt relieved when he heard Jovanny’s words.

It was not easy for him to chase Yvette back, and he did not want to be manipulated to do sothing that would make Yvette sad.

Lance pointed at the sofa and said, "Was it that ti at the charity eting?"

Jovanny was stunned because he did not expect Lance to know.

Lance said indifferently, "That day, you bought the waiter to change my wine and asked Juliette to sleep in my room in advance. Then, I didn’t co, so you walked into that room."

Everything beca easy to investigate after Jovanny was found.

They didn’t et each other too often. And based on the ti when Juliette was pregnant, it was easy to figure that out.

The hotel surveillance of the charity ball was also retrieved.

Coincidentally, that was when the surveillance went wrong, so Lance understood more clearly.

It should be Jovanny who deliberately destroyed the surveillance.

They had plotted everything, but they did not expect that Lance had always been very vigilant.

Lance felt a little dizzy after drinking the wine that night, so he imdiately asked Frankie to pick him up.

But that wine was not the kind of dicinal wine that could be examined, but a kind of special dicine that could make people vigorous.

Therefore, Lance only felt a little hot, but there was nothing wrong with his physical health.

And this thing was not unusual. Many won wanted to climb into his bed.

So Lance let Frankie handle it, and then, he ignored it.

It was not until Tanya ntioned pregnancy ti of Juliette that Lance beca alert.

Jovanny bowed his head and admitted with a pathetic expression, "Yes."

He did not succeed that night. So he went back to that room because he thought that Juliette was still waiting.

Jovanny did not expect that to increase the probability, Juliette also took a special dicine. Then Juliette threw herself at him passionately.

What Juliette wanted was a child who could help her get what she wanted.

And she didn’t care whether this child was healthy or not.

Juliette took a high dose of that dicine. So she made Jovanny unable to leave and had sex with her carelessly.

Jovanny felt good sleeping with the woman he liked.

After one ti, Jovanny had no scruples and had sex with Juliette several tis.

Later on, Jovanny took everything, including Juliette’s pregnancy and paternity test.

Jovanny thought that he would keep it a secret as long as he could. If Juliette could marry into the Wolseley family as she wished one day, he would keep this secret for the rest of his life.

Jovanny suddenly struggled from his chair and knelt on the ground.

"Mr. Wolseley, Ms. Beckford is completely unaware. She thinks that the child is yours."

Jovanny’s head was bleeding and he said excitedly, "It’s all my fault. If you want revenge, just take revenge on ."

Only then did Lance understand why Juliette always insisted that the child was his.

It turned out that Juliette had always thought that he was the one who had sex with her.

"You tell her yourself," Lance said with a mocking smile.

As he spoke, he snapped his fingers. Then the door opened and Juliette was pushed in.
