Jack imdiately contacted the boss of Consuela Hotel.

Unexpectedly, the boss refused to see Jack.

Jack drove to the boss’ place overnight and tried every ans before he finally t the boss.

Jack offered to buy Consuela Hotel at two tis the market price.

However, the boss refused. He said this hotel was a family business, and it was left by his great-great-grandfather...

Jack felt annoyed.

Consuela Hotel was a chain star hotel that could be found across the entire world. How could the one in New York be a family business?

The boss must be kidding!

Jack had no choice but to triple the price. He could tell that the boss was tempted, but he still refused.

Jack had worked for Jamie for many years. He could tell that there was sothing fishy about this matter.

Jamie was in the top ten of New York’s rich list. The boss of Consuela Hotel wasn’t as rich as him.

The boss ignored Jack’s offer, and he still refused when Jack tripled the price.

This was a little hard to explain.

No businessn would refuse such a profitable offer.

It seed like the boss had so worries.

Jack had to ask Jamie again, but when Jamie heard this, he only said two words.

"Five tis!"

Jack was rendered speechless.

It ant that they would lose money in the next fifty years after they bought the hotel.

What a money-losing contract this was!

However, Jack knew that if he failed today, Jamie would probably pay ten tis the price!

Jack tried very hard.

Finally, in the face of huge benefits, the boss agreed.

The boss stopped talking about his family business. He said that he was unwilling to sell the hotel, but he was smiling.

Jack held the hard-won acquisition contract in his hands and felt bitter.

...

It was still dark.

Ellen woke up.

Looking at the sleeping Bobby beside her, Ellen had a sense of satisfaction that she had never had before.

No one knew what Ellen was thinking.

When Ellen left Bobby, others thought that she did not like Bobby.

However, they did not know that Ellen felt guilty.

Ellen blad herself for being a bad mother.

Depression was not an excuse.

From the mont Ellen extended her hand to Bobby’s neck, she was no longer worthy of being Bobby’s mother.

Moreover, Ellen’s reputation in New York had been ruined because she was once a ho wrecker. Bobby did not need a mother with a bad reputation.

Without Ellen, Bobby’s life would be more beautiful.

Ellen would just watch Bobby silently from afar.

Ellen felt empty as she reluctantly took her fingers away from Bobby’s little hand bit by bit.

Ellen ca out.

Kenyon slept on the sofa.

Kenyon was worried about Ellen and Bobby, so he did not sleep in the room.

Kenyon looked good when he was asleep. A few black hairlines were gently placed between his eyebrows. The eyelashes of his closed eyes were not dense but very long, making him look clean and elegant.

Kenyon was handso but not feminine. It was very rare.

Ellen walked forward, squatted down slightly, and covered Kenyon with the quilt.

When Ellen was about to take back her hand, she was stopped by Kenyon’s long and clean fingers.

"Ellen, why are you up so early?"

Kenyon’s voice was attractive in the early morning.

Ellen said, "It’s still early. You should sleep a little longer."

Ellen wanted to take back her hand, but Kenyon held it tightly. As he pulled it slightly, Ellen leaned closer to him.

Kenyon opened his clear eyes and said in a slightly hoarse voice, "I had a bad dream."

Kenyon’s dark eyes t Ellen’s.

There seed to be a crackling sound.

Ellen’s heartbeat accelerated, and she felt as if she had been sucked in by his dark eyes.

Ellen’s lips moved slightly. "What’s the dream about?"

Kenyon did not answer this question. He said, "Can I hug you?"

Ellen’s heart beat wildly. Before she could refuse, Kenyon took her into his arms.

This was a warm and powerful hug.

Soon, Kenyon let go of Ellen with satisfaction.

Kenyon dread that Ellen had left.

It was a very sad dream, and Kenyon needed a hug to assuage his sadness.

Soon, Kenyon got up.

"Get washed. I’ll go buy breakfast for you."

"No need. I don’t want to eat breakfast." Ellen was startled.

For people who couldn’t taste, the delicacies were tasteless, so they didn’t care what they ate.

But Kenyon didn’t think so.

Kenyon wanted Ellen to taste sothing she used to like. Even though she couldn’t taste it, eating the food she liked would make her feel different.

Kenyon pulled Ellen’s hand lightly and waved it, acting like a spoiled child.

"Don’t go. The nanny will be here soon. Can you wait for in the suite next door?"

Kenyon looked steady and reliable, but he was still young and would occasionally act like a spoiled child when he was with Ellen.

Kenyon’s voice was clear, and his face was handso. When he acted like a spoiled child, it was neither inappropriate nor pretentious.

Ellen could not resist Kenyon’s charm.

Generally, won could not resist handso younger n who were domineering yet gentle.

Kenyon knew this rule and acted like this at critical tis.

Kenyon knew that if he often acted like this, it would not work. Instead, it would be annoying.

Seeing that Ellen was still hesitating, Kenyon added, "I will co back in half an hour."

The place to buy breakfast was a little far. Kenyon would try his best to co back soon.

Ellen didn’t have the heart to say no, so she nodded and agreed, "OK, I will wait for you."

The corners of Kenyon’s mouth twitched, and he happily took the key and went out.

The nanny ca. Ellen did not want her to see Bobby, so she went to the next room.

It was still early, so Ellen took a shower.

The doorbell rang when Ellen got dressed.

Ellen thought it was Kenyon and opened the door with a smile.

"You’re back so soon..."

Unexpectedly, the person standing at the door was Jamie.

The smile on Ellen’s face imdiately froze.

Jamie’s heart tightened. Ellen’s brilliant smile was for another man.

At the thought of this, Jamie felt pain in his lungs and stomach, which made his handso face look slightly ferocious.

Jamie clenched his teeth, and his eyes darkened as he thought, that man went out?

Jamie was about to co in.

Ellen thought that Bobby was in the next room. If he was found...

No!

Jamie raised his foot and asked in an unclear tone, "Ellen, is it fun?"

As soon as Jamie finished speaking, Ellen slamd the door and shut Jamie out.

With her body against the door, Ellen’s heart was beating wildly.

At the door, Jamie had a gloomy expression on his face and his tone was cold.

"Ellen, I will only count to three."

Jamie’s angry voice ca from outside.

"Three..."

Ellen’s hands and feet trembled. She went to look for her phone and wanted to ask Kenyon to let the nanny take Bobby away.

As soon as Ellen got her phone, the door beeped.

It was opened.

Ellen turned back, her eyes filled with horror. She saw that Jamie was holding a black room card in his hand.

"How could you..."

Jamie did not say a word and walked closer.

Only then did Ellen see clearly that there were fresh wounds on Jamie’s face and hands. His black eyes were bloodshot as if he didn’t sleep last night.

It looked a little scary.

Ellen secretly dialed Kenyon’s number and kept calm. "Jamie, you broke into soone else’s room..."

Jamie suddenly leaned over and lifted Ellen up. He took away her phone and put it in his pocket.

Ellen was so angry that she punched Jamie. "Jamie, what the hell are you doing?"

Jamie ignored Ellen and pushed her to the bed like a monster.

Jamie pressed one of his knees on Ellen’s, and his hand held her shoulder. He could easily trap her.

"Bastard! Let go!"

Ellen struggled and reached out to grab Jamie. Another blood mark was left on Jamie’s face.

"Did you have a good ti last night?" Jamie asked, his eyes gloomy.
