Du Juan had originally planned to talk to her about this at a later ti.

“But I haven’t taken any professional acting classes. Wouldn’t I ruin the movie?”
But anyway she looked at it, if she could act in one of Jin Xin’s movies, it would be a good thing for her.
Realistically speaking, Ye Tianxin couldn’t think of any reason to decline the offer.
“You don’t need to worry about that. What concerns is whether you’d be able to carve out the ti to make this movie. We’ve already started preparations for it, and we’ll most likely start filming in early June. During that ti, you’d be sitting for your exams and being a caregiver to your sick grandmother. Would you be able to handle all those responsibilities? Furthermore, the university that you’re aiming for is Capital University...”
Ye Tianxin clenched her fists. She was determined to take all of this on!
Grandma’s illness would be treated.
And she would act in Jin Xin’s movie.
As for Capital University, she’d make the grade and get accepted!
“I can do this!”
Ye Tianxin clenched her fists, her eyes shining with the steely determination to beco a “Golden Girl.” That, in itself, would be a unique experience for her.
She would treasure every mont of it.
She would make the most out of every second of this rare, golden opportunity.
“Good. During this ti, you should focus on caring for your grandmother and prepping for the exams. Find so ti to co back here tomorrow to sign your contract. Once the contract’s signed, I can pay you. That way, you’ll have the money to pay for your grandmother’s treatnt....”
Ye Tianxin was very, very touched. It felt great to be alive. Everyone she t was a good, kind person.
Li Qingcang was one of them.
The lady boss at the noodle shop was another.
And so was Auntie Du.
“Thank you so much, Auntie Du. You really are the lucky star in my life.”
Du Juan reached out and ruffled Ye Tianxin’s lovely hair and said, “You’re like my daughter. If my daughter were still alive, she’d be about your age right now. Unfortunately, my daughter died at a very young age....”
“Auntie Du, let call you my godmother!” Ye Tianxin lifted her small face and said softly, “I grew up without a mother. My Grandma was the one who raised , with great difficulty. My Grandma is very good to , but because I don’t have a mother, all the other kids in my hotown tease for being motherless. I wish I was like them and had a mother who picks up from school and loves and cares for ... but I don’t. I don’t have a mother. I don’t have a father. I only have Grandma.”
Du Juan wrapped Ye Tianxin in a warm embrace. “My dear daughter. As long as you’re willing to accept , I will gladly be your mother.”
“Mama.”
Ye Tianxin had called her Mama. That one word, that very ordinary word, made Du Juan burst into tears. She hadn’t heard that word for such a very long ti.
“Sigh....”
Du Juan wanted to let Grandma know that Tianxin had acknowledged her as her godmother, so she drove to the hospital with Tianxin. However, when they walked into the ward, they discovered that it was empty and that Grandma was nowhere to be seen....
Suddenly, Ye Tianxin felt incredibly uneasy.
