She thanked her. “Thank you, Director Chen.”
Chen Cheng introduced Ye Tianxin to the colleagues in her departnt. Among them, there was a woman nad Bai Xiaoxiao whose eyes never left Ye Tianxin. Although she smiled sweetly at Ye Tianxin, there was a thick cloud of jealousy surrounding her.
Ye Tianxin was so young and beautiful that she always stood out from the crowd. It was inevitable for the other girls to be jealous of her.
“Bai Xiaoxiao, can you please bring Ye Tianxin to her office?”
Ye Tianxin’s office was a small room of about five square feet. There was a computer desk, a filing cabinet, a computer, and three chairs in the room.

Bai Xiaoxiao looked intently at Ye Tianxin, whose belly was protruding.
She had just watched the live broadcast of the press conference on the internet.
At first, she thought that soone as young and inexperienced as Ye Tianxin would fail miserably in her first press conference. She didn’t expect Ye Tianxin to have perford so well that everyone applauded her performance over the internet.

“Bai Xiaoxiao, we are now colleagues. If you have anything against , please tell honestly. Don’t play these little tricks.”
All Ye Tianxin wanted was to work. She was not interested in playing gas in the office with Bai Xiaoxiao. She might as well make use of the ti playing gas to better improve herself.
Bai Xiaoxiao did not expect Ye Tianxin to be so blunt. She thought she had concealed her real feelings very well.
“Ye Tianxin, I don’t understand what you are talking about.”

Ye Tianxin smiled sweetly. “Is that so? Are you that innocent?”
Bai Xiaoxiao continued to play dumb, but she couldn’t say anything when she looked Ye Tianxin in the eye.
Ye Tianxin almost whispered into Bai Xiaoxiao’s ear, “I’m a very easygoing person. If you don’t provoke , I will leave you alone. But if you antagonize , I will pay you back ten tis.”
Bai Xiaoxiao’s lips trembled with fear. She let out a scream and cupped her mouth with her hands before dashing out of Ye Tianxin’s office.
Bai Xiaoxiao was quite popular among her colleagues. So of her admirers chased after her when they saw her running out of the room.
Ye Tianxin could not care less about what happened. She simply looked out of the window.
She could see the imperial garden from her office on a day with good weather.
Ye Tianxin was now working in the Information Departnt of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Its main responsibilities were issuing news, explaining the position of the Empire on various policies, maintaining good relations between the Empire and the other countries, hosting reporters and visitors from the other countries as well as addressing the recomndations given on the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
