Ye Tianxin carried the case to her room and placed it on her desk. She switched on the desk lamp and sat down.
The secrets of her mother, Ye Linlang, were inside this leather case. She wanted to know them.
Ye Tianxin lifted the lid of the leather case gently.
Other than so of Ye Linlang’s clothing, there was a box that contained a military dal and also a notebook.

Ye Tianxin looked at the dal and thought that her father was really aweso. He must have suffered a lot to get a first-class military rit dal.
The dal looked prestigious. Ye Tianxin pinned it to her chest. She felt as if she could be closer to her father like that.
Ye Tianxin put down the dal and took out the notebook. There were many entries in the notebook that were written in black ink using a fountain pen.
Ye Tianxin took off her shoes and then climbed onto the bed. She read the diary silently.
