Ye Youran was embarrassed and beca angry when she heard what Ye Tianxin had said.
“I didn’t spread any rumors,” Ye Youran denied. “Isn’t it a fact that you cheated?”
“Ye Youran, you are a high school senior. You shouldn’t be ignorant about the law. Accusations should be proven. Do you have any witnesses who can prove that I cheated? Do you have any evidence? If you don’t and continue to claim that I cheated on the exam, well, that is libel. If I sue you and the courts agree to launch an investigation, do you know what that will an for you?”
Ye Youran clenched her fists tightly. Her face was red with anger.
She was so angry that she couldn’t think straight. She trembled.
She was beginning to lose her rationality.
“Ye Youran, what are you doing?”
Di Shanshi held Ye Youran’s slender wrist. She looked at her hand. She then realized, ‘What am I about to do?’
“I didn’t do anything!” Ye Youran shouted defensively.
Di Shanshi flung Ye Youran’s hand away. “You didn’t manage to beat Ye Tianxin in the exam this ti, but you can try next ti. Why are you doing this? You’re just embarrassing yourself.”
“It’s not like she got hurt!” Ye Youran said grumpily, crossing her arms.
She wanted to push Ye Tianxin. However, for so reason, she couldn’t do it.
“Tianxin, are you okay?”
Ye Youran wanted to say sothing else but was interrupted by Di Shanshi’s question.
“I’m alright. She hasn’t touched ...yet.”
Di Shanshi heaved a sigh of relief. “Tianxin, a smart person would not stand next to a collapsing wall,” he reminded Ye Tianxin. “You know how dangerous Ye Youran is. Why are you hanging out with her alone? What if she goes mad? What if she pushes you off the stairs and you get injured? It will affect your college entrance exams.”
Ye Tianxin knew that Di Shanshi was concerned about her. She smiled at him and assured him, “It won’t happen. I won’t let her push .”
What Ye Youran did at the school gates had already spread throughout the school.
Everyone was talking about it. They felt bad that they weren’t there to witness what happened between Ye Youran and Ye Tianxin.
The mont Ye Youran entered the classroom, Li Xiaohui approached her, “Ye Youran, it’s alright even if you didn’t manage to beat Tianxin at the exams. But why did you have to push Tianxin? You were the insistent one with the bet, but you refuse to do the consequences when you lost.”
Ye Youran looked up and replied, “Li Xiaohui, this is between and Ye Tianxin. It has nothing to do with you.”
“I know it’s none of my business, but I don’t like the way you are acting. You used to look down on people when your grades were good. Don’t think that nobody in our class knows. When Ye Tianxin was in middle school, you were the one who told those people that Tianxin didn’t have parents.”
Ye Youran’s face turned pale.
“So what if I had said that? Is it not true?” she responded.
“It is indeed true. Ye Tianxin does not have a dad or a mom. But Ye Tianxin still managed to co in first place for the exams in just a month! If you don’t like that, admit defeat this ti and do better for the next batch of exams! If you have such capabilities and a backbone, I, Li Xiaohui, will say that you are an upright and open-minded person.”
Li Xiaohui continued to speak, and Ye Tianxin put her hand on Li Xiaohui’s shoulder.
“Please, Li Xiaohui. Stop. I can handle her,” Ye Tianxin whispered.
Ye Youran took out her pencil case and threw it at Ye Tianxin.
“Ye Tianxin, you don’t have to pretend to be the good one here!”
The other students looked at Ye Youran. They were all shocked at what she did.
